we're in 2026 and sports bettors are still obsessed with classifying Prediction Markets as gambling, or at least in the same breath as casinos.
But for someone who has used Prediction Markets ( I mean genuinely with research) he won't ever say such Bs.
A regular person can make money on prediction markets if they find a niche, do actual work, and stay disciplined.
The distinction between casinos/sportsbooks and a prediction market is a large one and the incentives that drive each business are fundamentally different.
One thing to note is that the relationship between a sportsbook/casino is predatory and given that it is predatory, then users/customers are literally the prey and these companies have optimized to take as little risk as possible.
In other words, they want easy prey. Easy prey which does as much gambling as possible, and as little work as possible. (and as a result permit them to extract as much as possible from these ''preys'').
someone who is smart and hard working and finding a niche is totally anathema to them, we can agree to this yea ?
Worst part is, if they find you are a profitable bettor, they'll do every thing possible to bring you down and ban your ãss.
On prediction markets, a user has far, far, far more CONTROL.
The user can deposit what they want, deposit when they want, bet on what they want, bet when they want, bet the amount they want, choose the price they want to buy at, choose to be a maker or a taker, choose when and where to sell. And, if you are a user, and you spend hours looking at every single market and can't find anything interesting, you can literally ask them for a new market on something you do want ( I have already tried it with some Prediction Markets but i'll keep their names, don't want to do publicity).
Overall Prediction markets give the user control, whereas sportsbooks and casinos offer up the illusion of control.
free market where users have control is absolutely morally superior to an adversarial company that preys on its customers.
prediction markets are more fair and user-empowering than traditional gambling, but yea fees exist and most casual users still lose money.
but the differential in morality between the two types of business is not close.
Even Zach is bothered bout the current state of Prediction Markets.
Prediction markets are now seen as shady gambling, no more that accurate "wisdom of the crowd" tools.
we have already experienced so many wrong things lately like resolution fights, whales rigging via UMA, and insiders games.
Most users are now treating these platforms like memecoins chasing quick wins, getting addicted, and losing money.
the smart ones and platforms profit, while average gamblers lose and get blamed after.
All the the negative press sticks to us users and the whole industry itself.
It is not the fair and transparent future many hoped for.
If you are someone who Plays big, it's better to stay away if you hate uncertainty.
was able to mint some of the NFts on @Squeekchain.
since I'm in silver tier, I got 4Nfts.
I later on merged them for a Level 2, which means I have 2 level 2 squeeks NFTs.
staked them to receive SQK. Which is the reward token of Squeekchain.
All new SQK goes to people who stake Squeek NFTs (and optionally SQK itself).
Higher-level NFTs = more power = bigger share of rewards.
once claimed, you can hold, transfer, stake, or burn it (capped at 2.1B total).
get started on squeekchain :

Leave Elysium and pay attention to this.
@pillheadddd is working with @squeektoshi to fully deploy @sqeekchain, a hamster-powered “toychain” on Ethereum.
It's neither an L1/L2 but a protocol built directly on Ethereum. The hamster’s work gets settled through smart contracts on Ethereum (currently Sepolia).
no vcs backing and no amount raised seems like it’s being built independently by Pillheaddddd.
they're currently preparing for their upcoming NFT, the squeek NFT.
To get a whitelist (WL) spot for the Squeek NFT, join the free Genesis campaign and farm Aura points. Higher Aura = better ranking for the whitelist.
here's a quick step:
1. Join genesis here:
squeekchain.com/genesis/i/hd…
2. connect an EVM wallet and sign a message (no transaction, no fee).
3. Link your X and Link Discord for an extra badge.
4. Earn badges to farm Aura:
- Invite friends (referral link).
- Holder badges (if you held certain NFTs at the Oct 14 snapshot).
- Tester badge (interact with Sepolia contracts, here's how you can get it :
go to: squeek.mfbrat.com/
connect wallet and scroll down, click ''connect wallet and send a ping '' done).
- Builder/Code path (if you’re a developer)
so overall more Aura = higher rank = better chance at WL.
___________________________________
another way to get WL is to play the Exsqueektion game.
The top of the leaderboard will be getting WL and all active players can earn badges.
> Play here: squeek.win
things to note:
- It is completely free
- you need sepolia eth to get tester badge.
- use only official links from @squeekchain.
- X account should ideally be 1+ year old for full invite rewards.
Follow @squeekchain, mint details will only be announced there.
join discord if you have any issue :

being right about an outcome and making a good trade are two different things
you could correctly predict that bitcoin will rise, enter a position at an unfavourable price and still end up with a poor trade
this is why i think order execution deserves more attention in prediction markets
bagel supports both market and limit orders
with a market order, you prioritise getting into the position at the best available price
with a limit order, you decide the price you're comfortable entering at and wait for someone to match it
i particularly like having that choice on mobile because not every opportunity deserves an immediate entry
bagel also has slippage protection, which adds another useful layer when executing trades
the way i see it, having an opinion is only one part of participating in prediction markets
knowing what price you're willing to pay is another
@bagel_win is cooking this up all in mobile
gud tek

