If Australia adopted a 'vax and relax' policy for covid, why is Australia making it impossible and/or very expensive to get the covid vaccination? This country has robbed us of clean air, safe masking practices, infection control education and the right to protect ourselves.

Vic Influenza report: "the percentage of influenza tests that were positive have increased 10.0% to 11.1%" After a late start to flu season we have come off the huge peak of cases but now a slight uptick. Last year saw flu season run long into summer. Let's hope we don't repeat.

Vic fortnightly Covid report: "In the past week the percentage of COVID-19 tests that were positive have increased 1.6% to 2.5" Reported cases (limited window of what's happening) have flattened & slight uptick. Too early to see any trend but Covid clearly circulating. Take care.

the pitt dealing with a real nursing shortage would be nice. they show tells us there is a nursing shortage but the nurses dont /feel/ short staffed. like yes we get yelled at for long wait times but like show princess and perlah having to rush between patients!
