One of the biggest changes in high school basketball recruiting is the rise of two-year agreements.
One power-five GM to @Rivals: “If a player is being offered a million dollars for a single year, I might not want to pay that their freshman season.
But I could offer $700,000 year one, and $1.3 million in year two. Then I could tell the agent, look, we are making a bigger commitment, offering a total of $2 million guaranteed over two years.”
NEW: Some of the nation's top high school basketball recruits are commanding NIL offers approaching $5 million for a single season.
I spoke with anonymous college coaches and GMs about the rising market, two-year deals, and what goes on behind the scenes during negotiations.

An excellent look at what men’s college 🏀 teams are offering & paying high school basketball recruits.
And how player contracts are being structured.
Five star recruits are generally demanding 1 yr deals.
Lower ranked recruits are sometimes taking 2 yr deals.
Market is up.

Extreme usage is usually a red flag, not a flex. The 35–40% USG leaderboard is basically a graveyard of monster individual seasons that went nowhere.
The Top 45 highest-usage individual seasons literally resulted in ZERO championships.
It ain't the championship recipe for Luka

NFHS sect 44 rule 3b.
When both feet go in the air it’s called “jumping”.
Now watch wemby jump off BOTH feet on this step th.. I mean TRAVEL.
And go read the rule again.
It’s common sense.
Why would you not be allowed to dribble (rule c) and run w it, but you can shoot it?

Absolutely. 💯 But it’s also an EMBARASSMENT that many so called b-ball experts don’t understand why stepping thru and jumping from one foot to the other should NOT be in the game… #rule3b
