Kuenssberg was the tip of the spear of BBC's political assassination of Jeremy Corbyn. BBC's 'reputation' for 'impartiality' was comprehensively and terminally trashed by her. Those of us who witnessed it will not forgive or forget.

Laura Kuenssberg out & about promoting her book
Will #GMB ask her about the time when, as the BBCs political editor, she deliberately mispresented Corbyns views on shoot to kill in order to smear him & why she thinks she wasn't sacked for lying?

Short 🧵@SkyNews pulled this bs before. This is a typical tactic of UK press especially regarding minoritsed targets. They cite something insulting, offensive, disgusting said by a wyte person and insist that the minoritised person react to it.

Quite revealing that Labour will work happily with the Tories or even Reform but are determined to turn Green Party opposition to a genocide into a local political football.
Andy Burnham. Keir Starmer. The Labour Party still feels very Peter Mandleson.

🟢 EXCL: Understand Green cllrs on Havant Council have submitted a motion of no confidence in the Labour leader after Labour pulled out of the power sharing deal over the ZIR motion. The Havant Greens had said they recognised problematic elements of the motion but denied it was anti semitic and said they could not ask the party leadership to reject it as it was voted for democratically by members.
Havant was ran by a “rainbow coalition” of Labour, Greens & LDs.

Reform - 9
Labour - 7

Blair lied to the UK public & manufactured consent for the killing of 1million Iraqis.
He was quoted “I am proud to be a friend of Israel” in 2006 during the settler colony’s Operation Summer Rains killed 400 Palestinians in Gaza.
And this “Blairite” accuses others of racism?

then launches into "The BoD has declared the Greens to be a racist party"
The BBC is, quite brazenly, operating on behalf of Israel at this point.

The literature is all over the place in this area. Yes, pressure applied to the neck, particularly centrally, is inherently risky. But when people talk of 'sexual choking' they are referring to a whole array of behaviours, from light "fantasy choking" to full on judo choke holds.

First they got rid of third spaces, then they banned them for social media, and now teenagers aren't even going to be able to talk to their friends while playing Fifa? Does the government *want* young people to kill themselves?

Correction: Bonnell's fans started a political organization to launder his reputation by performing publicity stunts including paid debates with personalities like George Santos and conducting statistically irrelevant door-knocking operations.
Steven Bonnell, despite all of the slander and everyone's attempts to destroy him and his life, had 40k peak viewers, after his community did canvassing efforts is several states to help get dems elected. This dude is tenacious and will never stop fighting.
Hasan Piker, with millions of followers, and a streaming platform solely catered to himself. Had 230k peak viewers but struggles to get 100 people to canvas for the people he's backing.
Hasan could average a million viewers a stream, but he will always have less political impact than the people at DGG. Because he is always playing "political commentator", but lacks the skills and knowledge to actually be a real one.
Good on Hasan for being Twitch's Political Taylor Swift.

One of the biggest dangers for Democrats right now is centrists making up a fake story about why they won and then telling themselves that until they believe it and lose again. That's a big part of what happened to Biden.

The UK Home Office is promoting mass surveillance despite documented cases of innocent people being falsely accused, humiliated and banned from shops.
They’re messaging is intended to normalise mass surveillance under the pretext of catching criminals.
There’s a massive difference between DNA matching and facial recognition. Facial recognition produces false positives and allows governments to identify and track people through cameras in public spaces.
British retailers including Sainsbury’s, Home Bargains, and B&M have already falsely accused innocent shoppers of theft using facial recognition systems. People have been publicly humiliated, removed from shops and banned from stores they regularly visit. Some have even been forced to provide personal identification to prove they’re innocent.
Imagine the police forcing everyone to submit their DNA and checking it every time they leave home, walk down a street or enter a shop.
That’s the level of surveillance the Home Office wants people to accept through facial recognition. Innocent people are already suffering the consequences, yet the government wants to expand its use across public spaces.

Erm this MP is implying kissing could be interpreted by a court as an illegal act under her deliberately vague amendment to the law.
Yesterday she also suggested people shouldn't be having oral sex due to the tiny risk of cancer.
Unfit to be an MP. Insane. Recall.
Replying to @CobaltCherry
That is exactly what should be left to courts and experts to prove. All legislation requires interpretation alongside the facts of the case and the intention of the law. This is designed to ensure that harmful practices are discouraged.

facial recognition hasn't successfully once caught a criminal in its trials, and instead has gotten thousands of false positives
Facial recognition technology has been the biggest breakthrough for catching criminals since DNA matching, already helping police take thousands of dangerous criminals off our streets.
The benefits are clear, so we must and will expand its use.
But we must also ensure that its use is fair, safe and proportionate. That’s why we are introducing new laws to ensure the use of this technology is watertight, so the public can have confidence that these tools, which are vital to our safety, are used responsibly too.

Britain now has a speech kill switch, and as of Monday it’s armed. Large platforms must keep a crisis censorship plan they don’t have to publish, ready to fire the moment speech regulator Ofcom’s definition of a crisis is merely “likely.” That definition covers local events, regional events, and even events overseas.
The content in scope includes “foreign interference,” which can apply to information that is entirely true if it’s presented the wrong way. Ofcom admits political speech will get caught and calls the extra false positives “proportionate.” Police get a dedicated line to the platforms, and they don’t need a court order to use it. The reviews afterwards happen in private too...
