I don’t think people understand how monumental this is. South Carolina is literally wedged between North Carolina and Georgia and as they got more purple/blue over the last three elections, we only got redder…until tonight.

Really downside of the night was Jermaine Johnson losing the governors race for SC. This was the closest we’ve been in decades.
I am so curious why people split the ballot in SC when it came to senate vs governor - we could have had it alllllll (actually ik why)
