Larry Hogan was the best governor that the state of Maryland ever had. That does not mean we have to live in the past. Let him go his way and let’s move forward to Recover Maryland!

Chao Wu made blatantly false and defamatory allegations against another candidate unsubstantiated by audio and video recordings as well as other witnesses. This is disgraceful behavior from anyone, let alone an incumbent politician. He must suspend his campaign.

A police officer was murdered in the line of duty. Chao Wu refused to vote, and her killers got a shot at walking free. The Second Look Act lets criminals ask a judge to shorten their prison sentence if they committed their crimes before age 25. When an amendment came up to keep cop killers out of it, Wu had one job. Just one. ❌ He ran off the floor and refused to VOTE. Think about that. Your family's safety is on the line, and Chao Wu is worried about second chances for cop killers. Would you want the man who killed a police officer back in your neighborhood? A vote for Wu is a vote AGAINST your own safety. Don't let him get away with it.

This photo captures the MCEA Apple Ballot, the beguiling smiles of: -neglected and dilapidated school buildings -an out of control #MCPS budget rubber stamped by an unaccountable Board of Education, - school shootings since the removal of SROs - high schools functioning as open air drug markets - and grade inflation leading to a questionable high school diploma Parents and children frown as a result of their “work.” I will be your independent voice as we turn things around together, for the benefit of our children through: - high academic and behavioral standards - the return of school discipline, and - parental involvement at every level. Maryland is projected to collect more revenue in fiscal year 2028, but the increase won’t be enough to close the state’s projected $3.1 billion budget shortfall, according to new estimates released Thursday. The state is projected to collect roughly $28 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2028, a 3% increase from fiscal year 2027, according to data from the Maryland Board of Revenue Estimates, which helps set the state’s budget expectations. Much of the increase is driven by gains in taxes on residents’ personal income, business profits and the sale of goods. Read more: bit.ly/4hIZ1SS 📸: Kevin Richardson, @baltimoresun

Fitzgerald Mofor says D9 incumbents abandoned Damascus. Then their campaign tent showed up looking like it had survived three tax hikes, two maintenance backlogs and a Maryland transportation budget. Even the tablecloth tried to flee. 🐈 cantoncat.com/2026/09/12/d9-…

🚨Fitzgerald Mofor descended upon “God’s Country” seeking mortal votes. Lower costs. Fix roads. Support schools. Public safety. He's apparently capable of carrying Annapolis back to the district by hand. The shoulders have their own zoning district. cantoncat.com/2026/09/11/fit…

Here canvassing in Ellicott City, Maryland, and the things I’m hearing are breaking my heart. 5th-generation Marylanders are thinking about moving to North Carolina because they can no longer endure Gov. Moore’s tax and spend policies and failure to lower costs. This isn’t one isolated conversation. Maryland continues to rank near the bottom nationally for net domestic out-migration. Marylanders are moving because of the following: • Climbing property tax bills • Crushing utility rates • Relentless MVA fee hikes • Year after year of budget shortfalls • Stagnant economic opportunity Gov. Moore and Annapolis Democrats do not care about lowering costs. They only care about acquiring political power at the expense of Marylanders. Every day I’m fighting so hard for you. I’m going to end the status quo in Annapolis. Under my leadership, we will enjoy lower taxes, lower utility costs, and good governance. It’s time to take back our state!

Folks, tomorrow is July 1st, and every Maryland commuter can expect an increase in gas taxes. To make matters worse, making a trip to the MVA is a nightmare when factoring in potential fees for Maryland commuters. - Car Registration Fee: $241 to $383 - Vehicle Emissions Inspections: $30 - Vehicle Excise Taxes: 6.5% - Gas Tax Rate: 46.6 cents per gallon - Vehicle Tire Surcharge: $5 per tire - Title/Certificate of Title Fees: $200 Unfortunately, we’re not even getting a strong return on our investment. Maryland ranks 46th in the nation in roadway and highway development. Yet, 52% of the Transportation Trust Fund spending goes to public transit, and only 26% of spending goes to roadways and highways. When I get to Annapolis, I’m going to make sure that there are caps on funding that goes to public transit and make sure that those taxpayer dollars go to infrastructure improvements on roadways and highways. We will make smart and strategic reductions in spending to ensure that Maryland commuters see relief while enjoying much-needed infrastructure improvements in our state!

The truth is that Gov. Tax Moore has been abysmal. It's why he has just a 48% approval rating. Larry Hogan had a 77% approval rating because he understood how to lower taxes and fees and build bridges. Make no mistake, my opponents are just as unpopular as Tax Moore, and they will vote to increase taxes in the future. We have a large budget deficit, and they are against reducing spending. Affordability isn't a political slogan to me. It means so much more, and I intend to fight extremely hard to not only make Maryland more affordable but also provide a pathway to make the American dream more attainable. I reject the MDDEMS socialists' ideology and plans to make Maryland a quasi EU state. In Annapolis, I will be focused on lowering utility costs and reducing taxes and fees. My name is Fitzgerald Mofor, and I am running for District 9A in the Maryland House of Delegates. If you live in my district, please vote for me. If you do not live in 9A, please consider making a donation. Join me in this effort to #RestoreMaryland, and let's take back our state. God bless the United States of America! Mofor4md.com

