Eunice Stocking lost her husband and two sons at their gunpowder factory in Glastonbury Ct in 1777 when it exploded.
Stocking Mill provided high grade gunpowder for General Washingtonās troops required for the cannons.
She didnāt start a Mothers Against The Revolution or Mothers Against Gun Powder groupā¦.
No, she borrowed money and rebuilt the factory and became a Merchant of Death to the Redcoats. She ran the factory and continued to supply the best powder until the war was won.
