ALT An old guy sitting in his wheelchair between two donkeys, a white on his right and a gray on on his left, his head laying on the left donkey. They didn't want me to stop!
ALT Looking over the open engine compartment of a riding mower, a brown goat with horns is watching as I get ready to refuel it. My autistic adult son know he's not allowed to handle fuel cans thankfully!
ALT A brown goat with horns and tiny ears, looks over her right shoulder at me when I went to give her attention. The goats have had their noses out of shape for 2 days since the donkeys arrived. Also, caught someone's 5 year old trying to get over the fence because he wanted to pet a donkey. I'll have to go have a chat with the kid's mom tomorrow!
ALT A mostly white mini donkey on the right, and a mostly gray donkey on the left are settling into their no paddock.
ALT A tan goat with horns and tiny ears named Rose, has her back to me as she stands next to her deck. I was there to offer them brushing, however they seldom want attention after 12 straight hours of rain!
ALT A tan goat with horns and tiny ears, peeks up behind her deck that surrounds an old oak tree. Just the top of her head and horns are visible in the photo.
ALT A brown goat with horns and tiny ears is sound asleep, laying on her deck that surrounds an old oak tree. I woke her with a single word, and she jumped down for her evening brushing.
ALT A tan goat with horns and tiny ears, raises her right rear leg to scratch the back of her head, which is bowed down to the ground.
ALT A tan goat with horns and tiny ears is laying in a pile of hay, eating what surrounds her. Goofy goat!
ALT A tan goat with horns and tiny ears is standing on her deck that surrounds an old oak tree. She's looking down at me in my wheelchair, deciding weather to come down to get brushed. In the end, she did and enjoyed much attention.
ALT A newly built and painted small barn is shown that will house a pair of miniature donkeys. The barn has a large overhang over their eating and drinking area just outside the barn, with a closable opening to provide ventilation and allow them to eat from inside or outside of the building. A stainless water bowl is mounted to the wall under the opening to the right of the hay feeder. The opening can be closed during hurricanes to keep them safe and secure.
ALT In this extreme close-up, a brown goat sticks her snout through the wire gate, her black tongue extending out to snatch a cookie in my hand. Next to her, a sign on the fence says, "Keep Gate Closed, no matter what the goats tell you"
ALT A brown goat with horns and tiny ears, squats to have a wee. It's important that I check her stream regularly to make sure she's healthy and drinking enough!
ALT A tan goat with horns and tiny ears, sticks her nose through the bars of the stanchion to eat cooking out of a small plastic bowl.
