I don't care if we get 50 more years of tariffs because of this burn.
Worth every. single. penny. 👐🏼🪗😂

PM Carney on the Americans calling the alcohol ban an irritant: "You know what's an irritant? 50% tariffs on steel. 50% tariffs on aluminum. 25% tariffs on automobiles. All the tariffs on forest products. Those are more than irritants, those are violations of our trade deal."

Tonight, Congress will vote to lower the age to prosecute minors as adults from 16 down to 14 in DC.
Let me get this straight:
Congress wants to prosecute 14 yr. olds as adults, but they don’t want to prosecute adults who sexually abuse 14 year olds?
Release the Epstein files.

3 months ago, today, Melissa Hortman and her husband were murdered by a Trump supporter.
They had kids, too.

It has. It's not the cause.
I apparently need to say this stuff over and over and over and over again.
And again.
Bill 5 is an environmental nightmare waiting to happen. Greedy developers are salivating at the opportunity to clear cut prime green spaces to build single family sprawling mansions. Protests & rallies are being organized yet Hamilton is nowhere to be seen. Anyone interested?

Does anyone else find it a bit odd that this Alberta Republican Party was so organized so quickly after Smith's announcement that they had pamphlets ready for door-knocking, have a full-blown phone calling campaign, etc? Inside info? Exactly who's funding it? - I have ??'s

Mark Carney on @RosieBarton now giving an excellent interview. As hard as she tries, RB is not getting any gotcha moments. MC is sharp, articulate and is not taking any nonsense from RB. 👏👏👏

you have freedom of expression, always have.
you have freedom of religious, always have.
Canada is still one of the safest countries in the world, you're perfectly safe.
Consume less propaganda, stop blaming the government for your shitty life, grow up, do better.

Dear Liberals: i can 💯 confirm that Christy Clark is a Conservative.
Worse: She thinks politics is saying whatever is required to win. The worst kind of politics.

I've been told I'm on the "wrong side of history" for advocating for vaccines.
Actual history suggests otherwise
For example - tetanus cases ;

The Covid vaccine was a MASSIVE
success during the pandemic.
Look how global deaths plummeted once the vaccines were rolled out at scale in early 2022!!

My mom's sick with a "not COVID" (1 negative test) cold, and my brother's family spent the morning in children's hospital ER. Their baby was having trouble breathing, diagnosed with RSV. One uncle is struggling to recover from sepsis and a gut infection, diagnosed with myasthenia gravis earlier this year. Another was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, metastatized to his brain. Meanwhile, I've tested COVID+ for 9.5 months.
This new normal is not normal. Occasionally, flu would make a family ill and they'd stay home. But we're gathering like this and spreading the infections around to vulnerable people, and never have I seen so many different illnesses at once. COVID destroys immune function and public health's failure has warped infection control and our perception of normal.
The poor children will never know that life used to be different.
