Data centers are the closest thing to a municipal money printer for funding infrastructure and schools and the slopulist political opposition is evil.
Data centers in Loudoun County, Virginia: “We get $1.2 billion a year in local tax revenue, about 40% of all of our tax revenue...on 3% of our land”
Buddy Rizer, the county's economic development chief, explained how “data center alley” grew:
“We would have never looked at having 55 million square feet of data center, 230-some buildings. That was not the plan. The plan was to utilize the fiber loop, the internet exchange, to utilize a reclaimed water line, and buildings that were already built. That was the plan, right? And so that made a lot of sense.”
“But, you know, fast forward, today we are largely dependent on that. We get $1.2 billion a year in local tax revenue, about 40% of all of our tax revenue. And while that looks overwhelming, data centers take only about 3% of all of our land in the county. So it’s quite a return on investment. You know, 40%, $1.2 billion, on 3% of our land.”
Woah a politician who isn’t trying to solve a supply crisis by subsidizing demand
Fox host: Give our viewers an idea of what that piece of legislation looks like that brings down costs. How do you define that?
@JamesTalarico: I would love to work with President Trump on suspending the federal gas tax and diesel tax. This is a hidden tax you pay every time you go to the pump, and if we suspend it, we could drop the price of gas by 18 cents a gallon immediately to provide relief. On housing, we have to get rid of all these outdated regulations so we can build millions of new homes so young people can afford to buy their own home.
We could do so much more at the federal level if we're willing to cut this red tape.
This is why you need a short chud friend. Take notes boys
Steve, a tiny dibbler at Perth Zoo, reportedly helped save his endangered species without ever becoming a father. Female dibblers prefer larger mates, and Steve was too small and apparently didn't smell appealing. Keepers used him as the first male females encountered during breeding trials. After meeting Steve, females found the next males more attractive and were more willing to mate. According to the zoo, Steve lived a long life as an unlikely conservation hero.

The most underrated thing about AI:
It doesn’t care where you went to school.
It doesn’t care about your accent, your degree, your zip code or who your parents know.
It answers the kid in a village exactly like it answers the Stanford grad.
No institution in history has ever done that.
Hey retard.
The unemployment rate is down this year and also extremely low

This is going to be one hell of a decade.
While the socialist doom brigade wants to burn everything to the ground and put AI advancement on hold, AI itself just keeps accelerating.
GPT-7 and the next generation of frontier models are on the horizon. We're heading towards breakthroughs in mathematics, engineering, medicine and potentially cures for terrible diseases like cancer.
Now imagine telling a mother whose child could be saved by an AI-discovered treatment that we should have paused it.
Imagine telling someone dying from a terrible disease that their chance at a cure should wait because some politicians are terrified of progress.
Do you seriously believe people will keep voting for those politicians once AI starts delivering medical breakthroughs that save their loved ones?
The moment that happens, the entire anti-AI narrative begins to collapse.
Because suddenly this isn't about politics, ideology or who gets to control the future anymore.
It's about human lives.
And deliberately holding back technology that could save millions of lives isn't some noble act of caution. It's a moral catastrophe.
History won't judge us by how successfully we slowed progress. It will judge us by how many lives we could have saved and chose not to.
Never doom. Only bloom.

If you’re actively trying to stop AI development, you’re my enemy and an enemy of humanity.
I consider what you’re doing a direct attack on humanity’s future.
Every disease that could have been cured, every life that could have been saved, every person who could have escaped poverty.
Every opportunity lost is a direct consequence of your actions, and those lives are on your shoulders.
You’re willing to sacrifice all of that because you’re terrified of progress.
I have absolutely zero tolerance for this.
Your movement deserves to be politically defeated, intellectually dismantled, and remembered as one of the greatest obstacles to human progress in history.
