Our nurses, healthcare staff & public sector workers deserve to be paid fairly for the work they do.
But todayโs British government budget has once again failed to provide the money needed to make that happen.
Why should a nurse working in Belfast be treated as worth less than a nurse doing the same job in Manchester, Cardiff or Edinburgh?
Itโs simply not fair.
Sinn Fรฉin will always stand up for our workers & keep fighting to make sure they get the pay they deserve.

Here's another track from one of the arists who supported both Garvaghy Road & Gaza - ๐ฎ๐ช๐ต๐ธ๐ธ
This time it's Kevin Rowland from Dexys Midnight Runners with a track from their album Searching For The Young Rebels.
NB: For anyone who might not know - The iconic cover of this album pictured a 13 year old Catholic kid from the Ardoyne in North Belfast called Tony O'Shaughnessy. His family were pictured fleeing their home during civil unrest in 1971.
Tony later became friends with Kevin Rowland and when
when Tony sadly passed away in October 2021, the band issued a statement "deeply mourning the loss of their defining visual icon".

Can you imagine how the Shinners must be laughing! The fall out from Drumcree? No, not a victory for the OO, but the DUP starting to tear itself apart! Lockhart leading a split, followed by Diane Forsyth (maybe both are tired of being asked to make the tea). And everyone else sits back and watches as unionism splits like an orange! ๐

Reaction to court's decision
SF: The days of forcing unwanted, sectarian marches down Garvaghy Road are over - Nelson
Sinn Fรฉin councillor Catherine Nelson has said todayโs decision by the High Court is the right one and the only sensible outcome.
Ms Nelson was speaking after the court upheld the decision by the British Secretary of State to ban an unwanted march down Garvaghy Road. โThe days of forcing unwanted, sectarian marches down the Garvaghy Road are over,โ said Councillor Nelson. โSinn Fรฉin is proud to have stood with the residents of the Garvaghy Road to protect 28 years of peace and progress. โStanding up for what is right is always the right thing to do. โEveryone must be able to live their lives free from sectarian harassment and intimidation. โThe community of the Garvaghy Road must now be left to live in peace. They have already suffered enormously, not just in recent weeks but over many decades. โSinn Fรฉin is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with them. โThere is no going back. Not now. Not ever.โ
