Labour’s VAWG plan going well then! 🙄 A 14-year-old boy repeatedly stabbed a girl who rejected his advances, using a SIX-INCH kitchen knife. He stabbed her at least TEN TIMES. A shopkeeper who tried to intervene was also stabbed. The attack was premeditated. The judge acknowledged how terrifying and dangerous it had been. And the sentence? A 12-month referral order and a three-year restraining order. No further custody. Judge Ian Lawrie KC reportedly told him: “You’re a bright lad” and “keep out of mischief.” Mischief?! As though he'd been caught nicking a few apples off somebody's tree, rather than chasing a terrified girl through a shop and repeatedly stabbing her because she dared to say NO! The judge also said custody was the last place he should be... What about the girl? Her trauma? Her safety? Her right to reject a boy without fearing for her life? Of course young offenders need rehabilitation. But surely that cannot come at the expense of meaningful accountability for such extreme violence. Labour promises to halve violence against women and girls within a decade. How can we expect girls to believe that violence against them is taken seriously when this is how an attempted rejection-fuelled attempted killing is dealt with? Her mother called the sentence “disgraceful.” I can certainly understand why. A girl's life is worth more than a boy's promising future. archive.ph/OA7SQ

The Government says tackling misogyny and violence against women and girls is an emergency, yet has not outlined what specific measures it’s taking against men from cultures that regard women as sex objects. Policy should be evidence-led rather than ideologically-driven.
Ultimately the people that read this stuff need the editorial but the data doesn’t lie

We welcome the @TheEconomist publication of the scale of sexual offences by nationality for 2020-22. This data is essential for understanding an obnoxious social phenomenon and for developing strategies to prevent such offences. They should publish it every year, without fear of being called racists. At the Women's Policy Centre, we will soon publish a comprehensive report on why mass migration is a women’s issue. Stay tuned.
Some people have criticised @TheEconomist for using a log scale here, because it squashed the top end of assaults. So here's another way of presenting this, showing just how disproportionate the rates are. If we aren't serious about these national/cultural differences, we aren't committed to keeping Brits safe.

A new study in the journal Sexuality & Culture found that children as young as 12 now view “erotic content creation” on platforms such as OnlyFans as a “desirable” career choice, believing this to be an accessible source of income and a form of empowerment. Schools need to rethink RHSE lessons - an increasing number of young girls aspiring to be online porn stars and sex workers should be a national emergency. telegraph.co.uk/tv/2026/04/0…

Don't be fooled by the Conversion Practices Bill. Its name alone manipulates the public to believe that horrific abuse of LGBT people is somehow still legal, and that this bill is needed to criminalise it. Obviously the abuse of LGBT people, such as electric shock treatment or corrective rape and so on, is already illegal. So what are they trying to criminalise? Honest conversations between children and adults who care for them. They define 'conversion practice' as "causing the individual to have or not to have" or "believe that they have or do not have, a transgender identity or a particular transgender identity". If you do not affirm a child's 'gender identity' you could face up to 5 years in prison. This is not only an attack on freedom of speech, but it is anti-gay. A bill that purports to protect gay people will actually harm them. We know that gender nonconformity is far more common in children who are same sex attracted. Hence the vast majority of children who identify as 'trans' are also same sex attracted and are confused as to why they don't fit the stereotypes for their sex. Sign the petition below.

If the “practical action” includes school materials like this, boys are going to feel completely victimised and are unlikely to engage. Why is the Government not pledging to tackle actual misogynistic cultures which regard women as objects?
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls. We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online. theguardian.com/society/2026…

What about tackling misogynistic cultures which have to be told it’s wrong to rape women and children? A leaflet is not good enough.

