Probably a dozen or more families are able to sit at the dinner table tonight with their wonderful little child, safe and sound- only because of this man's bravery. He's a true hero and deserves the thanks of all Americans.
Bend, Oregon man who shot and killed a shooter at his daughters' school speaks out, praises female teacher for fighting the shooter, allowing him to have a clear shot. Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives. He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter. "I want to recognize [the teacher]. She gave me the opportunity to make my shot without losing my life..." "I swung the door open, and I stepped in, and I fired, and they dropped to the ground... I looked down at the gunman, and he was scrambling for his weapon. And I looked at him, and I shot him 2 more times..."

Wish more though this way. Too much of our society thinks they know better than the other and they very well may but our society is not meant to be this way. Thats the freedom we are supposed to have.
Milton Friedman rebukes a school board member: “Why should you be able to tell John and Jane that they have to be proficient in a foreign language? Maybe they’d rather be proficient in music, mathematics, or something else.” “It’s just a demonstration of your willingness to replace their judgement by yours.”

Five years ago, Attorney General Merrick Garland issued an infamous memorandum at the urging of the National School Boards Association and White House officials, directing the FBI and United States Attorneys to consider looking for a federal hook to prosecute parents exercising their right to free speech. Today, we are releasing the “Report to Expose the Weaponization of Government Against Parents in Schools” which details Weaponization of the Department against these parents — from attempting to get the National Security Division involved to ignoring repeated warnings from employees that leadership’s actions could be unconstitutional. Along with the report, we’ve released hundreds of exhibits and emails that make official and verify what many Americans had guessed: the Garland DOJ worked hand in hand with WH officials and the National School Boards Association to chill free speech and parental rights while they threatened to prosecute parents and label them domestic terrorists. Read the full report and our remedies here: justice.gov/opa/media/146420…

In my fifty years in the political arena I have never seen a bigger piece of shit than Thom Tillis
I was a Charlotte, NC, reporter when the openly Democrat leadership of Bank of America recruited Tom Tillis to run against one of the most conservative members of our legislature as a "Republican" and filled his coffers with cash. Tillis can't get along with Trump for one simple reason: he was a Democrat then, and he's a Democrat now.

Everything you see happening to the United States is an intelligence operation run by professionals who know how the system works. They have access to unlimited funding through the American taxpayer via NGO’s & U.S. agencies like USAID. The only way to defeat these people is to strip the system and rebuild it from the ground up with people of integrity.

The NGOs end up increasing the number of homeless people they manage, because that’s the only way to increase their revenue! Incentives drive outcomes. “Homeless” is a propaganda word used to describe people on the street who are mentally ill or severely addicted to drugs. The word implies that this is someone who fell a little behind on their mortgage payment and they’re one job offer away from getting back on their feet, which is obviously false if you’ve ever tried talking to a “homeless” person in SF, LA, NY, Austin or anywhere else. The honest reality is that we need to bring back asylums for extreme mental illness or drug addiction for those who are a serious danger to themselves or others.
Incentives determine outcomes If you give an NGO a certain number of dollars per homeless person, they will never solve homelessness SF spends more than $1b/yr (up 5x) and the homeless population has only grown NGO fraud is so insane, man.

100% behind this. Strip them of their vote shares or dilute it or let those invested within the fund vote. This is the way.
Steak and Shake: "The root of the rot is index funds." Most people aren't ready for this conversation, but investing in index funds means handing absurd amounts of influence to the executives of BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street. The "Big Three" have ingeniously harnessed the power of YOUR MONEY, steering corporate policy by voting on your behalf at shareholder meetings. To pick companies at random, the Big Three manage 22% of Moderna shares, 19% of Coca-Cola shares, and 25% of Target shares (as of last year). This gives them the muscle to push their ESG program: environment, social, governance. Thus you get people like Larry Fink saying ominous things like “At BlackRock we are forcing behaviors … You have to force behaviors." He can say that only because we turn our money over to him.

America’s corporate governance system is broken, and it’s killing public companies. Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating. Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground. The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves. It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors. Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence. True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over. Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market. We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.

Imagine doing everything right by working hard, being frugal, and saving money for almost 40 years to retire comfortably and then the government robs you of 30% of your net worth in 6 years, plus all of the cumulative taxes you’ve paid. Americans are being robbed blind.

Why do government employees receive 40% more in total compensation than private-sector workers? Government employees cost 42% more, with wages 24% higher and benefits 83% more generous. Taxpayers should not be forced to fund a government compensation system far richer than their own.

We’ve had a Republican led Senate for almost 2 years. - 0 recess appointments. - 0 election laws. - $40,000,000 weekly to the Taliban. Our @SenateGOP has been a huge disappointment. They suck.

We sold calves today. As expected they brought .50-.75 lower than they did 3 weeks ago. Market manipulation sucks. This cost us on average $200 per calf in lost profit. Trump received bad advice on this latest ground beef announcement.

If Trump really wanted to lower beef prices he would support Massie’s PRIME Act which allows individual states to permit local custom slaughterhouses to sell individual cuts of meat directly to consumers, restaurants, and grocery stores within that same state. But instead the Big Four major meat processors in America control over 85% of the market and consequently the cost of processing meat is high. But with Massie’s PRIME Act, small processors would be allowed to compete and would drive down costs. It would also help smaller meat producers to sell their beef to local markets. And we need Country of Origin labeling for foreign imported and foreign processed meats. Americans deserve to know where the meat they are buying to feed themselves and their families is coming from, and we have the right to reject it based on its country of origin. Both of these I cosponsored and are Republican sponsored bills, why won’t the Republican controlled Congress pass these bills? Why won’t the Republican elected President support these legislations which are America First? The answer is the Big Four meat processors and their well paid lobbyists roam the halls of congress and get to go to meetings and fundraisers at the White House and YOU don’t!