let's get started on
@acepyr, they building a prediction market (don't think more pm is needed tho)
they got 1B total supply, with 150M tokens (15%) set aside for testnet participants.
25% unlocks at TGE, while the remaining 75% vests over 24 months....the testnet is live
It's $0 btw......link in cs if you wanna get started.
some of the worst Vcs you can have backing a project planning to do community Airdrop.
- DWF labs
- Yzilabs
- Hackvc
- HashKey capital
immediately I see these Vcs especially the first one backing a project planning to do community Airdrop, I just know it won't turn out to be +ve
rumours circulating about the @Hibachi_xyz tokenomics altho team said it isn't the official tokenomics.
but the problem is, the document is registered on the official MICAr site and farmers are kinda worried because in the document, it says :
- only 10% of tokens going to the airdrop which is much less than competitors like Variational (~32%) or Extended (~30%).
- and of that 10%, just 3.5% unlocks at launch. The rest is locked and released over 3 months.
Idk man but why are teams becoming so stingy?
If they think by doing so, it would hold down sell pressure then they haven't learnt from recent projects.
It will probably make a lot of people leave after the airdrop, which could hurt trading volume and make the project weaker long-term.
farmers just hope that the tokenomics on MICAr site isn't really the ''real'' one

most of the projects who delay TGE, often do not do well at TGE.
majority of FHE projects so far are for DeFi (private money, sealed bids).
@FungoLabs is different because it uses FHE for something regular people already know: NFTs and games.
It shows a simple idea:
- you can own and trade the NFT like normal.
- what’s inside stays private.
- the blockchain can still use the private data (for games or auctions) without seeing it.
If people actually use Fungo’s NFTs and other projects launch on its platform, it therefore becomes a real proof that FHE can work for everyday apps, not just crypto finance tools.
do you agree with my logic ?
nobody talks about this but FungoLabs launchpad is so underrated.
their launchpad went live so other studios can launch their own encrypted NFT collections on Ethereum (using Zama’s FHE), the same way Fungo’s own Genesis collection works.
A studio brings its art and rules. Now @FungoLabs seals everything with FHE. The NFTs stay encrypted on-chain until the holder (or the rules the studio set) open them.
1. when launching a collection, the studio decides:
- How things look while sealed
custom sealed image, or patterns like pixelated, mosaic, LED, static, etc.
- Traits shown in a special alphabet (runes, hieroglyphs, gothic, or just “Sealed”).
2. how and when things open (for the picture and each trait):
- Public from the mint.
- Opened by the holder.
- Opened on a specific date (after the sale).
- Never opened to the public.
Traits drawn on the picture can be tied to it so they open together.
3. How they sell:
- Public mints.
- Allowlists (by X account or wallet).
- Sealed-bid auctions (one clearing price for all winners, the bids stay encrypted).
studios set the rules; FHE keeps the content private and usable on-chain until those same rules say otherwise.

as someone who's very interested in Prediction Markets, especially in market resolutions.
I've seen plenty of drama in disputed Markets, especially the ones on Polymarket.
because on Polymarket, disputed markets go to UMA token holders to vote. A few big holders can control the outcome. Like In one case, where a whale helped push a ~$7M Ukraine mineral deal market to “Yes” even though no official deal existed yet. Clear evidence got overridden by voting power.
here's a good case on how Primus × Cournot would handle it.
@Primus_labs (zkTLS) proves the real sources (official statements, government pages, news) are authentic. then later creates a cryptographic proof that the data came from those sites without needing to trust screenshots or copies.
cournot then reads those proven sources and decides Yes or No based on the market rules.
the result is now tied to verified evidence, not to whoever holds the most UMA.
so instead of a vote that can ignore the facts, the market settles on “here’s the proven evidence + here’s why it means Yes or No.”
this essentially now makes the kind of whale-driven drama much harder to happen in future.
if you are living under a rock here's the most important thing that happened in crypto yesterday
Primus and Cournot are teaming to make sure AI judging things like prediction market outcomes or credit conditions works from data with a verified origin
@primus_labs covers the proof side with zkTLS, the same tech behind kaito extension for example, that lets people prove trading positions without sharing their logins
Cournot then uses that data to decide the outcome, and the reasoning behind each decision can be checked by anyone. on prediction markets, a result only gets settled once the source is confirmed as authentic
for private credit and RWA, it builds on things Primus has already shipped like real-time proof of reserves with Unitas and Brevis, where financial conditions can be confirmed onchain while the underlying numbers stays private

secret Network and Obscura are close but more mature on the “private ownership” side, but they use different technology and different chains.

so the @fungolabs genesis mint is today, ~6hrs.
There are two ways to get a Genesis NFT today:
1. Free Mint (Whitelist / Nominees only)
starts: 12:30 UTC (with a 3-hour window).
What you need:
- to be on the whitelist or a nominee (tied to your X account)
- An Ethereum wallet with some ETH for gas.
- sign in with your X account on the official site and link your wallet.
cost: Free + gas + a small 0.0018 ETH fee (half is refunded)
and you can only mint 1 NFT.
2. Public Auction (anyone can join)
starts: 15:30 UTC (lasts 24 hours).
What you need:
- cZAMA (you convert regular ZAMA into cZAMA on the mint page).
- some ETH for gas.
- place a bid: choose how much cZAMA you’re willing to pay per NFT + how many you want.
How it actually works:
- bids are private (encrypted).
- At the end, the lowest bid that fills the 2,500th NFT sets the final price
everyone who wins pays that same price (extra is refunded).
- After the auction ends, you now claim your NFT + any refund.
Official mint page: fungolabs.org/launchpad/d/fu…
make sure to only use the official site.
goodluck
