@Barrattplc admitted they have never faced such remediation, we are between railway and dual carriage way, they don't know how to go about it. They did say we will need to move out. The defect is the external wall material not to norm, and wasn't in 2007 when it was built,

Remediation will take 4 years, starting in 1.5 years. Best case, we would have been stuck, paying extortionate service charges for 8 years. This building was not legal at time of build. Anyone knows journalist we can talk to? And solicitors specialised in building regulations?

so not because regulations changed after grenfell. They said they could not have known, which means either they did not have test data from manufacturers in 2007, which is against regulations, or what they had was false, in which case we should be able to sue the manufacturer.
