AL West #Athletics @Athletics My Preseason Rank 30❌ I'll call this one a miss though it wasn't as that bad. Harris lead the team after I said his ceiling was about 10 saves. He was better than that. Alvarado was the guy I put my stock into and at times in May and Sept that looked like an accurate call but he never really took over. I am not that mad about this as it was a sleeper but it certainly didn't work out like Baker did. #ChaseTheFight @astros My Preseason Rank 19❌ Another miss here as Abreu did lose the job to Hader as expected but Hader was much better than I predicted. I said I wouldn't take Hader where he was being drafted and he lived up to the bill. Abreu also was a disappointment pretty much until Hader returned. I mainly recommended to avoid Hader due to his injury and he proved me wrong while looking like the guy from prior to the injuries. #RepTheHalo @Angels My reseason Rank 25✅ This is another tough one since my prediction was to avoid everyone. Ben Joyce ended up leading the team with five saves in the month plus he pitched. Romano and Yates had three and four. I am going to call this one somewhat of a win. I had predicted Yates to lead the team but once they sucked it was obvious they would try and trade him. I still dont think Joyce will ever be a stud closer. #TridentsUp @Mariners My Preseason Rank 1❌ Pretty much everything I said here was wrong. Andrés Muñoz started slow getting mauled in some non-save situations and his ERA never recovered. He also was nowhere near the guy we saw in 2025 which was what I was predicting. Jose A. Ferrer was also ass which was surprising to me. After how he looked at the end of 2025 I though he could be a very good high leverage guy. Muñoz lead the team with 29 saves but he was not the number one closer so I am taking an L here. #AllForTX @Rangers My Preseason Rank 27❌ This another split one since they really didn't have a closer going into the season. I was sounding the alarm on Robert Garcia and he sucked as expected. I did recommend Chris Martin who pitched like he was 40, got injured, and eventually got cut. Alexis Diaz never even made the roster for an extended period of time. My call to avoid wasn't awful but I am going to give myself an L since I was calling Jacob Latz "Low Leverage Latz" when they started using him late. He went on to pick up 30 saves and prove me very wrong. #FantasyBaseball #Saves #Bullpens #MLB #Closers

AL Central (wrap up) #WhiteSox @whitesox My Preseason Rank 21❌✅ This was a miss in rank and a decent hit on analysis. My thought on Domínguez "If I have him on any roster my draft went poorly." I will say I didn't think they would pull Domínguez from the job (they did) and I also didn't think Taylor would ever get the job which he didn't. Domínguez still led the team in saves with 12 so to the Taylor fan boys he didn't take over. I did not have Bryan Hudson listed as a sleeper but he put together a solid year. I am pretty happy with what I predicted preseason and all year here. #GuardsBall @CleGuardians My Preseason Rank 9❌ I was a little low on Smith. He certainly warranted a top 70 pick if you choose to go that way. It never seem like he was pitching as well his numbers but he was tied for the league lead in saves, had a ton of strikeouts, and an ERA under two. Really good season and I was wrong as he is one of the top closers in the game. #RepDetroit @tigers My Preseason Rank 8❌ Another one that I was off on. Kenley Jansen never did lose the job but he certainly did not have as good a season as I had hoped. For one the rest of the bullpen was trash and that hurt him and the team but he also pitched more like his age. He is a guy I think gets hurt by the batters ability to challenge since he is pretty much nibling with one pitch. He didn't reach 30 saves and wasn't close to my bold prediction of 40. This was a miss. #FountainsUp @Royals My Preseason Rank 14❌✅ Rank was off here but the analysis was accurate for the start of the season. I had Carlos Estévez on the no draft list which was a smart call and common in the industry. Lucas Erceg was my next up and for about a month and a half he was the closer. My deep sleeper was Alex Lange who took over for Erceg for a period of time until he fell apart. So I did hit the two top guys for saves in the bullpen. I did not have any mention of Steven Cruz who picked up eight saves near the end of the season. I think my preseason prediction was pretty good here. #MNTwins @Twins My Preseason Rank 29✅ I am fine with my prediction here as well as I said "The team isn't going to be good so this is an only if your desperate play and remember that the beating your ERA will likely take might not be worth rostering anyone." In the end they had 15 different players record saves and the team leader Yoendrys Gomez was DFA'd by the Rays on May 2. I did recommend him early so I was happy about that until about two weeks ago when the wheels fell off. #FantasyBaseball #Saves #Bullpens #MLB #Closers

AL EAST (Wrap Up) #Birdland @Orioles My Preseason Rank 17 ✅ I had said to avoid Helsley and that was pretty spot on. The injury bug was too much for him too overcome. I had Kittredge as my Deep Stash so that worked out well too. No mention of Garcia as he emerged as a streaky late inning man losing the closers job at one point but gaining it back at the end of the season. #DirtyWater @RedSox My Preseason Rank 6 ✅ Not a tough one here as Chapman had another tremendous season. I had predicted he would eclipse last years total of 32 saves which he did hitting the 35 mark. After the teams slow start and really not pitching the last week and a half of the season he had to battle to get there. My preseason rank is pretty accurate as he falls into that block of very good closers. #RepBX @Yankees My Preseason Rank 5 ✅ I was a little more vague with this prediction on David Bednar. "I'm avoiding but I am betting on Bednar being a top option this year" but he did end up in range of my preseason rank. Ultimately he was a top option this year and while I didn't roster him those who did got rewarded. He certainly proved he could pitch in the New York pressure. #RaysUp @RaysBaseball My Preseason Rank 26 ❌✅ This is another one that I am very happy about. Obviously the rank was completely wrong but in my breakdown I said I was avoiding Jax and Cleavinger and looking at Baker and Uceta. Well Uceta never made it off the IL and Baker had the chance early and ran away with it. Those following know I have been on him since they traded for him last July and this year was no different. This was easily my best call of the year targeting Baker as a late round pick or first week FA pick up. #BlueJays50 @BlueJays My Preseason Rank 7❌ As good as the Baker call was my "I love Hoffman" was terrible. Obviously he lost the job fairly early in the season and my preseason stash of Yimi Garcia never got off the IL. I never thought junk baller Rogers would closer and he didnt. I was also probably a little slower on Varland due to holding out hope on the Hoff. This was certainly a big miss on my part and Varland put together the season I was hoping Hoffman would have. #FantasyBaseball #Saves #Bullpens #MLB #Closers

