Happy 85th birthday, John Madden. Most people think of John as a coach and Madden game-maker but he was quite an athlete, too. He went to Oregon on scolarship in 1954 to play with childhood friend John Robinson. There he raced mile record holder John Landy in a 40. He won.

It’s cool to see Shane Lemieux starting for the Giants, and spiking footballs, but he’ll never be cooler than he was on this day.

@THalseth10 is the man,
– one of many great unsung heroes in that building that have kept Oregon players healthy and ready to play year-round for over a decade. Those folks earn the rings just as much, if not more than the players. 👊

FACT: Since 2000, UW has had 2 byes before playing UO ( '00 & '05)
In that same span, Oregon has had 2 byes before playing UW ('09 & '18)
If you include thurs/fri games leading up, uw has a 3-1 advantage over that same span
UW fans really are just a bunch of whiny bitches
