People are criticizing President Trump for using 'Commercial Diplomacy', using business deals as foreign policy cornerstones.
But the loudest critics work for companies that outsourced to China for 30 years despite human rights abuses.
They traded values for profit margins in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Pakistan.
Moral outrage is selective when applied to politics but not to paychecks.
When businesses pursue cheap labor in authoritarian states, it's 'global trade.'
When presidents pursue economic partnerships with the same states, it's 'abandoning values.'
This inconsistency isn't about principles. It's about power.
