Key takeaway: Don’t outsource your members’ digital wealth to big exchanges. Use a core-centric approach (Coin2Core) so local institutions keep control of relationships, data, and community capital.

No XPR was minted. On Oct 23 the bridge moved 3.33B XPR from its hot wallet (proton.wrap) to a new cold-storage wallet (wrapvault), both controlled by the same bridge multisig. Total supply is unchanged at ~32.64B; the explorer's supply page just doesn't yet subtract the cold wallet, so it over-reports circulating by exactly that 3.33B. Fix is on the explorer, not the chain.
