CFB Main Slate DFS Article
✍️ @CFFguys
QB 🎯
Kevin Jennings, SMU $8.2K
“Jennings has already shown one of the best passing ceilings on the slate, topping 430 yards twice and averaging 322.6 passing yards with 2.8 touchdowns per game.
SMU carries a 30.5-point implied total and plays at a fast pace, while Jennings projects for 24.6 fantasy points, third among the quarterbacks, with 31.2 projected pass attempts. Virginia has also allowed huge rushing performances from Ashton Daniels and Michael Hawkins, giving Jennings additional upside if SMU uses his legs.”
RB 🎯
Trelain Maddox, Georgia Tech $5.4K
“Maddox has capitalized on his increased opportunities, topping 24 fantasy points in each of his last two games and scoring five touchdowns. His role should expand significantly this week with Justice Haynes doubtful and Malachi Hosley already ruled out. Maddox handled 10 carries for 81 yards and three touchdowns against Duke last week after producing 88 total yards and two scores against Stanford.”
WR 🎯
Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State $9.7K
“Smith is averaging an absurd 36.4 FPG, 152.7 receiving yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game. He has already produced three 150-yard games, including back-to-back performances of 217 and 206 yards, while commanding a massive 37 percent target share.
Even at $9,700, the numbers make Smith difficult to fade. His 33.4-point projection and 3.44 FP/$ both lead the entire slate, as does his projected target volume. Indiana has allowed 133.6 receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers, and Smith torched the Hoosiers for 144 yards when these teams met last December.”

QB 🔒
Brad Jackson, Texas State vs Colorado State (DK: $8.6K | O/U: 69.5 | Implied: 41.75)
“It’s best not to overthink this one. Brad Jackson is one of CFF’s most valuable quarterbacks, and he’s facing a defense that has allowed 52 points per game in its last three. The question isn’t if you’re playing Jackson — it’s what kind of lineup you’re building around him. He’s put forth 29+ DK points in three consecutive games and likely will again in a very favorable matchup.”

Friday Night CFB DFS Article

🎯 Ashton Daniels, Florida St vs Louisville (DK: $7.8K | FD: $12.0K | O/U: 59.5 | Implied: 28.0)
Ashton Daniels has taken his game to another level in Mike Norvell’s system, particularly with how aggressively Florida State is using him on the ground. That upside exploded against Virginia last week, when Daniels rushed 17 times for 136 yards and five touchdowns on 17 carries, earning 52.9 fantasy points. He has now rushed for nine touchdowns in five games.
Daniels does not need to be an elite passer to deliver at this salary. His 55.6 rushing yards and 1.8 rushing touchdowns per game lead the quarterback sample, earning him a 22.3-point projection that ranks second at the position, while his FP/$ ranks first. Florida State is implied for 28 points in a 59.5-point game against Louisville, giving Daniels another excellent environment to leverage his rushing ceiling.