Bullpen Notes🗒️(9/27) Don't worry. I got one more Notes in me lol #Natitude Will Dion pitched the 4th and 5th with the game tied at 4-4 and he picked up the win. Riley Cornelio pitched a scoreless 6th and 7th and he was credited with a hold. With a 6-4 lead in the 8th Jack Sinclair allowed a walk and got a couple outs. He would pick up a hold. Erik Tolman came in and got the final out after walking a batter. Tolman would return for the 9th and pick up the save allowing a two out single. Tolman has seen the majority of the saves the last month and ends the year with five. They should be in the market for closer and bullpen help this offseason. #RingTheBell Alex McFarlane started the 7th with a 7-1 lead and he would allow a solo dong and another run. Jesus Luzardo pitched a perfect 8th and Jhoan Duran was perfect in the 9th as they had to get the win today. The bullpen is rough outside of Duran. Luzardo could stabilize it a little if he stays there in the postseason. #Cubs Braxton Garrett came up and worked as the bulk guy. He would pitch five innings and pick up the win. Former closer Jacob Webb pitched a perfect 7th and with a 3-2 lead and picked up a hold. Colin Rea was perfect in the 8th and 9th and he picked up the save. They had extended it to a 6-2 lead in the 9th. The bullpen could be somewhat of a liablity in the playoffs and I would expect Ryan Zeferjahn and Daniel Palencia to pitch in the biggest spots. #SFGiants and the #Dodgers used pretty much everyone in the bullpens. #FightinFish Michael Petersen got the final out of the 5th and pitched a scoreless 6th with the game tied at 1-1. He would end up picking up the win. Calvin Faucher had the 7th with a 4-1 lead and he would allow a couple runs. He picked up a hold. Josh Ekness pitched a perfect 8th and got a hold. For the third time Sandy Alcantara had the 9th and he allowed a runner to reach on an error but picked up the save. This is pretty much how things have gone since Fairbanks went down. They had no closer and then Sandy would see saves when he was scheduled to throw. They need a closer next season since Fairbanks is an FA. #LEtsGoBucs Lake Bachar came in with one out in the 7th and a 4-2 lead. He would get the next two outs though one guy reached on a strikeout wild pitch. He would return and pitch a perfect 8th. He picked up a win. They brought Mason Montgomery back for the 9th and he was perfect picking up the save. Nice to see they didn't leave Monty with a sour taste in his mouth. He should start next year as the closer and hopefully he can repeat his Sept success. #FountainsUp Nolan Hoffman got the final two outs of the 6th with the score tied at 2-2. Connor Thomas was perfect in the 7th and got an out in the 8th with the game still tied. Nate Pearson came in and walked a batter like normal but got the final two outs. He was credited with the win. Lucas Erceg returned to the 9th and he allowed a two out single but was able to protect the one run lead. This was the guy who closed in April but lost it after that month. I believe Carlos Estévez is a FA and if he just had shoulder surgery who knows what he could even provide next year. They should be in the market for a closer. #WhiteSox Sean Newcomb got a couple outs in the 6th with the score 4-1. He would walk a batter and be removed for Trevor Richards but did pick up a hold. Solid season for him working in high leverage spots and even getting some saves. Trevor Richards got the final ten outs and allowed a run but picked up the save. They are headed to the postseason and were resting the main guys in the bullpen. #ThisIsMyCrew DL Hall had another nice outing pitching with a 6-0 lead. He got five outs in the 6th and 7th allowing just a walk. With a 6-0 lead they used Chad Patrick in the 8th and he got an out but allowed four runs. Shane Drohan would come on with the score now 6-4 and get the final two outs of the 8th and pitch a perfect 9th. He picked up the save. They elected not to use anyone of true importance and now just wait to see who why will play next weekend. #Dbacks Juan Morillo allowed two singles in the 5th one of which scored an inherited runner. He would return for the 6th and allow another single. Brandyn Garcia got through the 6th but allowed Morillo's run to score and make it a 4-1 game. They tied it at 4-4 and went with Justin Martinez in the 7th. He got the first batter out before walking the next four. They pulled him after he walked in a run. He would be charged with two more runs and a loss. Kevin Ginkel came in and got the final two outs but allowed those Martinez runs. They got eliminated around this time and turned to Ryne Nelson who allowed two more runs. The bullpen has a bunch of free agents this offseason so we will see who returns. Jmart should be the closer unless they bring in someone else. #FantasyBaseball #Closers #Saves #Bullpens #Holds #MLB #Champs #SundayFunday #SeasonEnd

Bullpen Stock Watch Mason and Jordan the same? (Fantrax Roster %) Stock Up📈 Tanner Scott (71%) 25 saves is impressive. Gabe Speier (21%) Seems like he'll see the save chance if they have one. Trent Harris (11%) Tough loss in a tie game but he is still the closer if available. Ryan Watson (10%) Closer ADD ADD ADD ADD ADD Dedniel Nunez (6%) Good late inning option. Brennan Bernardino (3%) Solid late inning guy but they never win. Stock Watch Mason Miller (99%) What happened Mason? Robert Suarez (74%) Allowed a run in another tune up. Mason Montgomery (71%) His hot streak finally came to an end. It was still an amazing Sept. Aaron Ashby (64%) He's a quality bullpen arm. Luke Weaver (45%) He's been a lot better lately. Seranthony Domínguez (41%) Could see a save chance but Speier appears to be ahead. Jordan Romano (23%) Ugghhhh. Still the closer. Evan Phillips (14%) Blown save in the 8th but still high leverage. Stock Down📉 Bryan Hudson (18%) Another disappointing outing. Dylan Dodd (18%) He's out of high leverage with Suarez back. José Alvarado (13%) He's back to who we thought he was. Alex Lange (8%) You suck buddy. Jose Cabrera (6%) Might have cost them a postseason. Richard Lovelady (3%) Never got it back together after the IL. Yunior Tur (1%) Awful year. #FantasyBaseball #Closers #Bullpens #Saves #Holds #Stocks

