Jaylen Brown and LeBron James are Sixers. Still feels crazy. What a comeback with everyone contributing! #sixers

“The ’90s were watered down.”
Here’s who Michael Jordan actually beat in the Finals:
1991 Lakers: 58–24
1992 Blazers: 57–25
1993 Suns: 62–20, Barkley MVP
1996 Sonics: 64–18
1997 Jazz: 64–18, Malone MVP
1998 Jazz: 62–20
367 combined wins.
An average of 61.2 wins per opponent.
Two teams led by the reigning league MVP.
Jordan went 6–0 against them and won Finals MVP all six times.
Maybe the ’90s only look “watered down” because Jordan kept beating elite teams when it mattered most.
Dominance has a funny way of making great competition look ordinary.

BREAKING: The NFL has launched an investigation into the #Eagles handling of Jalen Hurts after he was allowed to play and fly with a blood clot.
The NFLPA is pushing for severe punishment, with Philadelphia potentially facing the loss of multiple draft picks.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
There are no reports of an NFL investigation or NFLPA disciplinary push regarding Jalen Hurts. Philadelphia informed the league of Hurts' diagnosis prior to Week 5, and he was cleared to play by team doctors and London specialists. espn.com/nfl/story/_/id… inquirer.com/eagles/jalen-h…
Jalen Hurts haters welcome to the McKee era- 11 yard sack, near interception and a 3 and out. #eagles
Thank you @LaneJohnson65. You are forever knighted in Philadelphia.

Wow this is crazy. The NFL needs to get rid of this insane bodyweight rule.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The early flag in the video was for defensive holding on #92 (Zach Sieler), not roughing the passer. A separate flag was thrown later for the body-weight RTP on Chop Robinson. Holding was declined.

Happy to see @WGAWest #DGA @Teamsters @MPTF @IATSE @NatlAssnAttysGn have protections built into the @warnerbros @ParamountMovies merger settlement BUT @AGOWA @SeanAstin why are there no protections for @sagaftra?! @Variety @DEADLINE @THR variety.com/2026/film/news/p…
@sagaftra President @SeanAstin and Lead Negotiator @DuncanCI have chimed in and frankly this statement is HIGHLY disappointing
Here is the text from the settlement which does not guaranteee @sagaftra any protections. Leave it subject to POSSIBLY being selected as one of the nameless “other unions that work in production of films”
Keep @JalenHurts name out of your mouth! All he does in win win win no matter what! #eagles

I used to be a staunch defender of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. It was, in my opinion, the best of new Trek, firmly grounded in its rich heritage and still figuring out a way to try something new, but this season is absolutely horrible. Complete train wreck. WTF?

How the NBA continues to make scoring easier - YouTube youtube.com/watch?v=6IPXSqOh…

The amount of carrying in today’s game is a joke when comparing to even 20yrs ago let alone 40 or 50 yrs ago.
The NBA did really want to make scoring easier.

Kobe Bryant told the truth: “The rules of Michael Jordan’s era were tougher than those of LeBron’s era, and demanded a higher level of skill.” 🔥
“Today’s NBA is a finesse, small-ball game with extremely little physical contact. The flagrant-foul calls you see so often now make me sick.
I prefer the old-school physical basketball I grew up watching. Back then you had to beat a defender with a hand on you (hand-checking), so you needed the skill to drive both ways, change direction, post up, and play in the mid-range.
If you took it all the way to the rim, you could get knocked on your ass.
That’s why the game required more skill then. Now you aren’t even allowed to touch anybody, so anyone can get to the basket easily.
That’s why I think physicality should be brought back, including hand-checking. It would force players to develop real fundamentals and enough ball-handling to get past defenders. Compared with today’s NBA, European basketball is still more physical.”
— Kobe Bryant 🐍
NBA fans around the world 100% agree with Kobe. Coming from someone who played under both sets of rules, those words are plain fact.
Michael Jordan walked a far harsher path than the league LeBron played in, and set the greatest records in history.
He is the true GOAT.

Charles Barkley has always been hated by LeBron, his fans, and his media because Chuck has never ever bought any of the BS LeBron or those around him have tried to sell. He's always called him out for being a frontrunner who picks his teams and his coaches, for being a whiner who has to play with all the best players, and for being a quitter who looks for ways around the struggle yet wants the adoration of those who are greater than him and never ran from the struggle.
The best thing about Chuck over time is that he's never been one that LeBron's people could place a phone call to a silence. The truth hurts like a mf and Chuck has always told the truth about LeBron.
