A congresswoman just told Elon Musk "See you soon." So let's compare résumés. Because that's really what this is about. Elon Musk moved to North America at 17. He built Zip2, then PayPal, then put almost everything he had into two companies every expert said would die: a rocket company and an electric car company. In 2008 both nearly did. He went all in anyway. Today SpaceX lands orbital boosters and flies them again like airliners, something NASA, Russia, Europe and China considered impossible or uneconomical for 60 years. It launches most of the mass sent to orbit by all of humanity combined. It's the reason America stopped renting seats on Russian rockets to reach its own space station. Starlink brings internet to Ukrainian trenches, Amazon villages and disaster zones. Tesla forced every carmaker on Earth to go electric. Neuralink is letting paralyzed people control computers with their minds. And to the "billionaires don't pay their fair share" crowd: in 2021 he paid over $11 billion in taxes. Widely reported as the largest individual tax bill in American history. One man. One year. His stated goal is to make life multiplanetary so that consciousness doesn't die on a single rock. You can think that's crazy. He has delivered on enough "crazy" that betting against him has become a bad habit. Now Yassamin Ansari. Stanford, international relations. Intern for Nancy Pelosi. Climate advisor at the UN. Phoenix City Council. Won her congressional primary by 39 votes. A whole career spent inside institutions that run on other people's money. Never built a product. Never had a customer. Never faced a market. The day after her party won Congress, what's her top priority for day one? Cheaper housing? Energy? Competing with China? No. Pause advanced AI. Ban "superintelligence." The bill she backs freezes any model trained above 10^25 operations until a brand-new cabinet-level Department of AI gets staffed and writes its rules. Violators face up to 20 years in prison. Let that sink in. The industry that, by one Oxford Economics estimate, drives about a third of recent US growth, frozen by people who have never trained a model, while waiting for a federal agency that doesn't exist yet. Beijing couldn't have written it better. And yes, Elon has warned about AI risk for a decade. That's exactly the point. His answer to risk was to build, compete and put better systems in the arena. Hers is a committee, a freeze and prison terms. One looks at a hard problem and builds. The other looks at a hard problem and asks for a permit to stop everyone else. Then the cherry on top: her reply to the man who built the rockets is "See you soon." Coming from someone whose only real power is the ability to stop others from building. This is the real fault line of our time. Not left vs right. Builders vs administrators of envy. A system that selects people who have never created anything and gives them authority over the people who create everything. A political class that turns resentment into legislation and calls it "safety." I'm French. I've watched this movie. Europe wrote the world's most ambitious AI rulebook. Now count how many of the world's top AI models are European. I genuinely hope humanity grows out of this model. A civilization where its most mediocre managers summon its most extraordinary builders with a "see you soon" is a civilization working against itself. "Brave New World" is right. Except the dystopia isn't the machine. It's the committee.

Every GOP strategist, consultant, and candidate should be forced to participate in a role-playing exercise this morning. Your name is Bob. You’re a 49-year-old blue-collar worker in Ohio. You’ve always struggled to make ends meet. The good jobs were all shipped to China and the few remaining pay a pittance wage, undercut by endless illegal labor. You’re a 3x Trump voter because you believed he would finally make America great again. You put your son through Ohio State. He graduated cum laude in computer science. You couldn’t have been prouder. After months searching, he landed an entry-level job at Microsoft. Beneath his qualifications, but a good start for a smart kid. Then he got laid off. That same month, Microsoft applied for 150,000 more H-1B visas because it can’t find qualified Americans. Your son has spent six months back in his childhood bedroom, sending hundreds of applications without landing an interview. On TV, Trump boasts about the greatest economy in history and how many women and minorities are finding jobs. You decide a father-son steak night might cheer him up. Gas is $4.50 a gallon. Filling your truck costs over $100. At Kroger, ribeyes are $30/lb. You settle for hamburger, even though 70/30 ground beef still costs $10+. At checkout, a fat black woman is screaming at the cashier because her EBT will only cover most of the filet mignon and lobster in her cart. You think to yourself how the Iran war has made everything expensive, but at least we’re stopping their nuclear bomb. You weren’t even sure where Iran was before you googled it after we first bombed them in March. After dinner, you take your son to the county fair. Half the people aren’t speaking English. Virtually none of the crowd looks like you. You’re forced to leave early after a “teen takeover” turns violent. A foreign born judge pledges none of them will go to jail. Back home, you turn on the TV. Vivek Ramaswamy is lecturing the crowd about American mediocrity and why Ohio needs more foreign talent. Your son grows upset. You change the channel. Now a Republican surrogate, the daughter of a governor or wife of an elderly billionaire, explains that young White men are the REAL welfare queens. They’d rather play videogames in their parents’ basements than work. Your son says nothing. He just goes back to his childhood bedroom. You turn off the TV. Then your neighbor starts blasting reggaeton and cracking open Modelos. He brought his cousin’s family from Mexico to help with all the minority-business contracts his construction firm keeps winning. Tonight they’re celebrating his nephew’s birth, the family’s first birthright American citizen. You sit alone in your living room. You worked hard, paid taxes, obeyed the law, and raised your son to do everything right. You voted Republican again and again because you believed somebody in Washington would finally fight for you. Instead, your wages are stagnant. Groceries are unaffordable. Your community is unrecognizable. Your country is fighting another foreign war. And upstairs, the son you sacrificed everything for is lying awake in the bedroom he slept in at twelve, wondering what the heck he’s even supposed to do with his life now. Every time you turn on the TV, the Republicans you elected are either congratulating themselves or explaining why you and your son are the problem. For ten years, they told you America’s future depended on your vote. Now you aren’t even sure America has a future worth defending. The Republican Party needs to answer one simple question this morning: You’ve spent a decade demanding Bob’s loyalty. You’ve given him stagnant wages, unaffordable groceries, another foreign war, and a son who did everything right but can’t find work. And when they complain, you call them lazy, entitled, and racist. What possible reason have you given Bob and his son to vote Republican? Do you honestly think you deserve their vote?

