That council has five members chosen by Pacman: @jenndefer (congrats!), @izebel_eth, a VC who's "worked closely with Pacman for three years," @caseykcaruso, a VC from investment firm @paradigm, @santiagoroel, a long-time crypto thought leader, and a mystery member to be announced ➡️ (cont'd) Council members can be replaced with voting so it's not a lifetime position ➡️ (cont'd) @thewolvesxyz and I are creating a Blast voting cabal in our Discord. We have a Blast holder role and a dedicated channel to organize proposals and activities. There are three role-tiers: 5K, 50K, and 500K. They launched a new game mode with huge Gold incentives where instead of just dueling you can hunt, chop trees, fish, and mine ore. (I've been fishing for the last hour in the background.) ➡️ (cont'd) Don't just login to your normal Cambria account to play this. It has a separate URL and requires a new character registration. ➡️ (cont'd) The new mode is so popular that the servers sometimes crash, causing addicted users in Discord to lament it as their own personal 9/11 lmao (h/t @0xsammy). ➡️ @DistrictOneIO dropped their Epoch 3 Gold, in total 1.24 million of it. ➡️ (cont'd) They aggressively zeroed out 21,000 suspected bot wallets but in the process accidentally flagged some of their best users and hosts, including @JerryJonesIlI, @resaang, and @PaddyWarburton. D1 will have an appeal form and hopefully Gold can be restored before the Blast token comes out. ➡️ (cont'd) Many expressed disappointment on the timeline with the amount of Gold they got this cycle versus last or compared to more casual users.