Bullpen Notes🗒️(9/26) #LGM Dedniel Nunez pitched a perfect 6th with the team down 1-0 and ended up getting the win. Nate Lavender pitched a perfect 7th and got a hold. It was 7-1 and Devin Williams pitched the 8th. I would guess that is going to be Williams final appearance which would mean Senga should go tomorrow if they have a save opportunity. #LetsGoBucs Bullpen game that Yates and Ramirez got though the first three innings without allowing a run. Carmen Mlodzinski pitched the 4th and the 5th but walked a guy in the 6th while getting one out. Evan Sisk came in and allowed Mlodzinski's runner to score but got out of the inning with a 2-1 lead. Both guys picked up holds. Gregory Soto was perfect in the 7th and Luke Weaver allowed a lead off single in the 8th but got a double play. Both guys picked up holds. They went with Mason Montgomery in the 9th and he finally gave one up. He struck out the first batter he faced but would allow a single and double before a groundout scored a run to make it 3-2. The next batter hit a two run dong and he got a loss and a blown save. I wouldn't expect any of these guys to pitch tomorrow since they haven't been going back to back. #SFGiants Duncan Davitt came in for the 4th and allowed a couple runs that put them down 3-1 while getting two outs. Tristan Beck got the final out of the 4th but did allow one inherited runner to score. Beck, Seymour, Doval, and Foley got the game from the 5th to the 9th without allowing a run. Yes that is Camilo Doval who returned after being released by the Pirates. After tying the game at 3-3 they used Trent Harris in the 9th and he allowed a lead off dong. He would end up getting the loss. Tough break for Harris but it was a non-save. If they have a chance tomorrow I would think he is the guy if he is available. #Dodgers Alex Vesia pitched the 5th without issue. Kris Bubic had the 6th and picked up a hold. Brock Stewart allowed an RBI triple in the 7th with a 3-1 lead and picked up a hold. They gave Evan Phillips the 8th and he allowed a lead off double that would come around to score and tie the game. He picked up a win but was charged with a blown save. Tanner Scott had the 9th with a 4-3 lead and he allowed a two out double but picked up his 25th save of the season. That is back to back outings for Scott so his season is probably over. Wouldn't shock me to see them give Diaz a chance if they have a save situation tomorrow. #BravesCountry Brent Suter and went three scoreless. Dylan Dodd gave up a couple runs in the 4th. Victor Mederos pitched a scoreless 5th and 6th and he would pick up the win. Robert Suarez pitched the 7th with a 6-2 lead and he allowed an RBI triple. Dylan Lee pitched the 8th with a 6-3 and allowed a lead off single while picking up a hold. Raisel Iglesias had the 9th with a 8-3 and he allowed a lead off single but nothing else. This is pretty much what to expect from the bullpen in the playoffs with Fuentes mixed into the late innings. #AllForTX With a 6-1 lead in the 5th Robert Garcia got a double play to end the inning. He would return for the 6th and allow a one out single but no runs while picking up the win. Jakob Junis had the 7th and allowed a lead off double but no runs. Tyler Alexander allowed a run in the 8th which made it a 6-2 game. Jacob Latz was perfect in the 9th striking out the side with a four run lead. They needed to win today and they will need to win tomorrow so it remains all hands on deck. I would think everyone from the bullpen will be available for at least an inning. #FountainsUp They were down for the bullpen innings. After cutting it to 7-5 Alex Lange had one more blowup in him. He was charged with four runs in the 9th while getting an out. Unless Cruz returns tomorrow no one in this bullpen should be rostered. #GuardsBall Shawn Armstrong pitched a perfect inning in the 7th with a 7-3 lead. Craig Yoho started the 8th and allowed a couple runs while getting an out to make the score 7-5. Cade Smith came in with a runner on and got the final two outs of the inning. He picked up a hold. They opened it up and to 11-5 and Slade Cecconi pitched a perfect 9th. They clinched the division so I doubt anyone important pitches tomorrow but it is possible for Smith to go since he could win the save title with another save. #WhiteSox They were down for most of the game but things got away in the 9th. Down 5-3 Bryan Hudson started the 9th and he let a couple on before allowing an RBI single and getting two outs. Tyler Davis would come on and allow a three run dong with two runs charged to Hudson. The lost ended their chances at the division so I would expect anyone of importance to have the day off tomorrow. #Rockies Brennan Bernardino got an out to end the 7th with a 5-3 lead and he returned for the 8th battling through the first two men reaching to pick up a hold. Jordan Romano had the 9th after they opened up a 9-3 lead. He let the first two on and then allowed a three run dong. He would get the next three out. Hate to see closers in non-save situations but sometimes things like this happen. Romano is still the closer and it is possible that he will make another appearance tomorrow if they have a save situation. #ThisIsMyCrew Kyle Harrison pitched the 4th and 5th with the team down 2-1. He would pick up the win when they took the lead in the bottom of the 5th. JoJo Romero got the next five outs and Antonio Senzatela got the final out of the 7th with a 3-2 lead. Both guys picked up holds. Aaron Ashby pitched a perfect 8th and 9th and he picked up the save. Megill and Uribe had pitched last night so there was no reason to use them back to back. It wouldn't shock me to see them pitch tomorrow since they will have about a week off after the game. #RingTheBell It was mostly a bullpen game and I'll start with José Alvarado pitching in the 5th. He struggled with his control and allowed an inherited runner to score along with three of his own while getting one out. That put them down 5-0. Brooks Raley pitched the 8th with the team down 10-1 and he was the only other notable reliever to pitch. They have to win tomorrow so it will be another game of all hands on deck. #Dbacks They used pretty much everyone. Taylor Clarke, Jonathan Loáisiga, and Kevin Ginkel got through the first three innings allowing three runs. Jose Cabrera had the 4th with a 4-3 lead and he would allow a three run dong. He would also return for the 5th and allow a couple more runs. He was charged with a blown save and loss. Morillo, Santana and Martinez pitched the next 3.2 innings and Santana allowed two runs. They have to win again tomorrow so what ever guy is available will have a shot at pitching. Anyone could close after seeing how they used the bullpen today. #FortheFaithful Yuki Matsui picked up the win getting the final out of the 4th. Bradgley Rodriguez pitched a perfect 5th with a 6-4 lead and a pitched the 6th with an 8-4 lead and he picked up a hold. David Morgan had the 7th and Adrian Morejon had the 8th and neither guy allowed a run. Mason Miller had the 9th with the score 10-4 and allowed a surprising three runs. He struggled with his control. My guess is this was the final innings of the year for most of the big guys in the bullpen. #TridentsUp Michael Rucker got the final two outs of the 4th and pitched the 5th. With a 4-0 lead in the 6th they went with Jose A. Ferrer and he continued to be awful. He would allow a couple runs to score but an error hurt him. Carlos Vargas came in to get the final two outs of the inning and let a Ferrer run score. That made it 4-4 and he was charged with the blown save. He would return for the 7th and would pick up a win when they took the lead in the bottom of the inning. With an 8-4 lead Seranthony Domínguez pitched a perfect 8th and Gabe Speier pitched a perfect 9th. Those two are the guys I would expect to see a save chance and it appears Speier has the edge. #FantasyBaseball #Closers #Saves #Bullpens #Holds #MLB #Champs #Sadderday @sadderday

Bullpen Stock Watch Good night my Sweet Muñoz (Fantrax Roster %) Stock Up📈 Roki Sasaki (85%) Hold as they prep him for the playoffs. Hogan Harris (45%) Still picking up saves. Erik Sabrowski (41%) He is looking good for holds again. Seranthony Domínguez (40%) I think he gets the next chance. Nate Lavender (16%) He has pitched well as a low end holds guy. Josiah Gray (12%) They spun the wheel and it was his turn for a save. Trent Harris (11%) Add for saves. Cole Sulser (3%) He has looked good again. Low end holds. Stock Watch Louis Varland (86%) Another save. Bryan Baker (84%) He's up to 41 saves on the year. Leading the league. Grant Taylor (79%) Another annoying hold. Tanner Scott (79%) Still the closer. Kenley Jansen (78%) Two saves away. Didier Fuentes (59%) He gave up a couple in a rough outing. Holds option. Hunter Gaddis (37%) He has looked shaky again. Gus Varland (3%) The Gus Bus is back. Raymond Burgos (1%) Save and sent down. Stock Down📉 Andrés Muñoz (94%) IL Season over. Nate Pearson (12%) The good times are over. Sam Bachman (11%) He hasn't been good since returning. Luis Mey (7%) He is still just a hard thrower. Results not there yet. Ryan Rolison (6%) I think he is out of the closer mix and can be dropped. Luis Gastelum (5%) Hasn't had success in big spots. Andrew Sears (5%) Ugly outing but got Kenley a save chance. Bennett Sousa (4%) He's approaching King level of bad. Juan Mejia (3%) He's not a major leaguer. #FantasyBaseball #Closers #Bullpens #Saves #Holds #Stocks

Bullpen Notes🗒️(9/25) #Cubs Aaron Civale took the loss in game one allowing a run in the 7th to make it a 4-3 deficit. In game two Javier Assad was charged with a run in the 8th along with Ryan Rolison who allowed the two run single. Assad picked up the loss. They activated Gavin Hollowell and he got the last out of the 8th. Rolison is a matchup pitcher but does see action as the late inning lefty. They have clinched so Sunday would just be a day to get guys tuned up for the Wild Card round. #DirtyWater Double dip which saw no one of importance pitch. Raymond Burgos picked up a save in game one pitching a perfect 8th and 9th and he was sent down after the game as his reward. They play Sunday and I assume most of the main guys will get an inning of work in as a tune up for the Wild Card round. #Birdland They didn't use any of the top three guys in the bullpen in either game of the double header. Anthony Nunez gave up a couple runs in his appearance in game two. Garcia is still the best option for saves with Kitty and Cano as the holds guys. #RepBX In game one Paul Blackburn pitched the 8th and allowed a run. They used Bednar down big in the 9th. He did load the bases but didn't allow any runs. Brent Headrick allowed a run in the 7th inning of game two. No one in the bullpen pitched in a save or hold situation in either game and they are really just setting everyone up for the postseason which starts on Tuesday. #RepDetroit Drew Sommers got a couple outs in the 6th with a 6-2 lead. Andrew Sears pitched a perfect 7th and returned for the 8th where he allowed five runs to make it an 8-7 game. Tyler Holton got the final out of the 8th to pick up a hold. Kenley Jansen had the 9th with an 8-7 lead and was perfect picking up the save. That puts him two away from 500 and he remains the only guy in the bullpen worth rostering. #RingTheBell They were down 2-0 in the 8th and used Jhoan Duran. He faced the top of the lineup and was perfect. Tim Mayza pitched the 9th and let a couple on with two outs but no runs scored. They need to win so it is all hands on deck until they clinch a playoff spot. The bullpen outside of Duran continues to be unreliable. #RaysUp Cam Booser got two outs to end the 6th with a 2-0 lead. He was credited with a hold. Kevin Kelly pitched a perfect 7th and Cole Sulser pitched a perfect 8th and each guy picked up a hold. Bryan Baker had the 9th and was also perfect to pick up the save. They activated Manuel Rodríguez so he could see some low end hold chances. Otherwise the guys who pitched today are the guys to roster for saves and holds. #Natitude Gus Varland got the final out of the 5th and returned for the 6th pitching a perfect inning with a 6-5 lead. He would pick up the win. Yovanny Cruz was perfect in the 7th and picked up a hold. Jack Sinclair had the 8th and he allowed a run but they had a 7-5 lead so he still picked up a hold. They went with Josiah Gray for the 9th and he walked a batter with two outs but was able to protect the 7-6 lead and pick up the save. They are using about five different guys to close right now but Tolman seems like he has the best chance on any given night. #ATOBTTR Luis Mey got a couple outs in the 6th with a 5-2 lead. He would come back for the 7th and let three on with one knocking a runner in while getting one out. Pierce Johnson came in and allowed three more Mey runs to score and put them down 6-5. Mey got a hold but allowed 4 runs (1 unearned) and was charged with a loss. Johnson got a blown save but didn't allow any of his own runs. Graham Ashcraft pitched the 8th. Pagan and Burke are the only two guys worth rostering here. #BlueJays50 Cellucci and Dallas got the game into the 7th inning after the starter went three. Mason Fluharty got the final two outs of the 7th and would pick up the win after they rallied in the bottom of the inning. With a 6-5 lead in the 8th Tyler Rogers allowed a lead off single but kept them from scoring. He picked up a hold. Louis Varland pitched the 9th and he was perfect picking up a save. Rogers and Varland are the guys for holds and saves. #BravesCountry Didier Fuentes pitched the 8th with the team down 1-0. He struggled allowing five hits and two runs. They picked a guy off and threw a guy out who was stretching a single otherwise it would have been even uglier. Fuentes had forced his way into the late innings but he just didn't have it tonight. #FountainUp Connor Thomas pitched a scoreless 6th and 7th with the team down 7-5. Lucas Erceg battled through the 8th and didn't allow a run despite walking the bases loaded. The walks continued in the 9th after they tied it at 7-7. Nate Pearson started the inning and walked four batters while getting two outs. He was pulled after walking in a run. Nolan Hoffman came in and walked in two more before allowing a double that plated two while the final guy was thrown out at home. Pearson was charged with the loss and four runs while Hoffman was charged with one run. At this point I wouldn't roster anyone in the bullpen since Pearson has struggled with his control. If Cruz returns from the paternity list he is the guy for saves. #GuardsBall Tim Herrin allowed an inherited runner to score and one of his own in the 4th. With a 7-5 lead Shawn Armstrong pitched the 5th, Daniel Espino pitched the 6th, and Erik Sabrowski pitched the 7th. None of them allowed more than a runner to reach and all three picked up holds. With a 7-5 lead in the 8th Hunter Gaddis allowed a couple singles and two run dong. He was charged with a blown save but would pick up the win. Matt Festa pitched the 9th with a 12-7 lead and allowed another two run dong. Smith is the closer and Gaddis is struggling again which probably makes Sabrowski the better option for holds. #Rockies Brennan Bernardino got an out in the 7th to keep it a 4-1 deficit. Juan Mejia had the 8th and he allowed a couple runs. Bennie has been decent as a low end holds option and Mejia is lucky to be on the roster. Romano is the closer. #WhiteSox Hagen Smith got the final two outs of the 6th to keep the score 3-1. He allowed a walk but picked up a hold. Grant Taylor threw 17 pitches and got six outs in the 7th and 8th. He picked up a hold. With the score 6-1 they used Bryan Hudson in the 9th and he didn't allow a run. Taylor probably has one more outing in him so if they are still competing for the division he could see another save chance. Hudson is the other option if Taylor pitches too early in the game. #ThisIsMyCrew With a 4-1 lead in the 7th they used Bryse Wilson. He allowed a solo dong and a two run dong before getting an out. He would get out of the inning but it was now 4-4 and he was charged with a blown save. Abner Uribe pitched the 8th with the game tied and allowed a lead off single. He picked up a win after they rallied in the bottom the inning. With an 8-4 lead in the 9th they used Trevor Megill and he allowed a lead off single but got out of the inning. Uribe and Megill might see one more inning this season but they have locked up the one seed so don't expect them to work too much. #ChaseTheFight They had a 1-0 lead, with runners on second and third, and one out in the 6th when they brought in Bennett Sousa. He didn't get an out and faced three batters with three runs scoring. AJ Blubaugh came in and allowed another couple runs to score before getting the three outs to end the inning. The starter was charged with two runs and a loss, Sousa was charged with three runs and a blown save, and Blubaugh was charged with one run. VanWey and Hendrickson had the 7th and 8th and didn't allow anymore runs but the damage was done. They got Hader another night off and they still need to win one game to clinch the division. #Athletics Seth Johnson pitched the 7th with a 6-1 lead and allowed a solo dong. Geoff Hartlieb had the 8th and allowed three of four to reach. Luis Medina came in and allowed all three of Hartliebs runs to score which made it 6-5 but he did pick up a hold. Medina was wild and a run scored on a wild pitch. Hogan Harris pitched the 9th and he allowed a walk but got a double play to end the game. Alvarado had pitched back to back so it wasn't surprising to see Harris here. It seems like a split with Alvarado and Harris and both guys could pick up a save on any given night. #TridentsUp They were down pretty big in the game and used Eduard Bazardo and Troy Taylor. Both guys allowed a run and Taylor went two innings. Andrés Muñoz hit the IL prior to the game so his season is over. If they have a save chance in the last two games I get the feeling Seranthony Domínguez will be the one who tries to pick it up. #Dodgers Roki Sasaki pitched a perfect 8th and had a couple strikeouts with a 2-0 lead. He would pick up a hold. Tanner Scott had the 9th and he was perfect with a couple strikeouts as well. He would pick up a save. This is what playoff mode was always going to look like as they move starters back into the bullpen for one inning or so. I still think Scott is the best option for saves and he has a shot to pick up one more this season. #FantasyBaseball #Closers #Saves #Bullpens #Holds #MLB #Champs #FreakyFriday

Bullpen Notes🗒️(9/24) #STLCards The game was tied at 1-1 and Cooper Hjerpe, Gordon Graceffo, and Brycen Mautz got through 7th innings. None of them allowed a run but they are all low leverage pitchers. Ryne Stanek had the 8th and allowed a one out walk. That guy would advance to third on a wild pitch and a throw away error and he scored an unearned run on a sac fly. He was charged with the loss. ROB is the closer and Soriano is the best option for holds. #LetsGoBucs Yohan Ramirez got two outs in the 7th with the score tied at 1-1. Gregory Soto started the 8th and got two outs but allowed two runners to reach. Luke Weaver would get the final out of the inning and pick up the win. Mason Montgomery had the 9th with a 2-1 lead and struck out the side to pick up the save. He continues to be amazing and has locked down the closers role. #FightinFish Jack Ralston started the 5th with a 1-0 lead and allowed a one out solo dong. He returned for the 6th and allowed another run before getting an out. He would pick up the loss. Josh Ekness finished the 6th and pitched