🧵 Want to see a testimony of faithfulness? His wife died less than 48 hrs ago. We’re on a plane to AR for her funeral & he’s been reading his Bible since the moment he sat down. He’s cried plenty of tears but he hasn’t cursed God. He trusts that Jesus is sufficient.

If I’d told Oklahoma fans that they’d have a better passing offense through 8 weeks than Arch, Cam Coleman, Wingo, and Sark…. They’d think Mateer was a Heisman candidate.

I don’t intend to dunk on Joel, but Jesus doesn’t call us to help our friends. He commands we love our neighbor in need. May this experience awaken Joel’s heart that there are countless persons being detained and deported who are just like Samuel sans a friendship w Joel.
Replying to @FrankLuntz
Yes. My opinion is unchanged. I’m still going to help my friend—who came here legally, btw

Gracen Halton says he was really hurt on draft day because he went in the 4th round and that he’s playing with a chip on his shoulder because of it: “I really thought I was the best defensive tackle in that draft, but others didn’t and everything happens for a reason. So I gave glory to God to put the chip on my shoulder. Everybody that we play against, I know that they doubted me and I gotta show them who I am.” Gracen says he wants to be the best rookie defensive tackle this season and build off of that. Right now he IS the best rookie DT in the league 🎥: @NBCS49ers

One of the reasons I’m happy about Michael Fasusi being back, is that it shuts up all of the people that were calling him a quitter. That was really dumb and unfair. I blame the 2024 WR room for those takes.

Praying for him and his family is good. It would also be good to reflect on the damage this immoral mass deportation campaign is doing to people all over our country.

6. If you can’t stomach the idea of worshipping alongside someone who voted differently than you, you don’t need to “find another church.” You need to find Jesus. (7) facebook.com/share/p/1C9d3nW…

2. A pastor who tells you how to vote is Scripturally way outside of his jurisdiction. If he endorses loyalty to a political party, he’s a whore who has sold himself to the spirit of the age. Your pastor’s political opinions are not the Word of God. (3). facebook.com/share/p/1C9d3nW…

My wife had to ask me multiple times if I was ok while watching this I was laughing so hard This is absolutely incredible If you have a couple minutes please watch this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.

Warning to My Fellow Christian Pastors: God alone is LORD of the conscience! No mere human being may bind another person’s conscience. Your role? Preach the Word, which is sufficient. Let the sovereign Spirit do his work in application. Do not peddle your fleshly anxieties.
I’m a pastor who lives in Georgia. Let me make plain to my Georgia friends as a matter of basic Christian ethics: It displeases Christ to vote for Keisha Bottoms and Jon Ossoff. Yes, I aim to bind your conscience. As I would if you were a man cohabiting with your girlfriend.

They broke Eisenhower’s globe because they didn’t want to wait for a team of specialist historians to move it. I cannot think of a more apt metaphor for Pete Hegseth’s DoD.
EXCLUSIVE: Pete Hegseth wanted Gen. Dwight Eisenhower’s globe for his office. His staff broke it. We have photos.

This is the correct take. If David French, Russell Moore, and Tim Keller had attended a George Soros lecture at a Unitarian church, William Wolfe would be tweeting about it 10 times a day for the next eight weeks. Equal weights and measures.
Imagine what Wolfe, Isker, Haymes, etc. would say if someone attended an “antichrist lecture” in a secret lodge with a giant idol given by a billionaire homosexual transhumanist who wants to use AI to obtain eternal life . . . But on the left! That last part would surely be too much.

Why is JD Vance stumping for Democrats? Weird.
JD Vance makes a recommendation on who to vote for in the midterms: "Vote for the people who have solutions to lower the cost of gas, don't vote for the people who made the problem to begin with."
