With all due respect, the number of times I spoke with Paul Ryan from my election as governor through the 2024 campaign: zero.
And Mitt Romney was attacking me back then because we beat Disney on gender ideology and he is a corporatist.
Try demonstrating a little more discernment next time someone is peddling bullshā to you.

Now THIS is the Ron DeSantis that I wanted to see on the National Stage the last time he ran for President, but didnāt deliver on!
Unfortunately, he allowed Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan advise him back then, when Americans knew how RINOāish those two were back then. So there advise made him look like a fool.
But now, his confidence is back ⦠āI saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE."
"THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT."
"They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it."
"This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate."
We definitely deserved better from our Senate, something John Thune did not want to deliver. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!

The average American lost $8,200 from their retirement accounts today (401k + Roth IRA).
If gas prices were cut in HALF today and inflation was 0% it would take SIX years to recover what they lost.
SIX years; and that is obviously best-case scenario.
But the legacy media wonāt tell you Wall Street is reacting to the Blue Waveāeven though Democrats elected Tuesday are anti-capitalism, pro-regulation, pro-tax.
And they are anti-wealth (for all but themselves).

Just make DeSantis the guy now and let him campaign the next two years saying what heād be doing now and how to fix things. Keep pointing to how good Florida is and how itās cause if when he showed up
The scale of the Republican defeat is so great that it makes the race for the GOP presidential nomination wide open.
If the administration had won a big victory, Vice President J D Vance would have had an enormous argument to be the inevitable nominee.
Now, with this go-slow strategy blowing up in Iran and his defense of Vivek Ramaswamy's horrible, inhumane ad featuring his opponent's mother attacking her own daughter, a good bit of the luster has come off the bloom.
The number of people who want to draft Secretary of State Marco Rubio is staggering.
In addition, Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, Ron DeSantis, Pete Hegseth, Glenn Youngkin, and a surprising number of people may decide this is their chance to take advantage of the chaos of the shocking defeat and seek to be the champion who can rescue the party and the country.

I agree with Kenny Smith, this 3 guard starting lineup is not sustainable over the course of the season. Bench strength is suspect if all 3 guards are starting. Mitch is afraid to bring one of his guards off the bench.
Thinking Tobias Harris a guy who was the second best player on a top 3 east team last year wouldnāt bring anything off the bench is wild
I fear sooner than later there needs to be a conversation about the Spurs bench.
Dylan Harper earned a starting spot, no questions asked. But that unit without him has played very poorly. 10 points tonight, zero in the second half. Youāve got to have a deep rotation to win championships.
Nobody can off the bench and create for themselves. Thereās not one true āspark plug.ā The only player I would trust for long stretches is Julian Champagnie.
Tobias Harris is good, but he isnāt magically going to solve all those issues. And all of us know heās better fit for the Spurs starting lineup at the four spot, but that sounds like itās not going to happen.
Just food for thought. Feel free to chime in.

The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why:
ā¦ļø āThe meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed homeāthe biggest non-voter bloc in our nationās history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldnāt see any difference between the two parties.āā¦ļø
Thereās a lesson in that worth remembering. You canāt win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.
Or just put Harper back on the benchā¦. Heāll surviveā¦.
While pundits expected newcomer Tobias Harris to be a starter in San Antonioās new guard-heavy lineup, internally, there was never any consideration to having Devin Vassell come off the bench. Hereās why:
