Siamo in zona Hogwarts, ahimè, non The Inbetweeners.

This is a photo I took of @tkdylan 3 years ago. Spring isn't the same without you Dovie. We'd visit the Botanical Gardens every year when the cherry trees would blossom. It has been nearly a year since he fell into a coma. Tragically, his ventilator hose malfunctioned and Dovie suffered from hypoxia for several minutes. He has never regained consciousness. Since then he's been in and out of the hospital, fighting off one infection after another. No signs of improvement, but he is still alive. And if he's alive, that means he might still miraculously come back to us. There is still hope, no matter how far fetched the likelihood is. I will never stop praying for your recovery. I love you.

Why did the men in trenches write poetry? Because in the most inhuman situation ever, it was their lifeline to being human.
“More than anything, we must get the notion out of our heads that poetry, and writing, and wondering at impossible beauty is somehow a low-T activity, because, let's be real: Very few of us are in a position to test our masculinity against the WWI poets of the trenches.”

I've never heard this before. Incredible. Can you imagine being on the battlefield or near it? How could you wrap your head around it? Do you think they trusted it would last, even an hour?
One of the most intense and profound moments in history. 11am on the 11th November 1918 when the guns fell silent. This should be shown in every school.

Photography had hit its stride by 1914, which is why we have detailed pictorial artifacts of WWI. This which I found researching AMANDA captures Jamie's war service: "His orders attached him to a machine gun unit... 1/2
