Drawing should always be part of the process, lets your really get to know the subject even if it’s something you’ve already done in digital. Plus drawing is awesome and fun!
Drawing letters by hand is a good idea for all designers IMO.
And it doesn’t matter if you ever get “good” at it!
Slowing down, drawing every curve and angle by hand teaches you the nuances of every letter better than anything else - and that will make your typography way stronger.
Plus, it’s relaxing and good for your brain to not look at a screen for a while ☺️
