Today is another year without my daughter, Brianna Long, and the weight of it still feels impossible.
I struggle to call it an anniversary. It was the day everything broke.
Brianna was murdered by gang members while she was at work in Valdosta, Georgia. We are still waiting for a trial. Still waiting for answers. Still trying to move through a life that no longer makes sense.
I miss her in ways I can’t fully put into words—her voice, her face, the ordinary moments I used to take for granted.
I find myself wondering who she would have become and what we would have shared. Grief has narrowed my world. Most days I work and come home.
The things I used to enjoy no longer feel like mine. Learning to live without her has been the hardest thing I have ever faced.
Please keep our family in your prayers. Pray for strength, for answers, and for justice for Brianna. Nothing will bring her back. We know that.
But she deserves accountability, and we deserve the truth. We will keep holding on to the hope that it comes soon.
Brianna, not a day passes that we don’t miss you. You are loved. You are remembered. Your life mattered, and we will keep speaking your name.
My sweet Bri Bri, I love you more than words can hold. Until we meet again.

The Church of Jesus Christ must rise up in prayer for America. Our nation stands in deep trouble, and the hour demands more than opinion or activity. We are called to intercede. That means standing in the gap, crying out to God on behalf of a people who have largely turned from Him, and refusing to accept the present course as final.
Voting is necessary. Christians should cast ballots with conviction and clarity. Yet voting alone will not heal what is broken. Laws can restrain evil for a time, but only the moving of God can change hearts, restore truth, and turn a nation. Earnest prayer is not optional; it is the primary work. We must pray specifically, persistently, and with faith that God hears and acts when His people humble themselves before Him.
America will not be saved by politics, programs, or human wisdom. Only intercessory prayer and the sovereign moving of God will save her. We need a holy repentance of our sins—personal and national—and a renewed vigor for the holiness of God. Compromise has weakened us. Softness toward sin has dulled our witness. The Church must return to the fear of the Lord, confess what we have tolerated, and seek His face until He responds.
Let the Church arise. Let prayer become our first and fiercest response. Only then will we see the mercy and power of God turn this nation.
🙏Father in heaven, we come before You in humble repentance. Forgive us for our sins—for the ways we have compromised with the world, for the hardness of our hearts, for the times we have remained silent while evil advanced, and for our failure to love Your holiness as we ought. Cleanse us, O God. Restore to us a pure fear of Your name and a zeal for Your righteousness.
We intercede for our nation. Have mercy on America. Turn hearts back to You. Raise up leaders who fear You and establish justice. Heal our land of its deep divisions and moral decay. Protect the innocent, restrain the wicked, and pour out Your Spirit until revival comes.
Do this especially for the sake of our children. Do not let them inherit a nation given over to darkness. Give them a future under Your blessing. Preserve them, guide them, and let them know You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of K-g Logan. Over the weekend, Logan became very unwell and was diagnosed with cancer. Earlier this week, surrounded by his handler Deputy Tony LoRusso, the entire PCSO K-9 Unit, and additional K-9 handlers from other agencies, he passed away.
Named after Deputy LoRusso's favorite Marvel character, Wolverine, Logan lived up to his name through his dedication, determination, and unwavering work ethic. He was Deputy LoRusso's third and final K-9 partner.
Selected for law entorcement work at just 10 months old, Logan began working with our K-9 Unit in 2018 and added Narcotics Detection to his abilities in 2019.
Deputy LoRusso and K-9 Logan pioneered the use of laser-pointer directional cues and team-integrated building searches for the unit which was particularly useful in a 2022 case where suspects fled from a stolen vehicle and hid in a residence.
Logan was not only a fierce member of the unit but also an accomplished competitor, earning 16th overall at the 2025 USPCA National Championships and helping his four-man team take second place at both Region 1 and Nationals.
Even in his final week, Logan located a felony warrant suspect out of Georgia and helped uncover cocaine and methamphetamine in a separate felony drug investigation.
Off duty, Logan was known for his social personality, his love of community demonstrations, and his habit of leaning against people for a good rub down his side. At home, he enjoyed endless games of fetch, pup cups, and time with his family.
Our condolences go out to Deputy LoRusso, his family, and his K-9 family. 🐾🙏🏻

He invoked Hegseth's mother (moms are fair game now, huh?), and claimed she was "the type" who would have worn her son's jersey to games.
*Hegseth was an all-state point guard in high school in Minnesota, set various school records. He played college ball and got some floor time in the 2001 NCAA tournament. El-Sayed played club lacrosse at Michigan.*

Ryan O’Shea, 21, a University of New Haven student and club hockey senior assistant captain, was killed Oct. 16 in a head-on crash on I-91 in North Haven, CT, when a pickup truck traveling the wrong way struck his vehicle.
The driver was Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a 31-year-old Mexican illegal alien. He should never have been in the United States in the first place, let alone behind the wheel.
In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez after he illegally entered the country. He was issued an expedited removal and removed. He then illegally reentered — a felony — and was arrested again by Border Patrol. He was issued a final order of removal and later reentered at an unknown time and place.
O’Shea was returning to campus after a hockey game. He was studying criminal justice and aspired to join the NYPD. His family joins the many American families who have been left with unimaginable loss.
Loss that was preventable.
This is our why.
