Guys please hear me out, Imagine being so desperate to play for your dream club, a club that employed your idol, a club of your desire, a club you would do anything to play for. Then circumstances happen, which postpones your arrival for years and then you finally join one way or the other. The club’s fans welcome you with open arms and you also promise yourself to help them anyhow you can to make them happy and proud of having you. But unfortunately ever since you joined things haven’t gone as planned although you are trying your best to make an impact but your capabilities alone can’t help. Key players losing form, the club not replacing important core of the team and mediocre players having untouchable status in the lineup. But you’ve tried your best to stay consistent by doing your job so well that even in a blank season you are still in contention to be awarded the best player in the world. Then your own fans start calling you self centered, a disgrace, wrong signing and all that despite everyone clearly witnessing that you are one of the few players doing your job properly, exposing you to opposing fans to harass you as well. That said, some of the club’s media pages chance upon every opportunity to discredit whatever you are doing at the club with fans of your own club going as far as rather campaigning for players from other clubs to be awarded the Best player in the world title. NOW the footballer Mbappe aside I’m imagining what “the man” Mbappe is going through, what he must be thinking, what his options might be, what lessons he might be learning, how long he’s willing to endure that pain, the lone blame when things go wrong and all other possibilities. Just put yourself in “the man’s” shoes for a moment and think it through. Now how do we feel? Despite achieving early success in his career he’s now in the moment of pain and suffering. But from his own fans? The club of his life? His dream club? The same club he rejected millions for? Ask yourself, have you treated “the man” right? Have you felt his pain? Have you put yourself in his shoes for once? Is he not trying to do his job? So what else must “the man” do? Football is a team sport and everyone has to bring out their best to achieve the common goal, but as he’s giving his best others are past their best but are still called untouchables. How is the team going to function even? But who takes the blame? The trying one, the one who steps up all the time, the one who doesn’t hide when situations get intense, the one who defends his teammates when they are faced with criticisms. Today it’s not only about the team but a meme which was initially made to kill your self confidence. But you smiled instead Kylian “the man” I stand with you and I want to tell you that you will never be a failure at this beautiful club. Your time will come. Cristiano won his first UCL in his fifth season, he won his first ballon dor in his 4th season both at this beautiful club. He also faced the same level of scrutiny far more before the success followed and I believe he’s on your side on this journey too. Kylian “the man” myself and many Real Madrid fans worldwide are with you and will be with you forever. Your efforts will never be in vain and you will be a success at this club. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow and not the next day, but one thing I know for sure is that KYLIAN MBAPPE will be a champion one day.