Things in Western Europe will improve when a few hard realities are understood: 1. Europe has no God-given right to be wealthy or stable. Things can & will decline and fall apart if not maintained and adapted to new realities. Things that worked in the 1970s may be counterproductive now. 2. Energy is the basis of the economy. Without it, nothing else matters. While efficiency will be important, any economy where energy is scarce will inevitably be one that struggles 3. Not all cultures are equal. Some create prosperity, some lead to misery, some are outright evil. If Europe doesn't accept this, the cultural basis of its previous success & prosperity will be destroyed forever 4. Have kids, or die out. In the long term, few things matter this much. You can't create a European future if there are no Europeans left for it, and as the experiences of the last few decades show, non-European immigration simply makes Europe culturally less European - and doesn't magically make these people culturally European. 5. The state can not - and should not - save every individual from him/herself from him/her bad choices or ineptitudes. The idea of a nanny state which can ensure that everyone always live comfortably with minimal effort & contributions 100% of time is not feasible. The socialist promises of 30 years of wealthy retirements for everyone and Europe being able to take on endless low skill immigration were lies. 6. If a society has no way for ambitious & creative people to get rich from working hard, everyone will get poorer because of it. The hard truth is that much of our economic future depends on businesses being built & transformed by ambitious & sometimes ruthless individuals. Not everyone is able or willing to do this, and without them, there is no one to employ others and no wealth & growth to tax. But if businesses & wealth are seen solely as an evil force to be taxed into oblivion, they will go elsewhere. 7. In some cases, the best way for society to deal with a criminal is to lock them up and throw away the key. A small percentage of humans are ticking time bombs - low IQs, high aggression potential, psychopathic traits, socialised into criminal structures or a culture of lawlessness. Society can't fix them. They go in and out of court rooms and across Europe states, NGOs & social workers waste billions of hours & Euros to try & fix the unfixable. Not least because of mass immigration from dysfunctional societies, our legal systems & high trust societies built on principles such as the benefit of the doubt & correction via socialisation are overwhelmed by the amount of aggressive young men with no interest to contribute to society. All of this is fixable. But the first step is accepting reality.

The Republicans that have had majority control of both sides of Congress and the White House for nearly 2 years are 100% responsible for whatever happens in the midterms. It isn’t the pollsters like @honestpollster who are doing their jobs. It isn’t the media reporting the polls (that’s @jsolomonReports job too). It is the Republicans that have made decisions to: - Hold pro forma sessions in the Senate to prevent the President from making recess appointments. - Continued to support mRNA while failing to repeal Obamacare. - Refused to have hearings to refute the corrupt J6 Committee and other horrific attempts to weaponize justice. - Allowed the DOJ to hold absolutely no one accountable for COVID, J6, election fraud, continually pushing riots and other lawless actions in America, the Epstein rape ring, or any of the politically related fraud that happens daily in Washington DC all while weaponizing the justice system against innocents like Brian Cole Jr (see @SteveBakerUSA for reporting). - Failed to pass any real election reform. - Failed to stop and even started new foreign wars. - Allowed the economy to continue to tank for regular people while their wealthy mega-donors thrived. - Sent people like @dbongino and his team of sellouts to attack anyone that was speaking out to try and get the GOP to change directions (which might have prevented this mess). When we wake up on Wednesday understand this - the results of these midterm elections are not the fault of the voters - it is 100% squarely the fault of people we elected to do a job and their absolute failure to do that job. I hate where we are but I voted for something different than what was delivered - and so did millions of others so quit shooting the messenger.

