سلمان راجہ صاحب آپ درست کہہ رہے ہیں! مگر کیا آپ نے پارٹی کے سیکریٹری جنرل کے دستخط سے عمران خان کے لئے اپیل مغربی دنیا کی تمام embassies اور وزارت خارجہ کو، اور انسانی حقوق کے تنظیموں کو بیجھی ہیں؟ کیا آپ نے اس سلسلے میں درجنوں face to face meetings کئ ہیں؟ اگر نہیں کی ہیں تو آپ کو کرنی چاہییں، آپ سے بہتر کوئی یہ کر نہیں سکتا - اور آپ کی یہ پوزیشن بھی ہے!

Day 48.
24 hours ago, my family raised the alarm. My mother, @DrUzma_KhanPK, has a replaced heart valve, her blood pressure is rising in Kot Lakhpat Jail, and she is not receiving treatment.
Since then, there has been no word from the jail, no word from the authorities, and no cardiologist.
My mother and my aunts, @Aleema_KhanPK and @Noreen_KhanPK, all around 70, have been held for 48 days under a detention law, without charge. Their brother, @ImranKhanPTI, is in solitary confinement with his blood pressure at 192.
The state holds them. The state is responsible for their health.
Let her see her cardiologist. Charge them or release them.

لہذا خفیہ ذرائع سے ملنے والی اطلاعات کے فرمائشی پروگرام پر کڑی نظر رکھنے کی ضرورت ہے

Within the confines of prison walls, a deeply concerning pattern is emerging. Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and her elderly sisters, Dr. Uzma Khan, Aleema Khan, and Noreen Khan, are facing serious concerns regarding medical care, isolation, and access to their families.
▪️ Imran Khan: Reports indicate blood pressure reaching 192, prolonged isolation, and ongoing demands for independent medical assessment.
▪️ Bushra Bibi: Reported 65–70% vision loss, with concerns over delays in essential specialist treatment.
▪️ Dr. Uzma Khan: A replaced heart valve, rising blood pressure, and, according to her family, no medical treatment or access to her cardiologist.
▪️ Noreen Khan: Hospitalized following severe chest pain, while her family was reportedly kept uninformed and denied access. Her son, Hassan Khan Niazi, himself imprisoned, has repeatedly requested permission to see his mother since her hospitalisation. His requests remain unanswered.
These are not minor administrative issues. They concern the health, safety, and fundamental rights of individuals in state custody.
How long can families be kept in the dark? How long can urgent medical concerns go unanswered? And are we simply going to observe this situation unfold?
Human rights transcend the boundaries of prison gates.

Pakistan’s hybrid regime has existed for decades, and the data leaves little doubt about its true purpose: it was built not to share power between civilians and the military, but to extract resources. In this arrangement, political elites are tasked with containing public anger while the military centralizes economic wealth, leaving the population disenfranchised and in disarray. The country is in turmoil because of this extraction model. Poverty climbs year after year for a simple reason that the system was never built to run a functioning society.

They jailed a playwright for defending people who had been jailed unjustly.
Václav Havel helped found a small group of Czechoslovak citizens who did one thing: document political trials. In 1979, the communist regime arrested him for it and sentenced him to four and a half years for subversion.
He was sent to a labour camp, fell ill and was moved to a prison hospital, and his requests for release were refused. He refused to ask the regime for a pardon. When he developed pneumonia in 1983, the regime finally suspended his sentence on health grounds.
He walked out under police surveillance and went straight back to work. They arrested him again and jailed him again. He kept going.
In 1989, the country rose. Havel helped lead the movement that negotiated the communists out of power, and the man they had jailed as a subversive was elected president.
Even Czechoslovakia's communist regime released a prisoner whose health had broken down.
My mother, @DrUzma_KhanPK, has a replaced heart valve and rising blood pressure in Kot Lakhpat Jail, and she has not been allowed to see her cardiologist. Her brother, @ImranKhanPTI, is in solitary confinement, and his blood pressure has reached 192. He needs to see his doctor immediately.
Prison, illness and surveillance did not stop Havel. They will not stop this movement either.
