In 2013 Peter Obi was demolishing the billboards of Labour Party. He did not allow them to use state own venues for their campaigns. Now the same Peter Obi is forming brand new. 😂

In a strong demonstration of growing political acceptance and grassroots support, the APC Grassroot Mobilizers have staged a rally to pass a resounding vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, the Bayelsa State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, and the APC State Party Chairman in recognition of their leadership, commitment, and remarkable contributions to the development of Bayelsa State.
It also reinforces the APC’s growing grassroots presence, unity, and political momentum in Bayelsa State, as supporters reaffirm their confidence in the leadership and vision of President Tinubu and other key stakeholders.
The message is clear: grassroots support remains strong, confidence is growing, and the APC is building momentum in Bayelsa State.

Let the numbers talk.
Peter Obi won 34.39 percent of the votes to get re-elected as Governor of Anambra State in 2010. Nearly two in every three voters went elsewhere.
Thirteen years later, the same Anambra gave him 95.24 percent of its votes in the 2023 presidential election.
Think about that contrast.
Then pause.
For context, Willie Obiano was re-elected in 2017 with 55.43 percent. Prof. Charles Soludo was re-elected in 2025 with 72.37 percent. Of the three APGA governors who sought a second term in Anambra, the one now marketed as the gold standard of governance posted (by far) the weakest number.
So if anyone tells you Obi scored 88 percent of the South-East votes in 2023 because of his competence and capacity, ask them one simple question. Where was that competence and capacity when he was governor? Why did it not show in his numbers when Anambra people had the chance to renew his mandate?
That is before we get to the testimonies of those who watched him govern. Many of the same people later discovered he had been an excellent governor. The discovery came late. It arrived only when he was about to run for president.
What changed?

When I walked into the hall yesterday and saw the young men and women of the City Boy Movement @CityBoyMedia, Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria @RelaxTIFN, and other youth groups gathered from across our country, I saw something that reminded me why I sought the presidency of this great nation.
I saw Nigeria. I saw its energy, its courage, its determination, and the future we are working to build together.
Many of you have stood with me through difficult moments. You have defended your convictions, carried our message into communities, and continued to believe in the promise of a greater Nigeria.
I listened to your stories with immense pride and gratitude. You reminded me once again that the greatest strength of our nation lies in its people, especially its young people.
There are words I do not say often enough, and yesterday, I wanted you to hear them directly from me.
Thank you. Thank you for believing. Thank you for standing with me.
I remain committed to building a Nigeria worthy of your faith, your sacrifices, and your aspirations.
Together, we will deliver the future you deserve.
