This weekend, I’ll be at Pools, but it will be a little different. All National League games kick off at 3:03pm to back the #3Up campaign, calling for 3 promotion spots to the EFL. Backed by legend @JeffStelling, you can sign the petition here 👉 bit.ly/3UpPetition

‘3 UP’ - PUT FOOTBALL FIRST! 💙⚽ In Parliament today I stood up for @Official_HUFC and every club fighting for fairness. Only 2 teams go up from the National League, it’s time for 3! Backed by all 72 clubs, @JeffStelling, @NL_Enterprise and fans!👇👇 #HUFC #3Up

🚫 Ban school holiday rip-offs. End unfair fines! ✋ Families shouldn’t be punished for wanting time together. Price hikes are immoral & fines don’t fix attendance, they just hit those already struggling. Let’s change this. 👇🎥

It was wonderful to welcome Christine and Becky from @Hpool_Carers to Parliament today. Their work for our town is extraordinary and it was an honour for me host them.

Last week, I chaired the inaugural meeting of the All Party Parliament Group on Council Tax Reform. A Band D property in Westminster is just over £900 a year, in Hartlepool it’s nearly £2,400. It’s unacceptable, we need change and the work of this group will fight for it.
