John’s response to racism directed at Jewish children, is more racism. Don’t be like John. He’s a cunt.

This is genuinely dangerous. Pretending you care about the plight of children to dehumanise other *children* is pretty deep in the pit of racism.
The best way to prove there's no antisemitism in UK schools is for Palestine supporters to alternately mock Jewish kids' experiences, accuse them of lying & having insidious power to prioritise themselves over 'real' racism. This should be a wakeup call for the Left. It won't be.

I am always astonished that Westerners think that our civilisation is the only one in human history that is somehow impregnable and indestructible. The absolute suicidal complacency of it. We’re all going to miss our society when it’s gone.
Of all the things that have been hardest to communicate in my life, this seems the most impossible: that our civilisation is not, by some law of nature, immortal. It has no right or likelihood to continue existing if it insists on committing harakiri. The people who are welcomed onto our airwaves, work in parts of our government and lead some of our political parties include those who would burn down this country in a heart-beat. They would look us in the eyes and kill us. And we know that because they have done it elsewhere. They don't do it at the moment because the time is not right. But when they feel it is, they will act. At which point I suppose people will have to decide whether they wish to be spectators at their own funeral pyre or not. ✍️ Douglas Murray Article | spectator.com/article/france… | @DouglasKMurray

Quite extraordinary for the minister to say this. Not only does the extremely wide draft bill permit for parents and ordinary free speech to be prosecuted the former minister who introduced this bill said that it would and rejected a parental carve out. Breathtaking dishonesty.
Minister's letter to the pre-legislative scrutiny committee published. How? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ How do they think it protects parental rights or freedom of religion and belief? There is nothing on the face of the bill that does any such thing. committees.parliament.uk/pub…

Plus her Japanese translator would have to be murdered, her Italian translator stabbed and her Norwegian publisher shot.
For the Sally Rooney - Salman Rushdie parallel to work, a major Jewish leader would have had to call for her murder, gangs of marauding Jews would have had to burn down bookstores, and a Jewish extremist would have had to stab her eye out with a knife.

There is a tidy version of John Healey. St Peter's School, York. Christ's College, Cambridge. Twenty nine years in Parliament. Now the Chancellor, signing the cheques, setting the budget, deciding what you are allowed to keep. There is another version. It is not tidy. In 1997 he took a Rotherham seat. For the sixteen years that followed, in the streets he represented and the schools he walked past, fourteen hundred girls were being passed around by men the state had quietly decided not to notice. Some of them twelve. One was doused in petrol and told to burn if she talked. He was their MP. He had a seat, a voice, a vote, and the standing to make a noise. He made none. In 2012 the Times finally broke it and demanded an inquiry. His own website still carries the verdict. He had an open mind. He was "not convinced this would help the abused girls." Not convinced. Fourteen hundred of them. One of the few men in the country who could have forced the truth out, and he wanted more time. Then he sued the woman who said so. A UKIP MEP, Jane Collins, accused him and two colleagues of knowing and doing nothing. They took her to court and won. Fifty four thousand pounds each. Healey pocketed his. He did not give it to the girls. He kept it. He had been called out for inaction and he turned it into income. The pattern held. Forty thousand pounds from two donors whose addresses the register lists only as "private," while he lectured Farage on secret money. His own council tax, on his own second home, unpaid, an administrative error, and he meant to claim the fifteen hundred back from you while his party took the winter fuel payment from millions of pensioners. Then, in June, he resigned as Defence Secretary with a letter that buried Keir Starmer. Six weeks later Starmer was gone. Burnham moved in. And Burnham made Healey Chancellor. The knife went in. The chair was warm. The reward was the Treasury. Now he wants to tax the banks, because a war abroad has emptied the purse and the IMF has told him to cut spending instead. He has run out of other people's money and he is going through the City's sofa cushions. Meanwhile the legacy gathers dust. The Child Trust Fund, his idea, one point six billion pounds of children's own money left to rot in forgotten accounts while the City takes a hundred million a year in fees. Housing, where he decided families renting rather than owning was "a good thing." A children's charity he vouched for, whose founder was later convicted of child sexual abuse. In Rotherham. Of course. The girl who was twelve is thirty seven now. She lives with it every day. He was not convinced her rape was worth an inquiry. And now he decides how much of your money you keep. That is the Chancellor.
I want Britain’s energy wealth to spark a new wave of clean power. Our decision to approve Jackdaw alongside the new Energy Wealth Fund means we invest in green transition and benefit from our existing natural resources.

Having just spent £200 in Sephora at Silverburn before Tesla before driving home to Clarkston a mentally ill middle age lunatic starts prepping her daughter for marriage with an in-bred cousin because she had to do it.
Welcoming replacement-levels of foreigners into one's country and then radicalising them against the native population with Marxist cultural theory was a bad idea. Zamard Zahid is an alleged school teacher. The Muslim population of Glasgow is ~8%.

My dear Stephen, How lovely to see you marking the sixtieth. One of the darkest days in our history, etched in the memory of the nation, a community of such strength. All true. And all of it happening to somebody else. Here is the part your tribute left in the drawer. The tribunal found the Coal Board wholly to blame and said the disaster "could and should have been prevented". The Coal Board then demanded £250,000 from the disaster fund to clear the tip that killed them. The fund, raised by public donation for the families, handed over £150,000. Your party's government applied the pressure, in secret. George Thomas objected, then folded, and leaned on the trustees until they folded too. The Charity Commission sat on its hands. Nobody was prosecuted. It took thirty years to give it back. In July 1997 Ron Davies, your party's first Welsh Secretary of that spell, returned the £150,000 without interest and without inflation, and conceded the demand should never have been made. So yes. Remembering is lovely. Your lot billed the bereaved for clearing the mine's own tip. Twenty three likes. Five retweets. And looking more like your father every year. Do carry on, pet.
Today marks 60 years since the Aberfan Disaster, one of the darkest days in our history.   The tragedy, which cut short so many lives, remains etched in the memory of our nation. We remember the 144 who died and pay tribute to a community of such strength and resilience.

You really are incredibly stupid. So you want to genocide Israel because you believe there's a genocide? Let me get this straight: genocide is ok as long as it's against Jews. That makes you ... a Nazi. Goodbye.

And if you really want to talk about speech-suppression, the case of the teacher in Yorkshire who has spent the last five years in hiding is a much better subject for discussion.

Jonathan Powell’s position as National Security Adviser is untenable. His repeated meetings with the CCP were disclosed not by the British Government, but by Chinese Communist Party read outs, and serious questions remain over his role in the collapsed China spy case. He is responsible for the Government’s disastrous Chagos negotiations and still advocates giving away billions in taxpayer money to surrender a British territory. He has refused to appear before many Parliamentary committees. Now, concerning material shared publicly by his wife raises further questions about his judgement and sharing access to sensitive information. If he were a Minister, he would have to appear in front of Parliament to answer for these glaring concerns. Instead, the man running our foreign policy and national security refuses any scrutiny. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…
The National Security Advisor’s wife’s tweets have raised serious questions about the handling of sensitive national security information, and the process of approving proscriptions. Is Jonathan Powell's position still tenable? I’ve written to the Prime Minister for answers.
