Kroenkes refinanced the bonds and charged the club an arms length interest rate. This is permissible and the saving was only £4-5 million per year.
They also didn't hide it, the interest rate environment was more favorable in 2020 than 2006, the old rate was fixed by swaps, and the club was in a stronger financial position and could legitimately refinance on the open market.
The refinancing was an arms-length transaction. No owner-created FFP advantage. How did you qualify as an accountant? 😂