If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa

I've spent a great deal of time going through @DataRepublican's incredible work here, so I thought I'd drop an easy-to-understand primer. Your life is a mistake if you're not following this woman! The Illegitimacy Playbook: A Simple Primer A group of people who spent their careers deciding when other countries’ governments were no longer legitimate just decided to run the same playbook at home. After USAID got shut down, the democracy office didn’t go away. It rebranded, kept the same initials, and started treating the United States like one of the countries it used to “help.” Most of the people involved still think they’re the heroes. The recordings show they also spent a lot of time privately writing the rules for when the current government stops being legitimate and sketching what should replace it. Convenient. Where This Comes From - USAID had a democracy office called DRG. Its official job was helping other countries with elections, courts, media, and activist groups. - The approach came from Serbia in 2000 and was later used in places like Georgia and Ukraine. - After USAID was closed, the same people formed the Democracy Renewal Group (still DRG). Their new goal is to apply that model inside the United States through a project called Renew American Democracy. The Plan in Plain English - Block: lawsuits, protests, and refusal to cooperate aimed at the Trump administration. - Bridge and Belong: control the conversation and try to win people over. - Build: use any crisis as the chance to redesign how American government works. They call it a “refounding moment.” - One of the main people, Danielle Reiff, has said they can take a breakdown and turn it into major structural reform. The recordings also show work with DSA-aligned groups on ideas that go beyond the current Constitution. Who Handles the Protests and Lawsuits - DRG does not run the daily protests and legal fights. That job goes to a secretive group called the United Democracy Alliance (UDA). - UDA is described as a large network that includes No Kings, Indivisible, MoveOn, 50501, and many other big activist groups. It has no public website, member list, or normal filings. - One organizer says UDA is Erica Chenoweth’s project. Chenoweth is the Harvard professor known for the idea that mobilizing about 3.5 percent of the population can topple a government. - A group of roughly 1,600 former military officers, intelligence officials, and diplomats called National Security Leaders of America (led by retired Rear Admiral Mike Smith) is credited with actually running the operational side. They track “red lines” and run a situation room. Their lawyers told them to stop recording meetings because of subpoena risk. Other people in the network kept recording anyway. DRG works with a group called Renew to Thrive, which accidentally published hundreds of calls and thousands of documents. The Private Red Lines - Working groups quietly wrote their own rules for when the federal government has crossed into illegitimacy. Invoking the Insurrection Act against protesters is one of the examples they discuss most. - These rules were not voted on or debated in public. - Their plans for what comes next include states refusing to help federal officials and governors calling a “Third Continental Congress.” - The idea is that everyone is already organized so the response is ready the moment they decide a red line has been crossed. Who Actually Decides When to Move - The mid-level groups are not the ones making the final call on mass mobilization. - The files point to a group called the Election Safeguards Response Network (ESRN) as the one that decides when to activate the larger alliance. - That trail leads to Norm Eisen. ESRN is funded under an organization called State Democracy Defenders Action. - Eisen is described as sitting on several important levers and functioning as a key decision-maker, though the posts say he is part of a small, still-hidden group of elites rather than acting alone. The Bottom Line - Thousands of organizations and billions of dollars are involved. Most people in the network believe they are saving democracy. - The same people who spent decades deciding when foreign governments had lost legitimacy wrote the test for the United States in private and planned what comes after. Put it all together and the picture is straightforward. A network built by people who specialized in regime change abroad has spent the last couple of years quietly preparing the same toolkit for use at home. They defined their own private red lines for when the federal government becomes illegitimate, pre-organized the protests and legal fights, lined up former national security officials to run the operations, and sketched plans for what a replacement government should look like. The people at the top of the hierarchy decide when the moment has arrived. Everyone else is told they are defending democracy. The recordings just happen to show them talking about structural reform, a new founding, and the conditions under which the current system no longer counts. That is the primer.
🚨🚨 THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK / THE DEMOCRACY FILES: A PRIMER 🚨 I will be using this thread to track all drops, so bookmark it. I spent most of yesterday backing everything (now 312 gigabytes) up in various sources and getting the materials out to others. I also produced an AI video (below) to explain the whole thing to others are not on 𝕏 - feel free to distribute. Here's the primer: USAID, the foreign aid agency, had a democracy office. Inside the agency, it was called DRG. Officially, DRG administered "democracy assistance." They'd go inside countries they thought were sliding into authoritarianism and help the opposition there. That assistance included election monitoring, judicary support, independent media, and civil society building. You may have heard the term "color revolution." The model comes from Serbia in 2000, where trained student activists brought down Milosevic with the help of Western governments, after sustained protests. With the help of USAID's democracy office, this model was implemented in many other countries to topple governments: Georgia's "Rose Revolution" in 2003, Ukraine's "Orange Revolution" in 2004, and many more. Then last year, DOGE shut down USAID. But the USAID democracy office didn't stop. They formed a group called the Democracy Renewal Group, the same initials as their office (USAID Democracy, Human Rights, Governance). Their goal: apply their own playbook to the United States itself. This goal became a plan, called Renew American Democracy (RAD). It invoked the "4 B's" framework. Block - use lawfare and protests to make life harder for the Trump administration. Bridge & Belong - control dialogue and win people over. The final and most important B is Build. Build means redesigning the American government itself, and the crisis is the opening. In their own words: "We can take that breakdown moment and leverage it for a big structural reform, you know, refounding moment." - Danielle Reiff, DRG lead. Calls show DRG working alongside DSA on ideas of creating a different government, one that does away with the Constitution itself. DRG does not run the Block operations. They hand it to UDA, the United Democracy Alliance. One organizer calls it a "huge galaxy": lawsuits, street protests, non-cooperation. They list No Kings, Indivisible, MoveOn, 50501, and many other mega-activist NGOs among their members. Another organizer calls UDA Erica Chenoweth's project. Chenoweth is the Harvard professor behind the three-and-half-percent rule of regime change: get that share of a country's populace onto the streets, and historically, the movement wins. The UDA is very "hush-hush." They have no website, no roster, no filings. Then come the red lines: things the Trump administration could do, such as calling the Insurrection Act on protesters, that would mean that the federal government, in their words, "crosses the threshold into illegitimacy." Nobody voted on those lines. There was no public debate. These red lines were developed within secretive working groups, and in a paper addressed to governors and staff. In the words of Reiff/DRG: "So that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a Constitutional crisis, like everyone's already pre-organized. And so Mike Smith actually said, he goes, oh, you guys have the day after tomorrow plan." Cross a line, and the paper's options include states refusing to lend their resources to federal officials, and governors convening what it calls a "Third Continential Congress." Running the UDA's Insurrection Act working group: Rear Admiral Mike Smith (RET) of National Security Leaders of America (NSL4A). NSL4A is also credited with operationalizing UDA, the blocking operations. NSL4A consists of about 1,600 ex-officers, spies, diplomats. They're turning red lines into indicators and running a situation room to monitor them throughout the midterms and beyond. The NSL4A's lawyers told them to stop recording meetings in case of subpoenas. But the rest of the network continued to record. DRG works in conjunction with Renew to Thrive (R2T), which ended up accidentally publishing 400+ calls and thousands of documents. These calls and documents were never meant for our eyes, but it's them, on tape. Thousands of NGOs and billions of dollars are involved in this endeavor. Most of them believe they're saving democracy. The problem is that people who spent their careers deciding when other countries' governments had lost their legitimacy wrote that test for ours, in private, and planned for what comes after. Who decides when your government is legitimate?

