Disassociate with anyone wearing a "shiesty mask"
There's a whole culture of people that walk around with full face masks and listen to music involving shooting people over minor disagreements and disrespect.
The thing is, Ryan Reynolds is known to be not-so-charming behind the scenes. Not funny. Doesn't try to be funny.
So, him pulling this prank on the makeup team probably made a few of them just say
"I've always hated that guy".
When Ryan says "just kidding", it wont matter for them.
Even though it was a prank, they already were on the fence about him, personally.
They really thought he did this - that he just rudely tore away the makeup they spent 8 hours on.
That probably flipped a switch in their brains where they now see him as the enemy.
Doesn't matter if it were a prank.
The "prank" made them automatically review all previous rude interactions with him.
Sort of highlighted all negativity in him for the bubble of time where he acted like his actions were real.
why did they barely open the doors?
stuff like that made it feel like AI, but they messed up the timing of a pool jump toward the end, so it feels realistic.
That's Elon for ya lol
My respect for Elon Musk has mostly vanished, but I still thought that at least he is a good engineer (Teslas are great cars). But that last bit also got a blow after hearing him say that it is easier to "cool things down" in space. The opposite is true. A vacuum is the best possible isolator. In space you can only dissipate heat through radiation. It is extremely unlikely these data centers in space will ever happen (and certainly not in our lifetimes).
Seems like rats would adapt well to navigating in a zero-g environment. they can just bounce off the walls.
This is how animals react in zero gravity…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video mixes real parabolic flight experiments with animals like cats in microgravity and a dog clip from a 2012 SoftBank Japanese commercial using visual effects, not a genuine space experiment. youtube.com/watch?v=v1FvLv… space.stackexchange.com/questions/2697…
one-shotting grok imagine director mode music video test results:
Welp lesson learned. Not one-shotting music video production (or anything, really) ever again.
It's too easy to have full creative control over these things.
It's too easy to be lazy and just ask the system to make all the creative decisions. I mean, it's cool and interesting to see what it comes up with, but it's even more cool and interesting to be able to directly control what goes on the screen.
Aaanyways, here's my music video for my song
"Red Shirt Blues". It's a song for Red Dead Redemption 2.
A funny song about how Arthur Morgan is more concerned about the blood on his shirt than the people he's killin, and he's blaming it all on Mary.
Not too happy with the result, plus it's only 480 resolution. Some nice creative options toward the middle/end but some dry patches and not creative enough for me overall, plus no lipsync!
AND - it ate up 48% of my weekly session time!
Enjoy! lol
I'll make a better version later :D
It'll be nice to compare. Stay tuned lol
Grok Imagine Director mode is quite the busy little bee.
Working HARD checking consistency and continuity. love it lol
I'm using the music video creation tool through Grok Imagine Director mode right now.
So far.. impressive.
The interface.
Question and answer period. It asks for references.
It builds the story beats and storyboards it all, provides a rough template draft, like a slideshow, running at 1.5x with lyrics on the screen. make final revisions and it tightens everything up and makes sure it all matches references after.
The rough draft's slideshow images didn't match my references and I was going to pull the plug. it made 26 individual images to serve as video anchors, but they were off from the references.
So, I went to the first one and used my other character reference sheet to make it match.
Saw that I had to do that for all the images and sort of felt like this process was a waste of time when I could just do it from scratch correctly the first time..
Then.. I saw that the rough draft was deliberately ROUGH and was PURPOSELY not aligning with the reference images.
I feel like this is going to eat up my entire weekly limit with this one song, but this is an experiment.
In the future, I'll just be using these systems for short clips of the full song, for lipsync.
I can use other systems for the other sections of the music video that do not require as rigid consistency.
Finally get to test out the new Grok Imagine Director mode with a music video.
I normally wouldn't try to one-shot, but I'm curious about the default quality.
