Not content with building flat pack furniture for the “home office” already this weekend, I also constructed a Lego cake for @FreeCakesUK
Such a joy to see free cakes for children getting big support with the work of @LaurasBakery #Liverpool. If you’re further afield & want to support your local community, see if there’s a @FreeCakesUK group to join, or take a leaf out of Laura’s book & start your own #InItTogether

It’s time we put party politics aside and worked together to find a long-term sustainable solution to child food poverty in the UK.
Implement the 3 asks.
I appreciate you all ♥️
Our wonderful groups continue to bake free birthday cakes for children across the UK every day of the year. If you know a child you might otherwise go without a cake, check the map to find your nearest group: 🎂 🍰 freecakesforkids.org.uk #fsm @MarcusRashford #childpoverty

We’re open for referrals!!! We’re delighted to share that we can start taking referrals for cakes needed from 6th September, so if you are a partner organisation looking for support please do get in touch! We can’t wait to roll our sleeves up and get back to doing what we love ❤️

Fortnite is a very popular theme right now, and this #birthdaycake by #volunteer Cathy is brilliant! Huge thanks to family support at Community Vision #penge for this referral. #charity #baking #bromley

It’s too hot for buttercream, but that hasn’t stopped our bakers!
St Edwards church #Mottingham arranged a family picnic for foodbank users, and asked if we could help. Here are just some of the 240 #cupcakes we made for them!
We hope they have a wonderful time today! ☀️

#birthdaycake 480. The family asked for a 2 shape, and the support worker who referred them knows this little one loves Cars. So #volunteer baker @LuMorganC made this themed cake with handmade McQueen for him. Great work! #bromley #stmarycray #charity #orpington #baking

We do like seeing our bakers’ work-in-progress!
Short-notice request from @FreeCakesBrom. So an unexpected afternoon making a little Lightning McQueen. I mean, god knows what the rest of the cake is going to look like, but this is a start! 😂