The level of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) in the Maryland state government is alarming. Recent examples of fraud, waste, and abuse in Maryland total over $4.7 billion. • $3.5 billion was inadequately documented and lacked the necessary federal support across 8 agencies. • The State Highway Administration improperly charged $358 million in unauthorized expenses to federal projects. These expenses are likely to be funded through the general fund balance or the Transportation Trust Fund (TTF). • The Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) allocated $125 million for direct voucher payments to vendors, bypassing standard procurement procedures and lacking sufficient fund-tracking controls. • The Division of Unemployment Insurance did not implement adequate oversight procedures, resulting in $760 million in uncollectible unemployment benefits. Now more than ever, Maryland urgently needs a statewide Office of the Inspector General. The Office of Legislative Audits (OLA) is inadequate. Ongoing failures in state agencies persist despite the release of OLA reports and their recommendations. This shows that the current oversight mechanisms are ineffective in addressing systemic issues and enforcing accountability. This has led to continued mismanagement of funds and fuels a lack of public trust in government operations. A health and education Office of the Inspector General (OIG) will not be sufficient. We need a statewide OIG that can effectively eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) while utilizing subpoena power and the authority to recommend criminal charges, ensuring real accountability. I recently testified in favor of establishing a statewide Office of the Inspector General (OIG). This office will be crucial in eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA), ensuring that taxpayers receive meaningful cost-of-living relief, and promoting effective governance in Maryland.

Folks, my name is Fitzgerald Mofor, and I am running for District 9A in the Maryland House of Delegates. My story begins as a young child playing Little League football for the Saint Peter's Panthers, practicing on Olney-Sandy Spring Road in Olney, Maryland. I also played against the Damascus Cougars, a team from a town I now call home. I developed a deep passion for football. I loved the physical contact and the chance to compete, and I truly appreciated the camaraderie among players, all united by one goal: to dominate our opponents. After my athletic career and graduate school, I realized how radical Maryland has become and the strong need for ideological balance in the legislature. Full transparency, I had no idea what an 'inclusive curriculum' or 'gender-affirming care' was until I got back home to Maryland. I was perplexed by Democrats in Annapolis prioritizing culture-war issues instead of focusing on pressing kitchen-table concerns. It was baffling that Maryland continues to grapple with perpetual deficits, significant tax hikes, and soaring energy costs that burden middle-class families. I spent many sleepless nights trying to understand why Maryland would pass legislation like HB161, which prevents opting out of certain curricula, while students in rural communities, such as those attending Damascus High School in my district, are stuck in a school that hasn't been renovated in 50 years. The only silver lining is that Maryland voters are coming to the conclusion that Maryland Democrats are out of touch. When canvassing thousands of doors, I have talked to families who are tired of our lawmakers prioritizing cultural grievances over pocketbook issues that matter most to working families. That will change when I am elected as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 9A. I urge you to listen carefully and consider my unique approach. In Annapolis, I will prioritize practical solutions over culture-war issues, unlike my opponents who supported HB161. In Annapolis, my primary focus will be to introduce legislation that provides practical solutions to the financial burdens Marylanders have faced over the past three years. I will work to lower car registration fees, decrease tolls on specific highways, reduce income taxes so you can retain more of your hard-earned money, and eliminate MVA (Motor Vehicle Administration) fees that continue to burden Maryland commuters. Our office will make sure that farmland in western Howard County is preserved while we upgrade infrastructure in rural areas and ensure that rural communities like Damascus finally receive the much-needed funding to upgrade the schools students attend. Reduced taxes, lower energy costs, safe schools, and upgraded infrastructure are essential goals for our community. It is time to restore common sense and good governance in Maryland and District 9A. Thank you for your support, and have a wonderful Sunday!

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my friends at the Central Baltimore County Republican Club for the opportunity to address their audience. We had a packed house at the delightful Ryleigh's Oyster House, where I discussed strategies for reclaiming Maryland from the extreme left-wing elements in Annapolis. Maryland is currently under the influence of extreme left-wing ideologies. Recently, the legislature passed a controversial bill that prohibits charging juveniles as adults, even for serious offenses like first-degree assault. As a result, a juvenile in Maryland can inflict permanent harm on a victim with a firearm and will not face adult charges. The 2026 Maryland Session concluded without lawmakers in Annapolis passing any bills that would provide meaningful tax and fee relief for working-class families. Additionally, the legislature ended the session without approving a BRFA bill aimed at addressing our long-term structural deficit, which is projected to reach $4.1 billion by 2030. Now is the time to stand up against the socialists in Annapolis who are driving up our energy bills with their green energy mandates and failure to produce reliable sources of energy. Their soft-on-crime prosecutorial philosophy, along with their relentless efforts to seize our hard-earned wealth to fund socialist initiatives, must be opposed. We had a productive discussion about our political strategy, focusing not only on winning District 9A but also on securing victories in competitive House districts as part of our initiative to 'Flip Maryland Red: One House District at a Time.' Now, more than ever, we are committed to protecting our state and defending Maryland against the influence of Leninist ideologies in Annapolis. Our strategy for achieving victory is clear, and we invite you to join us in our mission to #RestoreMaryland and bring effective governance back to our beloved state.

At the eleventh hour of Sine Die, Democrats rammed through SB141 to chill free speech and SB255 to undermine election outcomes. The Speaker shut down debate and silenced dissent. They passed zero real tax or fee relief. My opponents even voted against gas tax cuts and overtime deductions. Meanwhile, families face $1,000 BGE bills and businesses pay $60,000 a year, and yet Democrats call a $12.50 savings per month “relief.” They raided the Rainy Day Fund, used revenue from ratepayer energy tax hikes (SIEF), cut $125M from the disabled community, and still left Maryland with a multibillion‑dollar deficit in coming years. Republicans offered real solutions, including cutting VEIP fees, reducing energy costs by withdrawing from RGGI, eliminating the gas tax, ending the EmPower program, improving school safety, and creating a statewide OIG. Democrats blocked all of it. If you’re ready for change, Republicans are ready to lead. Bring balance back to Maryland at the ballot box.
