Calling things "psyops" is usually dubious and often schizo-adjaacent. Most large organizations are way too dumb (cumbersome, disorganized, gossipy etc.) to effectively execute "psyops", least of all the major American political parties in their current state.

Marjorie Taylor Greene broke with Trump because he didn't endorse her for Georgia governor, not because of Israel, Iran, or Epstein. The timeline is clear and it's embarrassing to hold her up as principled!

This is correct
Reporter: What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginia— AOC: Wah wah wah. We have asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no. Republicans have fought for partisan gerrymanders across the United States of America. And these are the rules that they have set. And so if the Republican Party wanted to start this, they did this in North Carolina. They drew out three Democratic members of Congress in North Carolina. They did it in Texas. What they’re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over, doesn’t fight, and takes everything sitting down. And what they’re mad at right now is that we are here in a new day. And we have been asking the Democratic Party to stand up and fight, and now they did—and now the Republican Party doesn’t like the fact that they are fighting against someone who actually will stand up for the American people. So if Republicans decide that they would like to revisit a ban on partisan gerrymandering, I welcome them. We have the bill right here to end this all today. But they don’t want to, because they like pursuing and continuing to enact an unfair electoral landscape. And so we have an obligation to defend ourselves.

I've seen a lot of takes that Orbán's defeat means that he was never an authoritarian in the first place. This is completely wrong — and, in fact, betrays a complete misunderstanding of both Hungarian politics and modern authoritarianism. Here's why.

Why is Rob McColley, Vivek Ramaswamy’s running mate, refusing to allow a vote that would protect countless jobs across Ohio and allow Ohio adults to make their own decisions?

She has my vote
Starting this Saturday, Ohio breweries like Jackie O’s could face felony charges for selling hemp-derived beverages—products that our voters overwhelmingly legalized in 2023. This ban is an out-of-touch overreach from our Statehouse that threatens jobs, small businesses, farmers, and local breweries. As governor, I’ll respect the will of the voters and ensure that Ohio adults 21+ can safely make their own decisions. It’s that simple.

Not to get political, but America is very pretty and has a lot of nice folks making cool things, and I think if we had a president who wasn’t actively trying to murder us, we could have a pretty good time

The Democratic Party’s consistent message that reelecting Trump would be the end of democracy in the US is looking to be very correct. People didn’t vote for Democrats because they thought this was histrionics!

Wild that this isn’t a bigger story. ICE is in violation of almost *100* court orders—including denying bond hearings & imprisoning people illegally. If you care about the rule of law, then that should bother you.

The sequel trilogy is so illustrative of boomer radicalism. It desperately wants to continue being the underdog rebelling against the oppressors that they more or less just ignore that they won in the previous movie and larp on. If the prequel trilogy was about democracy collapsing, and the OT about rebelling against the Empire, what should the final third be about? How to handle power responsibly, of course. But that would require growing up.
Some may not want to accept it, but Disney is quietly admitting that The Sequel Trilogy was a failure.

The most insane thing about all this, is just that: -There is no reason to defend this. It’s not political. You could just say: “Officer didn’t follow protocol. Doesn’t reflect our values. Will be held accountable” There is NOTHING to gain from defending this UNLESS you *want* for ICE to have the freedom to kill US citizens for disagreeing with you!
This is preposterous. First of all, she's not waving the officers through and has no right to do so even if she were. She is waving another car through, before the officers approach her car. Second, the officers are not randomly searching her, they are approaching her vehicle because she is violating the law: namely, she is obstructing a lawful enforcement operation. You're not allowed to walk up to or drive up to people who are enforcing the law to make it harder for them to do their jobs. Third, this defense attorney is drawing a meaningless distinction between an ICE officer and a "real police officer." Again, you're not allowed to interrupt a lawful enforcement operation, which is exactly what this woman was doing. Fourth, the officer didn't discharge his weapon to prevent her from fleeing. When he discharged his weapon, she had pointed the vehicle at him and pressed the gas. He discharged his weapon in self defense, and other angles of the video show the woman *clearly* hit the officer with her car while accelerating. The gaslighting is off the charts and I'm having none of it. This guy was doing his job. She tried to stop him from doing his job. When he approached her car, she tried to hit him. A tragedy? Absolutely. But a tragedy that falls on this woman and all of the radicals who teach people that immigration is the one type of law that rioters are allowed to interfere with.

Funny to me at least that conservatives think that Europe must be drowning in debt because of their superior infrastructure, healthcare, and social services…
We don't have any debt you moron.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Denmark's total central government debt was approximately €29.1 billion at the end of 2024. This is equivalent to 7.4 per cent of its GDP. The internationally comparable general government gross debt (EMU debt), the figure was approximately 30.5 per cent of GDP in 2024. nationalbanken.dk/en/government-… ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/p…

Hilarious that they didn’t invite JD over security concerns but they still leaked the attacks to the media.
Replying to @JDVance
@JDVance Team giving color abt his involvement in Venezuela operation. If anyone thinks he may be on a different page than Pres Trump, think again. He joined via conference call so the motorcade didn't tip anyone off... "Vice President Vance was deeply integrated in the process and planning of the Venezuela strikes and Maduro’s arrest. He joined several late night meetings via secure video conference with National Security principals leading up to the operation. The Vice President briefly met with President Trump at the Trump golf club in West Palm Beach during the day Friday to discuss the strikes. The Vice President was not at Mar-a-Lago on Friday night, as the National Security team was concerned a late-night motorcade movement by the Vice President while the operation was getting underway may tip off the Venezuelans. The Vice President joined by secure video conference throughout the night to monitor the operation. He returned to Cincinnati after the operation concluded. Due to increased security concerns, the Administration has aimed to limit the frequency and duration of the Vice President and President being co-located away from the White House."
