It's true: Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia has been ousted from his Joint Staff role, say officials familiar w/ the issue.
Several voiced exasperation, citing his work as a well regarded 101st Airborne Division commander. He's also a recipient of the Bronze Star with V and Purple Heart.

The media keeps pushing the narrative that Dr. Abdul hasn’t consolidated the Democratic base, even though he appears to have done a better job consolidating Democrats than Rogers has Republicans. In fact, there are more Republicans supporting Abdul than Democrats supporting Rogers. Yet the dishonest media keeps pushing a narrative that serves Rogers instead of reporting the reality of this race.

Britain has announced its largest-ever financial support package for Ukraine – £10 billion ($13.3 billion) in additional economic and military assistance.
Announced today by Chancellor John Healey, the package includes:
- £7 billion in economic support over three years, including World Bank guarantees and grants.
- £3 billion in additional UK export finance capacity, prioritizing military support.
- £500 million in urgent military funding to strengthen Ukraine's air defenses this winter.
The announcement brings Britain's total commitments to Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion to £35 billion ($46.5 billion).
Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Chancellor Healey informed President Zelensky ahead of the announcement. Zelensky responded: "You've made my day."

Haley Stevens is on CNN demanding Abdul El-Sayed denounce ‘hateful rhetoric’ - meanwhile her fiancée says he is voting for a hateful bigot who called El-Sayed a terrorist.

On June 4, 2017, the 34-year-old engineer sergeant was killed in Mali during a hazing incident by fellow special operators who broke into his room, restrained him, and applied a chokehold that led to his death by asphyxiation.
From Lubbock, Texas, he served with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) after enlisting in 2012, completed Special Forces training, and deploying twice to Afghanistan.
Survived by his wife Michelle and their two sons, Melgar was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, leaving a legacy of service and a case that exposed serious issues of accountability within elite military units.
