Liverpool went into the summer needing a midfielder, a right-back, a right winger and arguably a left-back, so naturally they proceeded to sign *none* of these players. One of the most baffling transfer windows I can remember

Liverpool currently need a right back, centre back, left back, defensive midfielder, right winger, and short term cover for Ekitike. And that’s before the likes of Jones and Gakpo leave. The inactivity this summer is shocking. Setting another manager up to fail.

Van Dijk is being hung out to dry. At 34, he’s forced to play every minute with no rotation, no defensive depth, and absolutely no protection in front of him. Of course the level drops that’s on the people running the club.
FSG, Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards have completely failed to build a balanced squad. No centre-back cover. No proper defensive No.6. Basic, obvious flaws left unaddressed.
This isn’t bad form it’s negligence. And if it continues, this already humiliating season will spiral even further 😳
