The words we use matter.
They shape how we understand child sexual abuse and exploitation and how we act to end it.
When language is unclear or inconsistent, it leads to:
🔵 weaker laws
🔵 poor data
🔵 harm being dismissed
That’s why we are shifting away from saying “online child sexual exploitation and abuse” to “technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse.”
This reflects how abuse today can shift between online and in-person spaces and via different technologies including AI-powered tools.
This #SaferInternetDay find out about #DisruptingHarm's work to end tech-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse across 25 countries.

Not “barely legal” women. Not “junior women”. Not “young women”.
Children who did nothing wrong and who deserve justice.

Stop protecting predators.
Also… release the files.