Good to hear @PreetKGillMP raising concerns about the conversion therapy bill. She said: “…parents and guardians must have freedom to take a cautious approach when navigating sensitive topics with their children. The evidence shows that devices such as chest-binders or puberty blockerscan cause long-term bodily damage. “But by criminalising words that amount to ‘economic’ and ‘emotional pressure’, the bill could undermine this advice from Cass, and ensnare parents who simply want to properly examine the risks involved with early ‘transition’, and where appropriate, advise against rushing into the use of such serious interventions. “It would be wrong if a bill created to protect vulnerable people would overreach into potentially causing unnecessary censorship of important and loving conversations within families.” telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

I honestly don’t think the public understand what this Bill will mean in practice. There would be a riot if they did. Please do everything you can to explain it to people and get them to write to their MP..
Two Tavistock whistleblowers warned about its gender clinic long before it closed. Now they are raising the alarm about the draft Conversion Practices Bill. Watch therapists Marcus and Susan Evans explain why it poses serious risks to children, parents and families.

It would also be helpful if Baroness Cass spoke out against the conversion therapy bill, which could criminalise parents who try to protect their children from ideologically-driven doctors. Would “ATN”, the father who brought legal action against Sussex Wellbn Partnership for prescribing cross sex to his 16-year old son without his knowledge or consent, be arrested for “suppressing” his child’s “transgender identity through abusive acts that cause serious physical or psychological harm, or serious alarm or distress with a substantial adverse effect”? theargus.co.uk/news/26103982…

At some point it would be helpful if the Hillary Cass who has roundly condemned the use of puberty blockers as unevidenced pseudo science had a word with the Hillary Cass who thinks the puberty blocker trial is a great idea actually.

Woman sees gap in the market for women-only accommodation in London. Woman opens women-only hostel. And you know what’s coming… Owner of Hostelle London, Bianca Brasdorp, says: ‘We are committed to providing an inclusive and safe environment where all women can feel welcomed and valued. This includes transgender women, whose presence enriches our community, we honor (sic) and affirm their gender identity, acknowledging their rightful place in this space.’ Has Bianca been living under a rock? Errr… hello… Supreme Court ruling… you can’t say something’s women-only and then let the men in… allowing males to share dormitories and showers with women and girls is a SAFEGUARDING FAIL! Women who haven’t read the full website and turn up to find a male in their room have every reason to be angry at being deceived. Do better Bianca. Or at least read the EHRC Code of Practice which is very clear on how to interpret the Law. Women-only really must mean women only. It’s the law.

The Welsh Senedd has confirmed that parents have no right to withdraw their child from mandatory RHSE in schools from the age of 3, in response to a question from @CatCullenMS The response from Elfyn Llwyd implied that there is no inappropriate sexual content or indoctrination happening in Welsh schools, despite a recent report from education watchdog Estyn finding that “Sensitive topics such as sexuality, consent, gender identity and harmful gender stereotypes are often taught inconsistently.”

A snapshot of just a small part of what Dr Sarah Redvers was up against at WellBN Brighton🧵 👇
In 2021, NHSE commissioned Dr Robin Warshafsky to investigate concerns about Dr Sam Hall's prescribing practices. Dr Warshafsky's full report is to be found at page 653 of the hearing bundle, but has not to my knowledge been released in downloadable form.

Great. When that’s done, can Cass please call for an independent inquiry into how she recommended a Puberty Block Trial to conduct medical experiments on healthy children as young as 11?

She nearly DIED giving birth to their baby. After a massive haemorrhage and emergency C-section, she wasn’t even allowed to say goodbye to the little girl she’d carried for nine months. That baby ended up in a mansion with 20 other children, all later removed amid horrific abuse allegations. The couple? They ran their own surrogacy agencies. How many more women and children have to suffer? BAN SURROGACY. elpais.com/us/2026-10-25/la-…

Baroness Cass has called for a full independent inquiry into Brighton WellBN Clinic, saying the scandal “dwarfs” the Tavistock. She said “There urgently needs to be an investigation of why every system that should have protected children, young people, and indeed young adults has failed. Clearly it goes beyond NHS Sussex to other regulatory bodies.” thetimes.com/article/cfde7b4…

And…. step forward the Church of England, hosting Hall after leaving WellBN last year. Is there anyone left in our institutions and professions that do safeguarding anymore?
