We’ve moved on from Anakinposting. Bart is a sensitive young man and we fucking hate Lisa Simpson now.

UNI IS GETTING BETTER

We couldn’t visit Uni today because the vet was closed. But yesterday, his catheter was removed, and he proudly showed us, “Look! I can pee on my own!” What a strong boy! 💪
Tomorrow, we’ll get a call from the vet to find out if he can come home. We’re so nervous but excited!

Recent scenes from our Nairobi Nursery. Which is your favourite?
1.Nothing gets between Poppi and her milk
2.Notty, right at home amid the orphan herd
3.Arthi, our little bull, can be such a show-off!
Every animal seen here is an orphan, rescued and brought into our care so they can experience the love of a family. When they are grown and ready, they will return to a protected landscape where they can roam wild, just as they were born to do.
Meet the herd and find out how you can adopt an orphaned animal in our care for yourself or as a gift for someone special: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/o…

Day 3 of visiting Uni.
He’s eating all his food now and showing everyone that he’s the strongest! Even the vet says he’s so strong that he should be able to come home on Friday. Yay!!
Please pray that Uni can come home on Friday
Uni’s surgery was a success!
We visited him a little while ago, and even though he had just woken up from anesthesia, he was already full of energy! The vet tech told us they rarely see cats like him. That’s our Strongest!
We’ll visit him again tomorrow. Thank you so much for your kind words and support 😭

Meet Miriam, Maggie, Mary, Mueni, and Annastacia.
From picking bougainvillea blooms to carefully drying and packing each petal, these meticulous women from our local community are at the heart of Sheldrick Botanicals, which supports communities and conservation in Tsavo, Kenya.
They bring our petals to life, ready to become confetti for weddings and celebrations around the world. Their work takes patience, care and a real love for what they do. And if you spend time with them, you’ll often find them singing as they work, bringing a special sense of joy to everything they do.
