London Police Charge Two Men on Release Orders In Human Trafficking Investigation Two London residents are facing multiple charges following an investigation into alleged human trafficking, sexual violence, financial exploitation and coercive control involving multiple victims. The London Police Service (LPS) said members of its Criminal Investigative Division and Human Trafficking Unit began investigating on October 20, 2026, after receiving information about a series of incidents involving alleged fraud, theft, violence, threats and suspected human trafficking. Investigators allege multiple victims were financially exploited through unauthorized access to banking and online accounts, fraudulent purchases, and the theft of money and personal property. Police also allege identification and financial documents were withheld from victims, who were isolated from support networks and subjected to attempts to control their movements, finances and daily activities. As the investigation progressed, police received information suggesting the two suspects had allegedly targeted multiple victims over several weeks. Investigators also learned that a dog had been injured, one victim had allegedly been subjected to sexual violence and forcible confinement, and attempts had been made to recruit her into the sex trade, according to police. With assistance from the LPS Frontline Division, Emergency Response and Canine Units, officers arrested both suspects on October 27. Abdulla Walid Kaddoura, 34, of London, has been charged with: -Robbery -Criminal harassment -Procuring/recruiting a person to provide sexual services for consideration -Forcible confinement -Withhold/destroy travel or identity documents for trafficking -Uttering threats to cause property damage -Two (2) counts of theft under $5,000 -Two (2) counts of assault -Three (3) counts of sexual assault -Causing unnecessary suffering to an animal -Fail to comply with release order Kaddoura was previously charged with first-degree murder in connection with the August 2020 shooting death of 56-year-old Sangita Sharma in Brampton. Ali Ismail, 38, of London, has been charged with: -Robbery -Criminal harassment -Procuring/recruiting a person to provide sexual services for consideration -Forcible confinement -Withhold/destroy travel or identity documents for trafficking -Uttering threats to cause property damage -Extortion -Fail to comply with release order Police believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward and have released photographs of both accused as part of their efforts to identify anyone else who may have been affected. Investigators are also asking anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
