Hey everyone. I wanted to write this to talk to you with my usual honesty about how things are going on my end. Anyone who knows me or has commissioned me before knows that I'm generally a very busy person and that I always take my time to deliver. However, being away from home right now and living on my own for the first time has complicated my schedule to an extreme degree. This trip has made me appreciate the huge effort it takes to handle daily life while trying to get work done on my commissions. There are days when daily logistics get so complicated that doing something as basic as sending a progress update or answering a message becomes almost impossible, even though I'm genuinely trying my absolute best. I know my current pace is extremely slow and that I can take a long time to give updates, but I want to remind you that there's no scam going on here. My recurring clients can confirm that, even if it takes me an enormous amount of time, I always end up delivering every single commission with the best quality. The problem is that today I had to issue a $100 USD refund because of this exact situation, and having to start the morning $100 down is a damn harsh blow when I'm covering my basic daily living expenses here. At the end of the day, I return the money in full—even if I've already put in time and have progress ready—leaving me completely stranded for my day-to-day. So, if you're not a patient person when it comes to delivery times, if you expect daily communication, or if it crosses your mind that you might request a refund over delays, I sincerely ask you not to commission me. I'd rather be transparent upfront than have us go through a bad time.