the 7th. Victor Vodnik was perfect in the 8th with the team down 2-1. They announced Sandy Alcantara would not start again this season so it would not shock me it they used him to close on Sat or Sun. Otherwise Faucher or Petersen should see the chances but Vodnik could still be in the mix. #Cubs Daniel Palencia pitched the 8th with a 2-1 lead and walked the lead off batter but got the next three out. He picked up a hold. Ryan Zeferjahn had the 9th and he was perfect picking up the save. This is kind of what I expected. Zef seems to have the lead for the 9th and as well as Palencia has pitched he still hasn't gotten a save chance. The 8th is as late as he has pitched in a close game with the lead. #AllForTX With a 2-1 lead in the 6th they turned to Robert Garcia and he pitched a perfect inning picking up a hold. Tyler Alexander had the 7th with a 3-1 lead and he allowed a one out single but nothing else. Chase Silseth was perfect in the 8th and both of those two picked up holds. With a 3-1 lead in the 9th Jordan Montgomery got the save chance and he was perfect. Latz had pitched in a couple innings yesterday so it isn't that surprising that he didn't get the chance. Not using Junis is somewhat interesting and tells you what they think of him in a big spot. This was just a day off for Latz and he should be back out there the next time they have a save opportunity. #Rockies The starter gave up 10 runs so they were down quick. Jimmy Herget pitched a couple innings and gave up a couple runs. They also used Jordan Romano in the 9th and he allowed a one out triple but no other runs. They were down 12-8 at the time. He is the closer and a risky option for saves since they really dont get too many chances. #RepTheHalo With the score 1-1 in the 7th they used Alex McFarlane and he walked the first two but then struck out the next three. José Alvarado had the 8th and he started with a walk, RBI single, and single. He would get an out and they brought in Chase Shurgart who let both Alvarado runs score. Tim Mayza allowed a homer in the 9th that made it 5-1. Alvarado had worked his way into the 8th but he is prone to games like this. McFarlane might be the best reliever they have outside of Duran right now but he really hasn't pitched in big spots. Duran is the only guy worth rostering. #ThisIsMyCrew Shane Drohan, Chad Patrick, and Aaron Ashby got though the first six innings with Drohan allowing the only run. JoJo Romero got through the 7th and got a lefty out in the 8th which let him pick up the win. Antonio Senzatela got the final two outs of the 8th and walked a batter in the 9th. They had a 4-1 lead in the 8th so he qualified for a save. They clinched so they can give Megill and Uribe days off and both pitched yesterday. Megill is still the guy to roster for saves. #GuardsBall Daniel Espino started today and didn't allow a run. With a 1-0 lead in the 7th they went with Hunter Gaddis and he allowed a walk. Erik Sabrowski had the 8th and also allowed a walk. Both guys picked up holds and Sabrowski faced the more difficult part of the lineup. Cade Smith was on for the 9th with a 1-0 lead and he struck out the side to pick up the save. He is now tied for the league lead and the three guys who pitched today are all worth rostering for saves and holds. #RaysUp vs #RepBX close game but that the Rays bullpen blew but all the guys out of both bullpens were low leverage pitchers. #BravesCountry AJ Smith-Shawver pitched the 6th with a 6-5 lead and allowed a two run dong with one out. He was charged with a blown save and picked up a loss. He would return and pitch a perfect 7th. Dylan Dodd pitched a perfect 8th and 9th with the team down 7-6. Both guys could make the playoff roster but they are mid leverage relievers with Suarez back. #ATOBTTR Zach McCambley gave up a run in the 5th that put them down 6-5. Connor Phillips got the final out of the inning after walking two to load the bases. He would return for the 6th and pick up the win. With a 7-6 lead in the 7th they went with Tejay Antone and he pitched a perfect inning. In the 8th they used Brock Burke who allowed a one double. Both guys picked up holds. Emilio Pagán had the 9th and he allowed a lead off single but got the next three guys out. That is save number twenty five on the season. Him and Burke remain the saves and holds guys. #RepTheHalo With a 5-4 lead they used Sammy Peralta for the 6th, 7th, and 8th. He allowed singles in the 6th and 8th and he would end up picking up a hold. With a 6-4 lead in the 9th they went with Ryan Watson and he was perfect picking up the save. Prior to the game Joyce hit the IL. They said he had a sore shoulder and as we know there is no reason to push him. Hopefully it is nothing but his season ends the way it started. Watson takes over in the 9th and he has been pretty solid in the a high leverage role. I would go out and add him as a closer for the last weekend. #Athletics With the game tied at 4-4 in the 7th Scott Blewett allowed a one out solo dong and "blew it" 🤣. He would pick up the loss. Chris Roycroft and Elvis Alvarado pitched the 8th and 9th and each of them allowed a solo dong. Alvarado and Harris are the closers and that is back to back games for Alvarado so Harris likely gets the next chance. #ChaseTheFight Bryan King got four outs in the 3rd and 4th. Miguel Ullola pitched the 5th, 6th, and 7th and only allowed a two out double in the 7th. He would end up getting the win. Bennett Sousa started the 8th with a 6-4 lead and he allowed a one out solo dong and gave up another single before getting pulled for Bryan Abreu. Sousa would get a hold. Abreu did walk a batter in the 8th but got out of the inning. In the 9th he allowed a one out single but got a double play to end it and pick up the save. Hader had the day off so Abreu got the chance. He has looked good and is a solid option for holds and the occasional save. #Dodgers Justin Wrobleski gave up a couple inherited runs and one of his own while getting two outs in the 7th. Evan Phillips pitched perfect 8th and Edwin Díaz was perfect in the 9th. Both of these guys will make the postseason roster and Díaz has looked much better since his return from the IL. Scott remains the closer but the bullpen will likely get shuffled in the postseason. #ForTheFaithful Yuki Matsui got the final out of the 5th after allowing a single and a couple outs in the 6th. He would pick up a win as the score was 0-0 at the time. Jason Adam got the final out of the 6th and a couple outs in the 7th. He picked up a hold. Adrian Morejon came in and got the final out of the 7th who was a lefty. He would return for the 8th and allow a run to score on a balk which made it 4-1 and he picked up a hold. Mason Miller pitched the 9th and had ended the inning on a strike out but the ball got away from the catcher. He would allow and RBI double after but did get the final out to pick up the save. Adam's return is big as he could slot back into the 7th as a holds option. Miller and Morejon are the 9th and 8th inning men. #FantasyBaseball #Closers #Saves #Bullpens #Holds #MLB #Champs #ThreeSomeThursday

