First, the conversation topic:
magic.gg/news/eternal-weeken…
Before anything else, some gratitude. I know that Wizards owes us nothing. I've played Magic for nearly 30 years at this point, and the overwhelming majority of that time has been spent playing Vintage.

@danieljtvthorn from our local group brings us a color-restricted cube with only swamps in the basic land box, and plenty of strong mono B and Bx cards to draft. Achieve greatness at all costs at #BostonCubeParty

This sucks hard.
Are we just going to keep spamming eternal legal products that don’t exist in the primary place eternal Magic is played?
It’s not on the MTGO team. Whoever is negotiating these crossover deals is failing.

I had a great time at the Boston Cubeapalooza this weekend—I loved meeting and chatting with everyone, and thank you so much to the organizers for making it all happen!
I came in second, and I heard I was in good company as @rcsaxe previously came in second in this event. (1/4)

@DraftPunksMTG is planning a late January Cubeapalooza in Somerville…

Well, that didn’t take long. Turns out when you cast Wingmate Chaplain more than 12 times, things have a way of working themselves out. @DraftPunksMTG already have 2 qual’d for Day 2, let’s get that bread! Thanks to @lsv @Marshall_LR @LordsofLimited for the podcast prep!

I've been participating in an EDH boxing league over Spelltable with my normal draft group @DraftPunksMTG, and it is such a great way to enjoy Magic, crack some packs, and get some games in while we can't gather together. Would highly recommend.

The @DraftPunksMTG Commander Legends Boxing League Week Zero is tonight. 18 Packs of CMR to build an EDH deck. First match of the league played last night sets a HIGH bar for fun. I am Thrull'd to be playing this deck:

@DraftPunksMTG have been forced to trade weekly draft for Commander over Zoom. It ain’t Game Knights, but it certainly is helping with the challenges of social distancing. #notayoutubechannel @jfwong @JoshLeeKwai