🚨 BOMBSHELL FROM JAPAN — THEY CAN’T HIDE THIS ANYMORE Professor Robert Clancy just dropped the receipts: A massive Japanese study tracking 20 MILLION people found that ALL excess deaths were in the vaccinated group. The unvaccinated group? ZERO excess deaths. And here’s the killer detail: mortality surges exactly 3 months after every booster — with peak deaths hitting around 100 days post-vaccination. The pattern is undeniable. In my opinion, they can no longer suppress the information on the COVID vaccine. The data is out. The cover-up is crumbling. The world needs to see this. W.H.G

No Kings explained for people who think they're fighting fascism. You're standing in a crowd on Saturday. You look around and think yeah. No Kings. This is what democracy looks like. Bro. You're holding a sign made by a communist billionaire who lives in Shanghai. You live in a constitutional republic. Elections. Term limits. A free press that spent four years calling the president a fascist without one journalist being arrested. The modern left's definition of fascism: You love your country? Fascist. You want to enforce the border? Racist. You think parents should raise their kids? Bigot. You want to know who's voting in your elections? Jim Crow. Being patriotic is fascism to the modern left. But every country has borders and enforces them. 176 countries require ID to vote. That's the definition of a country. But the Democratic establishment told you otherwise. And you believed them. Congress has a 15% approval rating. 80% of Americans disapprove. 97% of incumbents got re-elected. Chuck Schumer. 46 years. Longer than Stalin. Steny Hoyer. 45 years. Longer than Mao. Mitch McConnell. 42 years. 5x more than Napoleon. Nancy Pelosi. 39 years. Longer than Henry VIII. Maxine Waters. 35 years. Longer than Mussolini. Bernie Sanders. 35 years. Triple Hitler's entire reign. Trump. 5 years and 3 months. Won the popular vote and the electoral vote. But Trump is the king. Okay buddy. You don't hate kings. You hate kings that aren't yours. And they have you in the streets carrying their water. The Democratic Party installed a president without letting you vote. Biden quit on a Sunday. By Tuesday your queen was crowned. No primary. No debate. No ballot. First time since 1968. Three days before your march every Senate Democrat voted against photo ID to vote. During COVID you carried a vaccine card everywhere like a hall pass from the government just to eat at a restaurant. But getting a birth certificate or waiting two hours at the DMV to prove you're a citizen before you vote? That's oppression. The Democratic Party is pro illegal immigration. Counts non-citizens in the Census. Census determines congressional seats. More non-citizens means more seats means more power. No voter ID means no way to check. That's how you keep power without wearing a crown. Biden built a censorship machine. Pressured Facebook to suppress true information and admitted it in writing. Censored scientists. Censored doctors. Censored JOKES. The Biden White House told Facebook to remove "humor and satire." They literally went after people for making fun of them. UK does it better tho... Everything they censored turned out to be right. They just outsourced the silencing to Silicon Valley. And it doesn't stop at speech. The extreme left justifies taking children from families. Six thousand schools rewrite children's identities without telling parents. And the State has the right to intervene. The Hitler Youth did this. Mao's Red Guards did this. The Soviets built statues of a child who reported his own father. Same playbook. During Covid, your bakery got shut down. Church closed. You couldn't hold your dying mother's hand at the hospital. But thousands packed together during BLM to burn Minneapolis and THAT was essential civic engagement. Obviously. $2 billion in damage. 25 dead. 2,000 cops injured. 20 states burning. VP Kamala promoted a bail fund for the rioters. No investigation. No hearings. January 6. One building. Few hours. 1,000 prosecuted. Two years of televised hearings. Kings decide which violence counts. The left decided. Charlie Kirk spent his life walking onto campuses asking for honest debate. He was assassinated. CSIS terrorism database. 2025 is the first year in 30 years that left-wing attacks outnumber right-wing. Yet no one brings this up. 75% of liberal students say preventing a speaker from talking is justified. 27% say violence is acceptable. Liberals who went to Trump rallies: "I never felt unsafe." "The experience changed me." They say. Conservatives who show up on liberal campuses get screamed at, blocked, and assassinated. One side talks. The other side screams. The Party for Socialism and Liberation marched Their stated purpose in their own words: "Revolution." Not reform. But Marxism. 500 groups. $3 billion in revenue. Pre-printed signs. The signs were ready before you were even angry. AND its all coming again .... if the left gain any power. VOTE RED RED RED on November 3rd

