-CB Tre Miller remains OUT for this week with ankle injury
-RB Benjamin Hall and NICKEL Kaleb Cost with no injury designation after being probable, yet not playing against Syracuse
-S Peyton Waters is questionable after being probable, yet not playing against Syracuse
-OT Jordan Hall is questionable after returning and playing all 70 snaps
-OL Andrew Threatt is questionable after an injury suffered against Syracuse
-LB Jonathan Agumadu is questionable after playing 31 snaps on Saturday, his second-most in a game this season

It took OT and a little luck, but the Tar Heels were able to close out their preseason with an 89-82 win over Charlotte. @HTB_Josh gives you his biggest takeaways from the final tune up before the team faces Western Carolina to open the season.

Initial UNC/Charlotte thoughts:
-that was WAY harder than it had to be or should’ve been
-Terrence Brown finally shows out scoring 27 PTS. He needs to be Carolina’s lead guard once the regular SZN begins
-Turnovers, missed FTs & lack of rebounding are current characteristics of this team
-Another is slow starts. UNC trailed by as many as 15 in the 1H before cutting the lead to 3 at the break
-Jaydon Young and Angelo Brizzi have earned roles off the bench. Malone needs to deploy 3-guard lineups as much as possible
-Isaiah Denis needs to lose the headband
-The fight and the resilience we saw from CLT is a testament to what Wes Miller will build there

Michael Malone said the team still hasn’t won a first half. Said the team looked nervous and overhyped early in this one in the first game in front of a home crowd. Said it was a “miracle” that they were down three at the half.

UNC closed the game on a 9-0 run, as CLT finished the OT period going 1-9 from the field.