Bullpen Stock Watch Rando's getting saves. (Fantrax Roster %) Stock Up📈 Aroldis Chapman (97%) Back from his injury with a save. Devin Williams (80%) Returned and got a hold. Robert Suarez (74%) Gave up a run but returned. Seranthony Domínguez (40%) If Munoz cant go he is next up. Andrew Morris (19%) He could see another chance. Steven Cruz (15%) A risky closer. DL Hall (11%) Been good for holds. Trent Harris (10%) The closer. Erik Tolman (6%) He seems like the best option for the 9th. Stock Watch Josh Hader (97%) Lotta pitches but he's the closer. Jacob Latz (85%) Rough outing but he was in for the 7th. Kris Bubic (71%) He has pitched well in the bullpen. Bradgley Rodriguez (29%) Good holds guy. Andrew Kittredge (21%) I think Garcia is still the better option for saves. Bryan Hudson (18%) No idea why he started over Newcomb but it was the wrong choice. Calvin Faucher (15%) He seems closer to the 9th than Petersen. Jonathan Loáisiga (8%) He got a save but I dont think he gets another. Yovanny Cruz (5%) Got a save but allowed a run. Stock Down📉 Justin Martinez (34%) He pitches prior to the 9th. Michael Petersen (24%) Blown save but he isn't closing. A.J. Minter (12%) Seems like he's out of the 9th. Bullpen Notes🗒️(9/23) #RepDetroit Tyler Kinley and Jacob Waguespack pitched and both gave up runs. Down 4-1 in the 9th they used Kenley Jansen and he pitched a perfect inning. He's got three games left and needs three saves to reach 500. It doesn't look like it is happening this season. #Natitude Bullpen game here that saw Lovelady and Lord get them into the 5th inning without allowing a run. Will Dion got the final out of the 5th allowed a solo dong in the 6th after they took a 3-0 lead. He returned for the 7th and allowed a walk while getting a couple outs and he picked up the win. Jack Sinclair got the final out of the 7th with a 3-1 lead and picked up a hold. Erik Tolman started the 8th against the meat of the order and walked a couple batters while getting two outs. He would pick up a hold. Yovanny Cruz got the final out and returned for the 9th with a 4-1 lead. He would allow a run but they let him get out of the inning and he picked up the save. Tolman did face the best batters but this isn't a shock since they haven't used a true closer all year. They are just getting a look at all the these guys it seems like. All four of the guys who pitched after the 6th could see a save chance on any given night. #BlueJays50 They lost both games of the double header and after game one they were eliminated. Game two saw them use guys they had just called up. Varland and Rogers are the guys to roster here but it will be interesting to see how much more they pitch. Varland is already at 77 innings which is a career high. #Birdland They swept the double dip and eliminated TOR. The starter let a couple on the 6th of game one and they went with Luis De Leon. He would allow both inherited runners to score while getting two outs. They brought in Anthony Nunez and he got the final out and pitched a perfect 7th. Both guys picked up holds. Rico Garcia pitched the 8th and was perfect picking up a hold. He faced the 4, 5, and 6 hitters. That left the 9th for Andrew Kittredge with a 4-2 lead and he allowed a lead off single but picked up the save. In game two Yennier Cano got the final out of the 7th to pick up a hold. They had a 4-0 lead in the 9th and used Félix Bautista but he allowed a two run dong. Bautista doesn't have a much value for this season. Garcia getting the 8th is a bit surprising as he has been the closer for a while. Maybe they felt that was better matchup. I still think Garcia sees the next save chance but Kitty is more in the mix than I thought. #SFGiants Joel Kuhnel got the last two outs to get out of the 6th. Dylan Smith started the 7th with the game tied at 2-2 and walked a batter before allowing and RBI single. He would get two outs and Sam Hentges came in and allowed one more Smith run who took the loss before getting out of the inning. Braxton Roxby got though the 8th and got two outs in the 9th before allowing a single. They were down 4-2 but brought in Trent Harris to get the final out. They have an off day tomorrow and the only guy I would roster in the bullpen is the closer Harris. #MNTwins Yoendrys Gomez had his first good outing in over a week getting five outs in the 6th and 7th. He would pick up the win. With a 4-2 lead in the 8th A.J. Minter pitched a perfect inning and picked up the hold. Andrew Morris had the 9th and he let a couple guys on with two outs but kept them from scoring to pick up the save. Hoffman looked like Hoffman last night and Morris who has struggled looked better tonight. Both guys are likely in the mix for the final games of the season for saves. Minter appears to be back into a holds role. #ThisIsMyCrew With a 4-1 lead in the 6th they went with DL Hall. He got through the 6th and the 7th allowing runners in both innings but picked up the save. Abner Uribe had the 8th and he allowed a two out double but picked up the hold. Trevor Megill pitched a perfect 9th with a 4-1 lead and picked up save number 30. This is how the 8th and 9th should look and Hall is pushing Ashby for the 7th inning spot as the late inning lefty. #LetsGoBucs Bullpen game that they lost but I just wanted to note from yesterday that they DFA'd Camilo Doval. It appears they just didn't want to pay him next year. Kirby Yates was activated for him and pitched the 9th today. #DirtyWater Tyron Guerrero pitched the 7th with a 1-0 lead and allowed a lead off walk but nothing else. Garrett Whitlock let a couple on in the 8th but got a double play to get out of the inning and both guys picked up holds. Aroldis Chapman returned from his Lat injury and had the 9th with a 1-0 lead. He had no trouble and picked up his 35th save. This is what the bullpen should look like for the postseason with Miller and potentially Crochet mixed in against lefties. #ATOBTTR With the score tied at 2-2 Graham Ashcraft walked and hit a batter in the 8th but got a double play in between that helped him get out of the inning. Pierce Johnson was perfect in the 9th to send the game to