A guy I know in the trades works at one of Ontario's smaller specialized steel mills. He's one of the people who had to rebuild it. After NAFTA, the American company that owned the mill decided to shut it down. They didn't just lock the doors and walk away. They sent workers in with torches and had them cut the production lines apart, piece by piece, so nobody could ever start them up again. The mill wasn't broken. It could still make steel, and that was exactly the problem. If a Canadian buyer picked it up and fired it back up, it would compete with the American plants across the border. So they made sure that could never happen. The whole mill was later sold for scrap, and guys like him spent years rebuilding it from the ground up, slowly, at enormous cost, just to get back what we already had. All of that so an American company could shift production home and never worry about a Canadian competitor again. That is sabotage. And is par of the course in a free market neoliberal economic system. Foreign profits are treated as more sacred then hundreds of high quality industrial jobs. When I was at Stelco, I got talking with a supervisor who told me a story I've never forgotten. Stelco had done the research and development on special alloys for car doors. It was stronger steel, which meant automakers could build better-engineered cars that were lighter, using less metal, faster and more fuel-efficient. That's real industrial knowledge, the kind a serious country guards with its life. Then US Steel bought Stelco in 2007. According to the people who were there, those alloy recipes went south. Canadians did the R&D, and then Americans walked off with the results. You don't have to take the shop floor's word for it, either, because the public record is damning enough on its own. US Steel made promises to Ottawa about jobs and production as a condition of the takeover, and it broke them so badly that the federal government took it to court. By 2013, steelmaking in Hamilton was shut down. By 2014, the company was in creditor protection, and the workers, the pensioners and the city of Hamilton were left holding the bag. You'd think our country would learn something from that. We didn't. In 2024, we let another American company, Cleveland-Cliffs, buy Stelco. This fall it announced it would lay off up to 500 workers in Hamilton and Nanticoke, and when Ottawa objected, the CEO said he was ready to take Canada to court. Same story, new owner. When push comes to shove, a foreign company's loyalty is to its own plants back home. Of course it is. That's what foreign ownership means, and the only people who ever seem surprised by it are our politicians. And it doesn't stop with buying our companies. Sometimes foreign capital doesn't even bother with ownership. It just pays someone to stand in the way. Most of our oil goes to a single customer, the United States, at a discount, because every attempt to build our way to other markets gets buried in protests, lawsuits and delays. Vivian Krause has spent years following the money behind those campaigns, and much of it leads back to American foundations. Alberta's public inquiry found more than a billion dollars in foreign money flowing to Canadian environmental groups. So American money pays Canadian activists to keep Canadian oil landlocked, and American refiners get to buy it cheap. Nice arrangement, if you're American. Which raises the obvious question: why do our politicians keep letting all this happen? Some of them are too stupid to understand what's going on. But the bigger reason is that the people running this country have never really seen industry as something to build. To the Laurentian class, industry is something to skim. They look at Canadian industry the way an extractive feudal lord looks at a peasant's harvest. Over decades, they've built an entire economy of progressive make-work on top of it. Credentialed consultants, compliance officers, diversity offices, environmental reviews that run for years and produce nothing but paperwork and legal fees, sustainability reports nobody reads. None of it is tied to results. A mill doesn't make better steel because it filed another impact assessment, and a factory doesn't ship more product because it hired a diversity coordinator. That was never the point. These jobs exist to employ the Laurentian class's own people, reward its allies and keep its grip on power. It's patronage dressed up as virtue. And our industry pays for all of it. Every Canadian company carries a stack of indirect fiefdom taxes, from environmental payments that work more like extortion than protection, to the HR and DEI overhead, to the consultants hired to navigate rules written by other consultants. Every dollar spent feeding that machine is a dollar not spent on equipment, on workers or on research. Then the same people turn around and ask why Canadian industry can't compete. Compare that with China. Say what you want about it, but China cares about building things. It judges its officials by what gets built. We judge ours by what gets announced. Our system rewards siphoning, so siphoning is what we get, and the progressives drain the wealth out of our industry year after year and call it governance. When Chinese officials get caught siphoning they get executed. Being a corrupt official in China is very dangerous. If you were hoping Mark Carney would change any of this, he hasn't. He can't, because he doesn't even perceive the problem. Carney is a banker, and to a banker every problem looks like something a bank can fix. His answer to a hollowed-out industrial base is more loans, more funds and more financing vehicles. What he won't touch is the environment that's strangling our industry in the first place: the fiefdom taxes, the regulatory maze, the foreign ownership. He isn't putting out the fire. He's pouring more fuel on it and calling it "investment". The best example is his enthusiasm for a defence bank, as if rearming a country mostly comes down to financing government procurement. But a military isn't a balance sheet, and you can't rearm a society that no longer believes in itself. For generations, the Laurentian class has poisoned the cultural legacy of this country. They taught Canadians to be embarrassed by their history, to apologize for their ancestors and to treat their own nation as a problem to be managed. Then they act surprised when young Canadians feel no real attachment to the country they're being asked to defend. You can't fix that with a loan. You fix it by giving people a country worth believing in again, and that starts with taking back control of what we build. So ask the obvious question. Why are people demoralized? Why are young Canadians dying of fentanyl in the same towns their grandparents built? Look at what was done to those towns. The jobs that paid a living wage are gone, the kind that let a man who showed up and worked hard buy a house and raise a family. They were shipped south or cut apart with torches. The communities themselves have been transformed by immigration at a pace nobody ever voted for. And the homes on their streets have been inflated far beyond their reach, so an entire generation could be bled dry in one massive wealth transfer to baby boomers and existing homeowners. Then Ottawa wonders why the Forces struggle to recruit. Defend what, exactly? A country that took your job, priced you out of your hometown and remade your community without asking you? What the Laurentian class has done to this generation is worse than losing a war. At least a defeated country knows who its occupier is. That means cutting off the foreign money first. Remember those American foundations bankrolling the fight against our pipelines? That ends. No more foreign funding for Canadian NGOs, full stop. These groups can raise their money from Canadians or not at all. And if you take foreign money to physically stop Canadian industry, chaining yourself to the bulldozers on a pipeline site, you go to prison like any other industrial saboteur. Dress it up in whatever cause you like. The cell is the same size. Next, we sharply restrict foreign ownership of strategic industry. Where foreign owners have already gutted our assets, we nationalize them and settle the account. They get what the asset is worth, minus everything they owe us: the broken promises, the subsidies, the pension holes and the cleanup bill. For some of them, that comes to zero. Let them hold the bag for once. Nor is that some radical new idea. Conservatives built Ontario Hydro. Quebec nationalized its power companies under the slogan "maîtres chez nous," masters in our own house. Both founding peoples of this country have done it before, and only the Laurentian class pretends it's unthinkable. From there, we protect what we invent. Stelco's alloy recipes should never have been allowed to leave the country, and stealing Canadian industrial secrets should be treated as the crime it is. The Ministry of Industry to map every factory in Canada and what it can produce, quickly and without a decade of consultations, because we can't rebuild an industrial base that we haven't even counted. And we make sure no one ever takes a torch to a Canadian mill again. If a company wants to gut a mill's capacity, it asks permission first, and the Crown or a Canadian buyer gets first refusal. Close a plant if you have to. But you don't get to destroy one. Above all, we need to put builders back in charge. That means scaling up our engineering programs and putting engineer-minded people at the head of our companies instead of lawyers and consultants. We design our economy around technical advancement and efficient production, and we reward the people who actually make things. Do that, and Canada would kick everybody's ass. Instead, look at what we have. Foreign owners torch our mills and walk off with our research. Foreign money pays activists to block our pipelines. A domestic elite taxes what's left to fund its own patronage. And a banker prime minister thinks the cure is more credit. That is the record of the Laurentian class. They inherited a country that built a railway across a continent and steel mills that could compete with anyone in the world, and they turned it into a fiefdom with a branch plant economy. It's a total failure, and they should be held accountable fore it.
Foreign capital should not be able to buy our companies and kill them to remove competition against their industries back home.

