Ngl bros I don’t have a clue what Railway is, but all of the ppl I follow who got super into vibecoding with their agents and Mac minis seem to be concerned so I feel for them 😞
With a fresh slate of games tonight, here's my takeaways from the 3 tipoff games...
BOS/DET: Duren looks like 2025-26 regular season Duren and not playoff Duren. Should be a strong year again for the Pistons. Very physical.
Boston looks completely different than last year. Bit of an enigma. When Tatum is locked down they'll miss having Brown.
NYK/PHI: Weird game. Both teams looked anemic on offense to start. Overall Knicks feel like the same team from last year for the most part. Extremely well rounded, and will be competitive in every game they play. Weird seeing Drummond in Robinson's place.
The 76ers are legit. If Embiid stays healthy this year I think they make the Finals. Looked really good playing together despite having a bunch of moving pieces in the offseason.
OKC/SAS: Did not expect the Thunder to look *better* after getting rid of Dort, but they looked phenomenal last night. SGA is an MVP candidate again. They won't always shoot 70% from 3, but they will do it from time to time and it'll be basically impossible to beat. I expect they win 21+ of their first 24 games.
Spurs were abysmal shooting last night. Reminded me of late in the playoff run. They'll figure it out, but you can't have an awful night from perimeter and beat high octane offenses. Anything less than WCF is a major failure this year.
If you look closely you can see the exact moment when everyone on CT went max doom and were 100% sure we would have the worst Sunday market open in recent history (followed by a mythical Black Monday)
Life is short. I prefer to stay long.
Fun tipoff game.
Detroit looks like they haven't missed a step in the offseason.
"No nights off in the East" seems like the theme.
Will see how the upgraded 76ers look in a couple hours...and then I think everyone is excited about OKC/SAS
With NBA tipping off today, the thing I'm watching very closely is the League's extra scrutiny on post-screen arm push to create space.
Have to imagine structurally it hits a select few teams (LA/BOS/ORL/OKC-via-SGA) harder the first few weeks w/ more offensive whistles.
It's good to have basketball back

Josh Allen is simply the best quarterback in the league and there’s not even a particularly close second

Absolute chaos in college football today
Can’t remember a Saturday with this many top 10 upsets since like 2014 or so
Gotta feel terrible for the Indiana QB there…absolute dime to win the game and his guy just had a foot out of bounds
Don’t think they had to do this at all, but pretty chad move from the dev team behind Standard
Not a ton of experimental teams onchain these days that would operate like this. Kudos are due for a swift, fair outcome (arguably more than fair or deserved)
Adverse burning of NFTs has been an extremely contentious point in the community ever since I first saw it with Wzrds back in 2022. Interesting to see the same opposing views exist just as strongly today even when mechanics are fully exposed/transparent/disclosed
The conference circuit has been fun (and very valuable on the institutional front) but man I am excited to see my family again and not travel for a few weeks
Wheels up 🛫
This is really cool to see tbh
Yuga top brass helping their community figure out workable solutions to the liquidation cascade/crisis from Blur/Blend shutting down
They don’t have to do this, but they are because they care.
Among the few remaining NFT teams in 2026 that can prove they actually are about the community and it isn’t just words
Cannot tell if I have acquired a conference plague or if lungs irreparably damaged by the awful air quality experienced the last week in singapore
Singapore was great, but man the jet lag you get from a week on the other side of the world feels wayyyyyy worse now than it did when I was in my mid 20s 😭😭
Now that I’m finally on my way home - some thoughts as a first time visitor to both Token and Singapore:
- great country. Safe. People are friendly. Easy to get around.
- you simply cannot replace the value of face to face meetings with your customers and clients. More progress in a relationship from visiting someone’s office for 45 minutes than in weeks of slack messages, emails, and video calls
- I spent ~20 minutes at the actual conference, and think that was within +/- 30 minutes of the optimal amount of time to spend at the conference. The value (imo - at least for my job purposes) was primarily in small gatherings and conversations over tea/coffee
- within 2 years there are unlikely to be >5 companies that call themselves “crypto” companies. It has become exceeding clear to me that everyone now realizes “crypto” is just a piece of any future successful fintech company. The lines have become blurred, and a “pure” crypto company likely needs to do more than just crypto going forward.
- payments (stablecoins). Perps. Predictions. Called those as the only 3 themes that really mattered in crypto a little over a year ago…even higher conviction in that atm. Maybe something else shows up, but clear that they hold a dominant position atm.
- hosting your own side events is imo one of the highest value things you can do at these conferences, provided you can execute
- found a bunch of animals (Pokemon) to take back to my kids. Related - Eastern stores have way cooler Pokemon stuff than America.
- had never watched F1, but thoroughly enjoyed the live experience
Hard to believe it’s been a year since 10/10
Industry changed a lot that day…congrats to all who are still around - I hope we have all earned a proper bull market for the next year or so
People deserve regulated, fair access to the fastest growing class of derivatives in the world - trading on top of the assets they already know and love.
Perps are no longer just for crypto - they're for any asset type/class that you want to trade :)
Today we launched the first stock index perpetual future in America.
You can now trade a perp on the US 500, an index of America’s largest companies weighted by market cap.
Stock index perps let you trade the broader market with greater capital efficiency and make it easier to do things like take a short position. Unlike traditional options and futures, they don’t expire, so there’s no need to roll over contracts or decide when to exercise an option. Gains and losses are tied directly to how much the market moves, giving you an efficient and straightforward way to ask the question: is the market going up or down?
One perpetual contract concentrates liquidity instead of spreading it across expiration dates. Bringing more traders and competing views into a single liquidity pool on a national exchange can strengthen competition, improve pricing, and make markets more efficient over time.
This launch brings us closer to building a financial exchange for anyone and everyone. Prediction markets gave traders exposure to the events that move the stock market. The US 500 is the natural next step: a way to trade on the market itself.