extra's. Luis Mey had the bottom of the 10th with the game still tied and he allowed the ghost runner to score and picked up the loss. Pagan is the closer and Burke is the best option for holds. No need to roster anyone from tonight. #BravesCountry Victor Mederos walked a batter in the 6th before getting the final out with the team down 1-0. Robert Suarez returned from the IL and had the 7th with the game tied at 1-1. He allowed a lead off triple and that guy would score. Lee pitched a perfect 8th, Iglesias pitched a perfect 9th, and Suter kept the ghost runner from scoring in the 10th and picked up the win. Now we wait to see how Suarez responds to the outing because they really need him to fill out this bullpen. Iggy is the closer. #WhiteSox They started Bryan Hudson and he was charged with four runs (1 unearned) in the first inning. Fedde got them into the 4th and Newcomb got through the 4th and 5th. With the game tied in the 6th Hagen Smith pitched a perfect inning. He would return for the 7th and allow a lead off single that came around to score. He was charged with a loss. Jordan Hicks finished the game pitching the 8th. Typically Newcomb would start a game like this but for whatever reason they used Hudson. Smith has been solid but that was a high leverage spot and he didn't get the job done. They are all hands on deck but Taylor remains the most likely to see a save. #FountainsUp Connor Thomas pitched the 6th and 7th with the game tied at 4-4. He would not allow any runs and ended up getting the win. Lucas Erceg surprised everyone with a perfect 8th inning protecting a 5-4 lead and picking up a hold. Steven Cruz had the 9th and allowed a two out single but got the job done. Cruz remains the closer here and Pearson is the best option for holds. #Cubs Javier Assad got the final out of the 6th with the team down 2-0. They tied it at 2-2 and went with Ryan Rolison in the 7th. He would struggle and allow a run while getting two outs. He picked up the loss. Jacob Webb got the final out of the 7th and pitched the 8th with the team down 3-2. He allowed a couple runners to reach in the 8th. Colin Rea finished off the game. Zeferjahn and Palencia had both pitched yesterday and I think they are the guys who will see the next save chance. #FightinFish Michael Petersen came on in the 6th with a 2-0 lead, one out, and two on. He would hit a batter to load the bases before allowing both inherited runners to score. He would get the final two outs but was charged with a blown save. Cade Gibson pitched a perfect 7th and picked up a win after they took a 3-2 lead. Calvin Faucher had a perfect 8th to get a hold. A week after getting his first save they used Sandy Alcantara in the 9th. He would allow a single but got a double play to end it and picked up the save. As I have been saying who knows what is going on in this bullpen. Faucher and Petersen see innings prior to the 9th so I still think Vodnik gets the next chance. If Sandy doesn't make another start he could be available this weekend to close. #AllForTX Tyler Alexander got the final two outs of the 5th with the team down and pitched a perfect 6th with the game tied at 2-2. Chase Silseth put two of three on to start the 7th and they brought in Jacob Latz. He would get out of the 7th but allowed a two out dong in the 8th. He ended up with the loss. Jordan Montgomery and Trevor Williams were charged with two runs each when Williams allowed a grand slam in the 9th. This is just classic over management with Latz. The bullpen prior to him has been weak all year but still you have to go to one of the guys who pitched yesterday. Its winning time. Latz is the best option for saves and the only guy to roster here. #LGM Devin Williams pitched the 8th with a 3-2 lead and picked up a hold. No surprise as they said they were planning out his innings. Cionel Perez pitched the 9th with a 7-2 lead but he was up when the game was 3-2 so he was seeing the save. Senga is still the guy to roster for saves even though he probably wont go back to back again this season. #Dbacks Justin Martinez got the final two outs of the 6th with a 4-2 lead and picked up a hold. Brandyn Garcia pitched a perfect 7th and returned for the 8th. He would allow a lead off dong that made it 5-3 before getting an out. Juan Morillo came in and finished off the inning. Both guys picked up holds. That left the 9th to Jonathan Loáisiga and he let a couple guys on but picked up the save. We're back to a committee here with Loaisiga in the mix. They need to win so it is all hands on deck which is making the roles even more blurred. What ever matchup they feel is best is who is going to pitch. #Athletics Geoff Hartlieb allowed an inherited runner to score in the 5th and pitched a perfect 6th to pick up the win. With a 7-3 lead they used Luis Medina in the 7th, Hogan Harris in the 8th, and Elvis Alvarado in the 9th. Medina allowed a couple runs and the other two were perfect. Harris and Alvarado still split the save opportunities. #ChaseTheFight AJ Blubaugh pitched the 6th and 7th with the game tied. He didn't allow a run. Bryan Abreu had the 8th and allowed two out single. Josh Hader got through the 9th and returned for the 10th with a 5-4 lead. He would load the bases before walking in the tying run and then allowed a single that ended the game. He was charged with the loss and threw 44 pitches. Hader is the closer but he wont pitch tomorrow and Abreu is the best option for holds. #TridentsUp With the game tied at 4-4 they went with Ferrer in the 6th, Speier in the 7th, Vargas in the 8th, and Dominguez in the 9th. None of them allowed more than one runner to reach and they sent the game to extra's. Cooper Criswell pitched the 10th and allowed the ghost runner to score but picked up the win. No Munoz tonight but he has not been placed in the IL. Dominguez pitched in the spot you would normally see the closer so he might have the edge as the next man up. #ForTheFaithful David Morgan allowed an inherited run to score while getting the last two outs of the 4th. Yuki Matsui pitched the 5th with a 4-1 lead and got a around a lead off walk and a single to pick up a hold. Bradgley Rodriguez allowed a lead off double in the 6th and a one out walk in the 7th but no runs to get the win. Adrian Morejon had the 8th with a 4-1 lead and he allowed a one out single but picked up a hold. They tacked on a run to make it 5-1 and still used Mason Miller in the 9th despite it being a non-save situation. He walked a batter. Miller and Morejon are the guys for saves and holds. #FantasyBaseball #Closers #Saves #Bullpens #Holds #MLB #Champs #Winsday
