Darpan bisarjan of Maa, at Belur Math today morning. Maa is going back to Kailash today.
During Durga puja in Bengal, there is a ritual of placing a mirror inside a copper or brass bowl at Devi's feet in such a manner that one can see Maa’s reflection in that mirror.
Maa’s bisarjan is done in this way, and is known as darpan bisarjan, which takes place prior to the actual physical bisarjan of the murtis in waterbodies.
Darpan bisarjan signals the end of the four-day long festivities.

I do not believe in allowing Communists and other anti-Hindu groups to put up book stalls anywhere near our Pujo mandapas.
They can put stalls in book fairs or any other secular places, but not in Hindu pujo areas.
These anti-Hindu groups keep insulting our Hindu gods and beliefs. So such groups must not be allowed to cash in on our Hindu pujos using bookstalls, or spread their nefarious propaganda in our pujo mandapas through their books.
Why would groups that openly harbour deep anti-Hindu sentiments be allowed to put bookstalls in Hindu pujo areas !!!
আমি বইয়ের স্টল ভাঙচুরের মতো কোনো কর্মকাণ্ডকে সমর্থন করি না, তবে হিন্দু ধর্মীয় উৎসবের কাছাকাছি এলাকায় হিন্দু-বিদ্বেষী কোনো গোষ্ঠীকে স্টল বসানোর সুযোগ দেওয়ার পক্ষেও নই। অন্যান্য ধর্মের অনুসারীরা এ ধরনের ছাড় দেবে কি না, তা নিয়ে আমার সন্দেহ আছে। তবে বইমেলা বা অন্য কোনো স্থানে এ ধরনের স্টল বসানোয় আমার কোনো আপত্তি নেই। আমি বই নিষিদ্ধ করারও সমর্থক নই। আমাদের সব ধরনের বই পড়া উচিত এবং সব ধরনের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি শোনা উচিত। কেবল বিষয় হলো, হিন্দু-বিদ্বেষী গোষ্ঠীগুলোকে হিন্দু উৎসবের সুযোগ নিয়ে তাদের এজেন্ডা—যার মধ্যে হিন্দু ধর্মকে ধ্বংস করার প্রচেষ্টাও অন্তর্ভুক্ত—এগিয়ে নিতে দেওয়া উচিত নয়। আমরা আমাদের সভ্যতাগত ও জাতীয় স্বার্থকে উপেক্ষা করতে পারি না; কারণ অন্য যেকোনো বিবেচনার চেয়ে এটিই সর্বাগ্রে।

The biggest hurdle to India's national food security is laughable storage facilities/infra and decisions taken in poor taste.
India loses about 65-75 million tonnes of harvested produce (grains, fruits, veg) annually, bleeding exchequer by about ₹1.5 lakh crore every year!
Procuring #Agricultural produce in bulk is easy, storing all that fresh produce in proper cold storage / climate controlled warehouses is what determines how long it can be rationed for.
We desperately need to invest in proper cold chain transport infrastructure for agricultural commodities and in long term storage facilities to minimise post harvest losses, if we hope to feed the largest population in the world!

The messages I have received from students are pretty bad. Their director Dari even threatened them not to talk to media according to them.

Last year a Hindu girl was caught in a hotel room with a Muslim Naxali from Kerala. She was a student of Symbiosis law School Nagpur. At that time some students told me a professor from the college grooms Hindu girls politically, sexually & religiously and gets them introduced to such terrorists.
Today the same professor was caught grooming another Hindu girl by the girl's father. When questioned by the father, the Muslim professor attacked him. The messages were sexual but also about doing Namaz etc. Students alleged this is happening at an industrial scale and marks / leadership is used as a lure.
Will Symbiosis clear up these allegations and provide comfort to Hindu students that they are safe???