What the West Still Doesn’t Get It: Communism’s True Core: The Systemic Lie Most people in the West think they understand communism. They picture bread lines, gulags, failed five-year plans, and the collapsed Soviet Union. They treat it as a discredited economic theory – an experiment that proved that abolishing private property doesn’t work. Case closed, history moved on. This misunderstanding may be the most dangerous intellectual failure of our time. Communism was never primarily an economic system. Economics was the surface. Beneath it lay something far more insidious: a total, systemic, institutionalized commitment to lying. Not occasional dishonesty. Not spin or propaganda in the ordinary sense. Something deeper – a civilizational war against truth itself, waged through every institution, every classroom, every newspaper, every conversation, until reality itself became negotiable and the lie became the air people breathed. The Words We’re Missing The Polish language, forged by decades of living under this system, produced words for this phenomenon that English simply cannot match: Zakłamanie [zah-kwah-MAH-nyeh] – a state of total, pervasive, socially embedded falsehood, a condition in which an entire society is saturated with lies so thoroughly that truth becomes almost inaccessible. Obłuda [ob-woo-dah] – a deep, performative hypocrisy, the gap between what is proclaimed and what is actually practiced, the mask worn so long it begins to feel like a face. These are not words for individual liars. They describe a system – a mode of social organization built on organized mendacity, where the lie is not the exception but the foundation. English has no single word for either concept, and that linguistic gap is not a coincidence. It reflects a gap in experience. Cultures that did not live under communism lack the vocabulary because they lack the wound. And because they lack the vocabulary, they struggle to recognize the thing when it reappears in new clothing. The Continuity: Communism, Leftism, Wokeism What we call wokeism today, or the broader radical left, is not a new phenomenon. It is the same operating system running on updated hardware. The specifics have changed – instead of the proletariat, we have marginalized identity groups; instead of bourgeois class enemies, we have racists and transphobes; instead of socialist realism, we have DEI statements. But the deep structure is the same. That deep structure is this: truth is not discovered, it is assigned. Reality is not something to be understood honestly but something to be narrated strategically. Language is not a tool for communication but a weapon of power. And anyone who resists the approved narrative is not simply wrong – they are dangerous, and must be silenced, shamed, or destroyed. This is zakłamanie in its modern form. This is obłuda wearing a human rights badge. The same movement that insists men can become women will insist, with equal fervor, that questioning this is an act of violence. The same institutions that claim to champion free inquiry systematically suppress dissent. The same people who invoke tolerance as their highest value are among the most intolerant forces in public life. The contradiction is not accidental – it is structural. It is the system working as designed. Why the West Still Doesn’t Get It People who grew up in freedom tend to assume, at some level, that bad actors know they are lying. That somewhere behind the ideological performance, there is a cynical operator who privately acknowledges reality. This assumption is wrong, and it is why Westerners consistently underestimate what they are dealing with. The totalitarian lie, at its mature stage, is not cynical. It is believed. Or rather, it creates a condition in which the distinction between belief and performance collapses entirely. People learn to say things they do not believe so fluently, and for so long, that they lose access to what they actually think. 1/2

