Today, The Department of Financial Services will open the first Insurance Assistance Hub in Destin from 1p.m. - 4p.m. CST.
Representatives from at least 6 major insurance carriers will be available alongside representatives from the Division of Consumer Services to answer insurance related questions!
The Hub will be open tomorrow, October 12, 2026, from 9a.m. - 4p.m. CST.
Stay alert for potential scams during storm recovery. Taking a few extra precautions can help protect you, your home and your finances.

This morning my team, along with @fdlepio, arrested the Mayor of Kissimmee for abusing her office for personal gain.
I am proud of the outstanding work that my auditing team and Criminal Investigations Division did to uncover the alleged misuse of taxpayer dollars and to ensure that Jackie Espinosa’s corruption did not go without recourse.
