To all the AI-hating bots out there: I ran an experiment. I made a full game to the best of my ability without any AI, and now I’m making one with AI. Go support the non-AI game — it didn’t do that well. Links in bio.
I follow a lot of indie devs. Anyone else under 10 steam reviews, Post your game (under 5$ im poor), I'll buy it and tell you what i think!
Can someone please steal my game idea? I need to see that its possible to finish! And any extra attention to it would be nice!

Feels like a gambling addiction: Being a game dev working on a long term AI fps game. Every day i fight the urge to burn another 100$ for a steam page of something i could have an agent whip up in a few days.
Maybe I should be taking those chances.
Any indie devs know what happens if you let your steam release date get within 2 weeks of the date and you don't have a game ready to release?
I nearly let some arbitrary date i chose months ago sneak up on me.
I've been quietly working on Dream Ocean every waking hour for the past year
And it's starting to payoff
Still a long way to go
So I decided to postpone it until March, to have time to properly test and make the best game I possibly can
Here's a new trailer:

Tim is right. Steam's AI disclosure rule is abhorrent.
I recently shipped an AI-assisted game, and that label doesn't help anyone pick a game. It's a target. It tells the angry mob exactly where to send the review bombs.
Nobody discloses which engine, which brushes, or which plugins they used. AI gets singled out for one reason: so devs can be punished for using it.
Replying to @mattworkman
Forcing developers to write a political statement to be used against them by the hate mob they’re helping organize is abhorrent.
I just had an interesting thought. When i judge the quality of a picture, i find it important to know if it was painted or taken with a camera. paintings are more impressive but i don't think it changes whether i would hang it on my wall. I wouldn't have painted Airgap at all...
Sometimes the lack of trust for people on the internet (x) inhibits what would otherwise be a positive interaction. With so much to lose how can i possibly justify clicking on random links or showing any trust to a stranger?
A FPS Roguelite, Sounded like a great idea because theres not a lot of them out there. But now i'm struggling with decisions such as "Does the cat come back for the next play through after you save it? What if it gets shot?"
@blu3322 @VistaLargaGames Due to popular request Here is the cat. I assure you this is an intense gritty shooter. The cat is not picture in the actual level here.