As Christa Pike, a woman who tortured a girl to death and took a piece of her victim’s skull as a trophy, receives life saving medical treatment following a botched execution, keep something in mind: many states in this country will not give medical treatment to a baby who survives abortion. In fact several states have specifically repealed laws requiring treatment for infants born alive after an abortion. And every single mainstream Democrat in the country opposes any law to protect infants who survive abortions. So this condemned murderer, who earned her execution through her own choices, is getting more humane treatment than infant children who were given a death sentence through no fault of their own. And every Democrat — every single one, no exceptions — empathizes far more with this murderer than with those babies.

Power selects for a specific personality type, and it is not yours. F.A. Hayek spelled this out in 1944. In a centrally planned system, the people who rise are not the most competent or the most honest. They are the most willing to exercise force against strangers, the most comfortable with contradiction, and the most skilled at coalition-building through favors rather than merit. Government filters for the bad ones from the start. The mechanism is straightforward. Political power means controlling resources you did not earn. Capturing that control requires outcompeting rivals who have no ethical constraints. A principled candidate refuses to promise contradictory things to different voter blocs. An unprincipled one does it without blinking. The unprincipled one wins. Repeat this selection pressure across hundreds of electoral cycles and you get the U.S. Congress in 2026: a body where the average member has held office for over a decade, raised millions from interested parties, and delivered almost nothing measurable to the people who voted for them. Bureaucracy compounds the problem. Once entrenched, state agencies attract people who want authority without accountability. You cannot fire most of them. The FDA, the TSA, the Federal Reserve all function this way, staffed by individuals whose career advancement depends on expanding the agency's reach, never on serving you efficiently.

