A Mets Extra reunion of sorts at MSG this afternoon with @MetsBooth , former intern @KennyAlbert and me. The only one missing was @HowieRose who was likely chasing golf balls in the Florida sun. LGM and LGR!
It’s been two Super Saturdays! Last week at Stony Brook, Josh popped the question…and Emma said yes. Today, at Delaware, Olivia joined Jake and Josh as a college grad.
So proud!
July 1st is always a special day. In 1987, WFAN was born. And 16 years later, on that same date, my little girl arrived! She is now the same age that I was when WFAN signed on the air! Happy 21st Liv!
So great to be invited to see Suzyn Waldman receive The Gracies Lifetime Achievement Award! She gave a wonderful speech that really resonated with the packed house. Hard to believe it’s been 37 years since she signed on @WFAN660. And she’s still going strong!
Spending a couple of days with @YouReachedJake and @josh_spitz at the US Open was a great way to kick off Father’s Day weekend. The best gifts don’t need to be wrapped.
Others who were at MSG tonight likely tweeted pics of the postgame victory celebration. Me, I’m sharing a pic of my post game meal as I wait at Grand Central for the 12:43am to Cortlandt. What a game! And what a fun night with @YouReachedJake! LGR!!!!
A great day at the @sportsradiopd Barrett Sports Media summit as my friend @CohenNFL was honored with the prestigious Jeff Smulyan award. Steve has had a remarkable career and I’m proud to have been part of it. Can’t wait to hear what’s next for him!
Meant to send this earlier but my fingers were too cold to type. Had a great time at the game with @YouReachedJake. What an incredible comeback by the Rangers! Perhaps if the Isles goalie wasn’t taking pics next to us he wouldn’t have given up six goals! LGR!
My friend @KennyAlbert has written a book! I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in sports broadcasting. While it’s a real page turner, I especially liked page 49. Why? You’ll have to get it to find out.
Congrats to @HowieRose and Gary Cohen on their induction into the @mets HOF. The Mets have had great broadcasters in the past and will again in the future, but none have been or will be better. Elite communicators with unequaled knowledge, objectivity and passion for the team.
Taylor is back @MetLifeStadium and so are we! So fortunate to be here! It’s my fourth Taylor concert with Liv. Does that qualify me as a Swiftie?
What a great night at MSG with @YouReachedJake! There’s nothing like playoff hockey and a big win for the home team. It is way past my bedtime. Could someone call me at 12:30 in case I fall asleep on the train? I don’t want want to wake up in Poughkeepsie. LGR!
Finding a girl that’s smarter than you…I know the feeling! Congrats Emma!
So sorry to hear of Rick Wolff’s passing. His Sunday morning program on @WFAN660 was enjoyed by both parents and their kids, a rarity in radio. An incredibly accomplished man, Rick was thoughtful, humble and kind. A true gentleman.
.@CohenNFL and I have worked with and for each other over the last 35 years. He’s been a great ally and supporter but, most importantly, a wonderful friend. Great things are in his future, including hosting shows on @SiriusXMNFL. I can’t wait for that first air check session!
42 years ago my Dad took me to my first concert, @billyjoel @TheGarden. Tonight I’m back at MSG to see the Piano Man with my family. So much to be thankful for!
