🌙 #BuenasNoches. La unidad de helicópteros «ESPUHEL VII», que desplegará en #Eslovaquia el próximo mes de noviembre, ha realizado sus ejercicios ALFA de vuelo en el CENAD «San Gregorio».
Las tripulaciones de los 🚁 NH-90, CH-47 Chinook y HA-28 Tigre, han desarrollado actividades de vuelo, como:
🔹 Escolta de convoy aéreo y terrestre 🔹 Interdicción aérea🔹 Inserción y extracción de unidades de infantería ligera🔹 Close Combat Attack 🔹Finalizando con ejercicios de tiro desde helicóptero.
Han reforzando su preparación operativa y la coordinación entre los componentes de las distintas unidades de las Fuerzas Aeromóviles del #EjércitodeTierra #FAMET.

Sun, sea, and a full-scale Eurofighter 🛩️
The Eurofighter Typhoon replica is on display at Plaza de la Fuente in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, with hundreds of daily visitors getting a closer look at the cockpit and advanced avionics from our Airbus and Eurofighter colleagues on the ground.
The display runs until 13 September, celebrating the Typhoons newly delivered to Ala 46 at Gando Air Base.

How does a Typhoon pilot make a split-second call in the heat of a fight?
It starts with the sensors 🛩️
In a fast-moving fight, a pilot isn't relying on one sensor. Radar, infra-red, datalinks and defensive aids all feed into a single fused picture that supports split-second decisions.
We go behind the scenes with Leonardo's engineers in Edinburgh and Luton, from the CAPTOR-M radar to the next-generation ECRS Mk2 - plus smart countermeasures like Britecloud, an expendable decoy designed to throw incoming missiles off track.
Every upgrade is proven first - thousands of heating and cooling cycles, a lifetime of vibration, and extreme thermal testing - so radars start "first time, every time - Arctic or desert."