On this week’s episode of Trump: The Presidency, Season Two The US and Denmark entered into an agreement about the defense of Greenland, which included a new permanent US military presence there. For every Libtard that swore on CNN that we were going to go to war to get Greenland, we offer two words, “suck it.” For the folks at MSNow who swear there’s no military reason for us to want to be there, we suggest they spend some time with a globe. The phrase, “Only Nixon could go to China,” is now replaced with, “Only Trump can secure Greenland.” Poverty hit the lowest level on record in the United States, according to the Census Bureau. As it turns out, the solution to poverty isn’t NGO’s or throwing money at it…it’s building a strong economy. The President got justifiably tired of CNN, Politico, and MSNow doing nothing but cranking out misinformation, so he’s not allowing them in the White House. The uber-entitled “journalists” immediately screamed about their First Amendment rights, something they haven’t cared about for years when it came to the woke cancelling people. For those that feel this is unfair, here’s a highly abbreviated list of lies that CNN alone has pushed against Trump and conservatives: The Russian collusion hoax, tariffs will crash the economy, Joe Biden is sharp as a tack lie, the Jussie Smollett hoax, the NASCAR noose hoax, the very fine people hoax, border agents whipping illegals distortion, the bat-in-a-wet-market COVID lie, exaggerating COVID deaths, the Hunter Biden laptop hoax, Trump telling people to drink bleach lie, Trump fell on stage in Butler Pennsylvania when he was shot, and let’s not forget the lie about five people being killed during the January 6th protests (which they called an insurrection.) If this is journalism, we could all do with less of it. Let’s also remember that this summer alone they refused to air an address to the nation by the President. Now they are suing, claiming they have a right to be in the White House. Funny, they didn’t seem to have a problem when Obama said he was going to boot Fox News, or when Biden cut the number of press credentials from 1,417 to 975. If it seems our team is harping on this, it’s because we hate CNN and MSNow. ICE officers arrested Helda Araceli Mendez-Merida, an illegal alien from Guatemala, living in Indianapolis. Her charge? Voting illegally in national elections. While the Democrats claim this never happens, there sure have been a lot of arrests on that charge in the last three months. It’s almost as if someone is lying… Brother-humper Representative Ilhan Omar of the Caliphate of Minnesota introduced legislation to divert $100 billion from ICE and immigration enforcement to "invest it into communities across the country that have been impacted by the Department of Homeland Security’s heinous operations." How about diverting those funds to people who have been harmed by the open borders policy of the Biden/Harris administration? How many people have been killed, injured, stolen from, or lost their businesses because of this uncontrolled influx of people? We really can’t deport Omar fast enough. A Venezuelan illegal immigrant was shot in Austin, Texas and, you guessed it, the blue-haired liberal white women immediately spun up protests with calls that he not be deported. Here’s a safety tip. When the police give you an order, follow them. It’s amazingly rare that law enforcement shoots first. Having your attorney lie about you not getting healthcare, being forced to sleep on the ground with a bullet in your neck, etc, only scores you points with elderly liberal white women who are awaiting their chance to serve on the next Lindsey Clancy jury. Meanwhile the whack-a-doodle Canadian government set a new record. They are killing more people with assisted suicide than the US has gun deaths per year. Keep going, maybe you can surpass our abortion numbers next year! In a war against Canada, they would exterminate themselves long before facing American troops at this pace. At the UN General Assembly, the Iranian President claimed that Iran was a victim of the US. “We were cooking up a new batch of enriched uranium, you know, like everyone does, and the next thing we know we are being bombed.” He went onto claim they have sunk the USS Abraham Lincoln five times, mostly because it had Abraham in its name. His speech was so passionate that France surrendered. Absolutely zero f*cks were given Iran by the nation’s of the world. It’s hard to pity someone who has been chanting “Death to America” since 1979. Trump’s response: “We are going to hit them so hard, Taylor Swift is going to write a song about them.” Kamala emerged from her stupor and stumped in Michigan for the upcoming Senate election. She said, “DEI is an attack, by definition, on maternal care.” Our show’s producers were tempted to run a laugh track on the episode right after she said it, but our mothers told us not to make fun of alcoholics or people suffering from mental illness. Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in the US for a three-day visit. Chuck “Megatard” Schumer went out saying that Trump had better not let up on trade restrictions with China—the same restrictions that he opposed eight months earlier. This also means his staff has already written his statement claiming that Xi walked all over the American President in terms of trade. Their predictability is actually boring at this point. In the dullest plot twist of the episode, a federal judge ordered the administration to let MSNOW, Politico, and CNN back into the press pool. We hope they are given folding chairs in the back of the press conference room. What new thing will Gavin Newscum do to get attention in the coming week? Will Joe Biden’s upcoming memoirs be little more than a coloring book? Will the Left ever learn that if you come into the country illegally, you’ve broken the law? The answers to these questions and more, next week. Same MAGA time. Same MAGA channel.

250 -500 billion/year in fraud according to the GAO. A trillion$ every 2-4 years, by the government's own account. Any effort to deal with it is fiercely resisted by both parties. And much spending is fraud even when it's done correctly - "defense," education, agriculture, etc.

15k years ago the Baltic, Bering, North and Red Seas didn't exist. The oceans rose hundreds of feet in about 8K years. Fossil fuel use in the Stone Age must have been incredible.

We've been doing this now for more than ten years, and people still keep falling for the framing trick. They. Are. Not. Media. Outlets. They are lawfare activists. CNN was literally an integral part of the Russia collusion hoax. To be clear, that means they were not just reporting on it or egging it on. They. Were. Part. Of. It. They were the ones who seeded the original story as part of Comey's operation to launder the fraudulent Steele dossier into legitimacy. Politico, too, is part of the lawfare machine. Remember that story about the 51 intelligence officials supposedly claiming that Hunter's laptop was a Russian plot? Well, they didn't actually say that because they wanted deniability. They merely suggested it. Politico then ran the headline claiming they had actually said it, and we were off to the races. With MSNBC, the constant spewing of lies is so extensive that one hardly knows where to begin. But given the hysterical reaction to the White House ban, people seem to have already forgotten that, among all the other things MSNBC did, it provided landing pads for virtually every major lawfare operator. They were literally rewarding the lawfare people for doing the lawfare, giving jobs to John Brennan, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Andrew Weissmann, Frank Figliuzzi, Mary McCord, and many others. CNN did it too, just less extravagantly, mainly rewarding James Clapper and Andrew McCabe for their lawfare. So even if there were some right to be inside the White House, which there is not, they long ago forfeited any claim to special treatment. But the main point is much simpler. They are not news organizations. Do not buy into the false framing.
The WH media ban, even if you hate the targeted outlets, is a bad idea & bad precedent. It’s the sort of thing he does when he doesn’t feel like things are going well politically. Beyond his hardcore loyalist base, it achieves nothing and is exhausting.
